Unit 5 Look at the monkeys.单元计划一、教材分析本单元在Unit 4的基础上，以动物正在做什么为话题，继续学习动词-ing形式。

内容紧贴学生的兴趣实际，语言材料真实具体，让学生乐学易学，通过对动物动作描述，加深学生对动物的了解，培养学生热爱动物的情感。

3）能够了解Pronunciation部分字母a和字母组合ar, sm, sl的发音规律及其例词的读音。

4）能够理解let’s chant部分的内容。

3.情感、策略、文化等有关目标1）培养学生热爱动物，热爱大自然的良好情感。

三．教学重难点本单元的重点是动词的ing形式和听、说、认、读句型“What is it doing? It’s V＋ing. What is she doing? She’s V＋ing. What are they doing?”及回答“They are V＋ing”；难点是句型在情景中的活用。

所以在课堂活动的设计上既充分考虑全班学生的语言接受能力，又要兼顾学生个性的差异，使不同层次的学生通过本节课的训练都有不同程度的提高。

四、教学策略依据新课标的教学理念，遵循以学生为中心、以兴趣为支点、以交际为目的的原则，运用任务驱动、合作互动、情景体验、交流评价等教学策略，主要采用了以下的教与学的方式及方法：（1）情景教学法：通过创设学生熟悉的，与日常生活相接近的生活情景，让学生更容易接受新知，并在情景中运用语言。
