In the past ten years, it has had an impressive growth record. Two years ago, you entered China’s market. At present, your products are enjoying a bigger market share in China. I am really satisfied with your all your answers and I think your performance is nearly impeccable, but obviously, nobody can be perfect, and we have kinds of weaknesses, What do you consider your greatest strength?A: Let me see… I would say that my greatest weaknes s is being too much of perfectionist in my work. Sometimes, I spend more time than necessary on a task, although I never missed the deadline, it is still an effort for me to know when to move on to the next task, and to be confident when assigning others work.B: Ok, thanks for your cooperation, if we made a decision, we will inform you immediately.A: Thank you for give me this opportunity.。

UNIT 3 My First Job课文翻译大学英语二教学文案

UNIT 3 My First JobTrying to make some money before entering university, the author applies for a teaching job. But the interview goes from bad to worse...While I was waiting to enter university, I saw advertised in a local newspaper a teaching post at a school in a suburb of London about ten miles from where I lived. Being very short money and wanting to do something useful, I applied, fearing as I did so, that without a degree and with no experience in teaching my chances of getting the job were slim. However, three days later a letter arrived, asking me to go to Croydon for an interview. It proved an awkward journey: a train to Croydon station; a ten-minute bus ride and then a walk of at least a quarter to feel nervous. The school was a red brick house with big windows, The front garden was a gravel square; four evergreen shrubs stood at each corner, where they struggled to survive the dust and fumes from a busy main from a busy main road.It was clearly the headmaster himself that opened the door. He was short and fat. He had a sandy-coloured moustache, a wrinkled forehead and hardly any hair.He looked at me with an air of surprised disapproval, as a colonel might look at a private whose bootlaces were undone. 'Ah yes,' he grunted. 'You'd better come inside.' The narrow, sunless hall smelled unpleasantly of stale cabbage; the walls were dirty with ink marks; it was all silent. His study, judging by the crumbs on the carpet, was also his dining-room. 'You'd better sit down,' he said, and proceeded to ask me a number of questions: what subjects I had taken in my General School Certificate; how old I was; what games I played; then fixing me suddenly with his bloodshot eyes, he asked me whether I thought games were a vital part of a boy's education. I mumbled something about not attaching too much importance to them. He grunted. I had said the wrong thing. The headmaster and I obviously had very little in common. The school, he said, consisted of one class of twenty-four boys, ranging in age from seven to thirteen. I should have to teach all subjects except art, which he taught himself. Football and cricket were played in the Park, a mile away on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons. The teaching set-up filled me with fear. I should have to divide the class into three groups and teach them in turn at three different levels; and I was dismayed at the thought of teaching algebra and geometry-two subjects at which I had been completely incompetent at school. Worse perhaps was the idea of Saturday afternoon cricket; most ofmy friends would be enjoying leisure at that time.I said shyly, 'What would my salary be?' 'Twelve pounds a week plus lunch.' Before I could protest, he got to his feet. 'Now', he said, 'you'd better meet my wife. She's the one who really runs this school.'This was the last straw. I was very young: the prospect of working under a woman constituted the ultimate indignity.进入大学之前,尽力去攒一些钱。

应聘经历英文作文

应聘经历英文作文

应聘经历英文作文I remember my first job interview vividly. It was for a sales position at a clothing store. I walked into the store and was immediately greeted by the manager, who had a warm and friendly smile. She asked me to tell her a little bit about myself, and I started by mentioning my previous experience in customer service. I emphasized my ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers, which I believed would be an asset in a sales role.During the interview, the manager asked me about my strengths and weaknesses. I confidently talked about my strong organizational skills and attention to detail, which I believed would help me excel in managing inventory and merchandising. However, when it came to weaknesses, I stumbled a bit. I didn't want to appear too negative, so I chose to mention my desire to continuously improve and learn from my mistakes. The manager then asked me about a challenging situationI had faced at work and how I handled it. I immediately thought of a time when a customer was unhappy with a product and demanded a refund. I explained how I remained calm and empathetic, listened to the customer's concerns, and offered a solution that satisfied both the customer and the company.Next, the manager inquired about my availability and willingness to work weekends and holidays. I assured her that I was flexible and understood the importance of being available during peak shopping times. I also mentioned my eagerness to contribute to the team and take on additional responsibilities whenever needed.Towards the end of the interview, the manager asked if I had any questions for her. I asked about the company's training and development opportunities, showing my eagerness to grow and improve within the organization. The manager seemed pleased with my question and took the time to explain the various training programs available. As the interview concluded, the manager thanked me formy time and said she would be in touch soon. I left the interview feeling both nervous and hopeful. I knew I had given it my best shot and showcased my skills and enthusiasm for the role. It was a valuable experience that taught me the importance of being prepared, confident, and authentic in job interviews.。

He grew a moustache which was pale reddish yellow. His forehead was covered with freckles.3.What impression did the hall give the writer?Reference Answer: It was a narrow, dim (unlighted) hall which had an offensive odor of dried up cabbage. The walls, once painted in cream color, had darkened to the color of margarine and in a few places were marked with ink stains. Silence prevailed in the hall.5. Why do you think the headmaster had ―bloodshot eyes?Reference Answer: Perhaps he liked to have a drop too much.6.What kind of class was the writer asked to teach?Reference Answer: It was a class of 24 boys who were from seven to thirteen years.7.Why was the writer diffident when asking about his salary?Reference Answer: Because he had little self-confidence as he was young and it was the first time he had had an interview. Besides, perhaps he was not used to asking about money matters.8.What is meant by ―This was the last straw?Reference Answer: The phrase ―the last straw comes from the saying ―It is the last straw that breaks the camel’s back. What the saying means is that ―straw is very light in weight, but if you increase the burden on the camel’s back straw by straw, eventually you will put on his back one straw too many, and that last straw will break his back.‖ When used figuratively, ―the last straw means ―an addition to a set of troubles which makes them unbearable. Here in the text, the writer regards his having to work under a woman as an additional source of annoyance which would make the job all the more intolerable.9.What was the writer’s impression of the headmaster? How did he arrive at this? Reference Answer: His impression was unfavorable. To the writer, the headmaster was a short, stout, freckle-foreheaded, bald man, with a big unpleasant paunch. As the headmaster was not as neatly dressed as a gentleman was supposed to be, he gave the impression of having always worn the same suit. Probably he was badly off. He received the young man with a look of surprised disapproval and during the whole interview he assumed an air of condescension, 4 which was quite annoying to the young man. Moreover, the headmaster made great demands on the young man, while he himself did not seem to know much about teaching.10.Tell what you know about the young writer.Reference Answer: The writer was a young school leaver waiting to enter university. He was badly in need of money and he seemed to be a man of vitality and energy. He wanted to do something useful that could bring him some money. He did not have much experience in life, nor in teaching. He looked very bashful, having little self-confidence. Fearing that he might not get the job, he was careful about what he said. He had to do what he did not like to do. To make matters worse, he had to work under a woman, which was the most humiliating thing to a man of his age, but whether he liked it or not, he had to take the job.TO WORKBOOKTEXT 1 ( P2 )My First JobComprehensionA. But trains are different. On a train, you can walk around, look at the scenery, observe your fellow passengers; whereas in a plane all you can see are the clouds and the back of other people’s heads. And then there are the stations. Some, I’m afraid, have become too like airport; others, fortunately, are old and dirty, full of unexpected details and with their own individual peculiarities. Traveling by train remains an adventure, as you try to interpret the timetable, persuade the booking office clerk to sell you a ticket and understand the incomprehensible messages coming over the loudspeaker system. Then there is that delightful uncertainty as you wonder whether you are on the right train, or the right part of the train. There’s nothing like it.writing ( P7 )I applied for my first job before I entered university because I was short of money. The school where I applied for a job was ten miles away from where I lived and I was not sure if I could get the job. However, after a terrible journey I was so depressed that I no longer felt nervous. The Victorian schoolhouses stood amid fumes and dust main road. The headmaster was not at all scholarly, neither was the inside of the house academic looking. By and by I discovered that the headmaster and I had very little in common. He wanted me to teach twenty-four boys from seven to thirteen who, were to be split up into three levels. I had to teach everything including the subjects I abhorred (憎恶). Furthermore, I had to work on Saturdays too. The pay was low. To top it all, I had to work under a woman, the headmaster’s wife, who was the real manager of the school.3.Paragraph Writing( (略)Writing (P8)1.Flat 301, 574 Daxing StreetXining, Qinghai 81005615 June, 20 __Dear Prof. Qing,2.Flat 402, 583 Ningpo Road,Wenzhou, Zhejiang 325008December 20, 20 __Dear Uncle Ming,3.609 Grant StreetEnterprise, OR 97828March 2, 20 __COMPREHENSIVE EXERCISES1. On the afternoon of that eventful day, I stood on the porch, dumb, expectant, I guessed from my mother’s signs and from the hurrying in the house that something unusual was about to happen, so I went to the door and waited on the steps. Hanging down from the porch was sweet-smelling honeysuckle. My fingers lightly touched the familiar leaves and blossoms which had just come forth to greet the sweet southern spring. UNIT 3 My First Job课文翻译大学英语二word版本

作文内容The long summer vacation only lasted a few days, and I stayed at home doing nothing. So I decided to call my little buddy to find a summer job. The hot wind blowing in the hot summer was just a few minutes away, and my body began to sweat constantly. We know that the job is not so easy to imagine now, we saw a lot of the street between the Human Resources Inc, although there are a lot of recruitment information, but many companies do not recruit summer workers only recruit permanent jobs, some for a summer job, too far, screening for so long no one for us at this time, in the fierce sun, we already sweating, but we still insist, finally pays off, we finally found a suitable for our summer jobs, but the company is so close to our home, we have to walk with long time. But this company will also sign the contract through the interview, and I'm excited and excited by my little companion. We don't have any work experience. This is our first interview. We found that when waiting for the interview, teams have told us about many of the older students, they are likeus, finally it was my turn to go to the interview, sitting inside a person, I think he is probably a manager, actually also does not have that what we want to interview the manager asked the complex. A few simple questions, such as you satisfied with the salary, you do not eat the bitter of such problems, interview. The manager will announce the result when all the interviews are finished. When the manager came out, I was so nervous that I could feel my heart beating fast, and I was relieved when he read my name. I picked up with my little friends, but in fact, we found that most of the candidates were selected. After a day's training, we will be ready for work in a few days. In fact, the training is only a brief note of attention, the allocation of shifts. When we are hesitant to work in the daytime or night, there are a lot of students chose the night shift, because they feel cool at night than during the day, when the work is not so hot. So we decided to take the night shift. When I got home, I told my mother that I was going to work on the night shift, and my mother was in a bad mood. She said it was hard work on the night shift and asked if I could hold on. I was full of confidence and said there was no problem, but I got the first day ofwork, although it was a little cooler than the daytime, but the workshop was quiet and terrible at night. When I thought it was about daybreak, I took a look at the time before I found out it was less than 12 in the middle of the night. Oh, my God, how long is it? What time does it break?! After midnight we can go to the dining hall, but inside the dish we flattered, see what no appetite, we hurriedly picking a few mouthfuls of rice do not want to eat, it can take a few egg go, or we'll be hungry work. Although this work looks very easy, is to give the milk packing, but only a few days my fingers began to blister, and at night to sleep during the day, I was in the day is very difficult to sleep, not the spirit of the work at night. I started eating with my little buddy, and just a week after we decided to quit.Fortunately, that contract at least a week to pay, we just work for a week, or we don’t nothing for this week, when I got the money, the heart is feeling, the money is really not easy, this work was a experience. And I also know how hard it is for my parents to work. I think only by working hard can I find a good job in the future to repay them.。

I've been checking out job boards online, asking my friends if they know of any openings, and even reaching out to companies directly to see if they have any positions available.I also had to update my resume and write a cover letter. This was a little challenging because I've never done it before, but with some help from my parents and teachers, I think I did a pretty good job. I made sure to highlight my strengths and skills, and I even included a few examples of projects I've worked on in school. Now, I just have to wait and see if I get any interviews. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. I know it might take some time, but I'm excited for this new chapter in my life. Wish me luck, guys!。

Last winter holiday, not confident with my performance in the postgraduate entrance examination, I began to post my curriculum vitae to some companies via the Internet.
Several days later, I received a phone call with reference to a job interview from an education agency. I was required to participate a job interview on the coming Tuesday.
On that Tuesday, I arrived at the appointed location punctually. A serious-faced woman named Kelley received me. Since I had applied for the post of an English teacher only, with no more details, Kelley inquired me about the level. Preferring less challenge, I chose to teach the junior school students. Then Kelley showed me some test papers and required me to finish them in a limited time. Finishing the papers in time with most answers correct, I passed the preliminary test.
In the following interview, Kelley assumed several teaching situations to judge whether I was flexible, patient, experienced, reliable and capable. All these conversations were in English. Later, I gave a lesson on trial. After the class, we consulted about the salary, location, working time and finally reached the agreement.
This is my first job interview. Perhaps not perfect, it is still one experience from which I have learnt a lot. The staff education agencies want to recruit most are those who are expert in the professional knowledge, as well as those who have the ability to take students’
learning conditions into considerations and communicate with them well. In the job is interview, the prospect employers are very strict with these investigations. Maybe I am not qualified yet, but I will improve myself from every aspect to meet all these requirements.。
