Her shopping had tired her and her basket had grown heavier with every step of the way home. In thelift her thoughts were on lunch and a good rest; but when she got out at her own floor, both were forgotten in her sudden discovery that her front door was open. She was thinking that she must reprimand her home help the next morning for such a monstrous piece of negligence, when she remembered that she had gone shopping after the home help had left and she knew that she had turned both keys in their locks, She walked slowly into the hall and at once noticed that all the room doors were open, yet following her regular practice she had shut them before going out. Looking into the drawing room, she saw a scene of confusion over by her writing desk. It was as clear as daylight then that burglars had forced an entry during her absence. Her first impulse was to go round all the rooms looking for the thieves, but then she decided that at her age it might be more prudent to have someone with her, so she went to fetch the porter from his basement. By this time her legs were beginning to tremble, so she sat down and accepted a cup of very strong tea, while he telephoned the police. Then, her composure regained, she was ready to setoff with the porter's assistance to search for any intruders who might still be lurking in her flat.They went through the rooms, being careful to touch nothing, as they did not want to hinder the police in their search for fingerprints. The chaos was inconceivable. She had lived in the flat for thirty years and was a veritable magpie at hoarding; and it seemed as though everything she possessed had been tossed out and turned over and over. At leastsorting out the things she should have discarded years ago was now being made easier for her. Then a police inspector arrived with a constable and she told them of her discovery of the ransacked flat. The inspector began to look for fingerprints, while the constable checked that the front door locks had not been forced, thereby proving that the burglars had either used skeleton keys or entered over the balcony. There was no trace of fingerprints, but the inspector found a dirty red bundle that contained jewellery which the old lady said was not hers. So their entry into this flat was apparently not the burglars' first job that day and they must have been disturbed. The inspector then asked the old lady to try to check what was missing by the next day and advised her not to stay alone in the flat for a few nights. 二、设计探究性的课堂练习与作业,可以呈现学生共性。

Why 和 because
使用疑问词 why 询问原因,使用单词 because 说明原因。

外出学习笔记

2013年9月份,我参加了在潍坊市举行的山东省第二届小学英语教学技能观摩会,作为一名年轻的英语教师,能有机会参加教研室为我们提供的这次学习机会,我觉得十分荣幸。

这次学习为我们小学英语老师提供了一次很好的学习平台,也留给了我满满的收获和深深的思考,现将自己的学习心得体会总结如下:
一、从专家报告中受到的启示
本次会议三天中分别由清华大学的催刚教授、英语辅导报创始人包天仁教授、国家外语教学研究中心副主任等做专题报告,他们分别从小学英语语音教学、小学英语课堂教学基本要求、小学英语教学的目标和任务等方面做了专题报告。

催刚教授在分析小学英语教学的现状中指出,基础教育各学科中小学英语教学较为薄弱,而其中语音教学最为人们忽视,原因一方面是语音教学意识不强,另一方面是受教师自身语音知识和素质限制。

崔教授对为什么要在小学阶段重视语音教学做了具体的阐述,还指出了小学英语教师应该给学生系统教授哪些语音知识、培养哪些语音技能,此外还结合中国小学生学习英语的特点介绍了一些语音教学好的方法。

其中提到的自然拼读法和我们学校之前福尼斯英语的音图教学法有很多相同之处,我们应该发挥我校在这一方面的优势,利用好、保留好福尼斯英语教学中好的方法,为我校探索和实践英语语音教学服务。

包天仁教授从小学英语课堂教学的问题出发,分析和阐述了小学英语课堂教学的基本要求。

他从八个方面分析了小学英语课堂教学目前存在的主要问题,针对以上问题提出了课堂教学要注意的事项和要做到的基本要求。

包教授提倡“四位一体”的英语教学法,要求教师在课堂上必须是直接的、公开的、显性的传授知识,反对交际法中以听说为主、不重视语言点、语音语法知识的体验式学习,强调技能的基础是知识的习得。

包教授报告中的一些英语教学理念,使我不仅深刻地反思了自己的教学,也使我明白了教学要求我们要敢于质疑、敢于实践,要不断的学习和吸取更好的、更适合学生的教育教学方法。

二、从专家点评中得到的信息
本次会议比赛中,由来自全国各省市的教研员、一线优秀教师进行点评,在对三十几节参赛课的点评中,各省市教研员共同关注的有以下四个方面:一是关注学生的学习过程而不是学习结果,即学生在课堂上是怎样学习的、怎样学会的,教师是如何引导学生学习、练习、消化和应用的;二是关注学生学习策略的培养,在不同的课型和教学模式中,教师是如何培养学生听、说、读、写等学习策略的,有没有引导学生的细节和步骤;三是关注学生的语音学习,在教学的过程中教师是否注重语音知识和技能的讲解和培养;四是注重课堂的实效性,主张英语课堂教学要平时、有效,而不是花哨、热闹。

三、从参赛课中寻找到的不足
本次会议中有10名教师进行了优秀课说课展评,32名教师进行了基本功比赛。

通过认真听课和分析,我发现自己存在的不足还很多,主要有以下两个方面:一是缺乏英语语言系统性知识,要加强对英语语音学、英语教学法等方面的系统性学习,只有全面的、有体系的掌握知识,才能准确的把握教学的目标,才能站在学生终生英语语言学习的角度去思考小学阶段的英语学习;二是对先进的英语语言教学理论了解不够,平时教学过程中立足自己的课堂,只关注了自己身边有限的、已知的方式方法,没有积极的通过各种信息渠道去获得最新的、先进的理念来引导自己的教学。

以上是我本次外出学习的一些心得体会,我将与全组成员继续进行研讨与反思,加强学习,积极改进。
