Around 80 examples of failed products, business and ideas are showed in the newly opened museum in Sweden. It is to celebrate modern history’s 75
designs ---from Coca-Cola Blak, a coffee-inspired drink, to Bic pens made just for women.
Besides showing long-forgotten failure, founder Dr. Samuel West is on a task to help us learn from our mistakes. Samuel set up the museum after growing 76 success stories. He said understanding bad design could be more valuable than 77 good design.
“Most of a ll creative projects fail, and learning is the only way to turn failure into success.” according to the museum’s website. “I hope that visitors take home two 78: that failure is connected with success, and that they should understand the importance of le arning from failure,” said Dr. West.
“The purpose of the museum is to show that creativity requires failure,” Dr. West said as he introduced some of the products in a video. “If you are afraid of failure, then you can’t create.” So the organizations will not ignore(无视) them and pretend they 79 happened.
Many of the museum’s items were available online. West believed that 80 products have little in common
with one another. One of the items, for example, is a frozen beef lasagna(意式千层面) made by Colgate(Yes, the company that makes toothpaste). West described this as a classical case of “brand extension failure.”
A collection of nine objects from the museum is our tour. The traveling collection of failures will then visit Los Angeles, New York, Shanghai and Tokyo in 2018 and 2019.
History may be written by the winners, but we should not ignore the losers. At least, that’s what the Museum of Failure wants us to believe.

With more and more holidays and festivals around us,whatdo you enjoy most?Do you remember
the last time you spent Chinese New Yearwith yourfamily or friends?
Nowadays someChineseare complainingonline that Western holidaysarebad forChinese culture. They are calling for holidayslike Christmas and Halloween to be stopped because the young people seem to enjoy celebrating them and are forgetting about some of China's more traditional holidays. So, I am going to tell the truth --"Welike these holidays because weget gifts and they are more fun. "
We go to ten different family dinners during the Chinese New Year holiday periodjust to receive red packets. If nobody wasgiving them out, we would.yell and complain, refusing to stay at home. Similarly, We like Christmas;becausewe get presents and weenjoy Halloween becauseof the free candy. Moreover, getting to dress up and scare people is great fun, and pumpkin carving is an activity that peopleof all ages can enjoy.
Traditional holidays are important because they remind us of our history and culture. However, some of
our traditions just aren't that interesting to young people. It is out-of- date itself, for all holiday traditions must remain the same as they were .hundreds orthousands of years ago. So it might be time to create some new holiday traditions.

The risk-taking, adventure-loving grandmother jumped from the South Australian skyat 4,267 meters. She kept a firm smile on her face. In her dive, Ms. O'Shea was at thespeed of 220 kilometers per hour. This is a success for a woman who still drives and livesby herself.
She was doing this to raise money for some disease research, after her daughter passedaway from the disease several years ago. "This is a way to raise
money. We must find asolution for this disease," said Ms. O'Shea.
Before her beating the world record,, the record was set by UK-based Vernon Hayes, who jumped 4,572 meters from a plane when he was also 101 years old.
This isn't the first time the active granny has performed a history-making jump. Ms.O'Shea surprised her family when she jumped from a plane in 2016.
