吃元宵
• 元宵是元宵节的特色食品。据 说,元宵是因汉武帝时期的一 位名叫元宵的宫女而得名。元 宵是一种带馅儿的甜食,是由 糯米粉加上甜的馅料制成。 • Yuanxiao is the special food for the Lantern Festival. It is believed that Yuanxiao is named after a palace maid, Yuanxiao, of Emperor Wu Di of the Han Dynasty. Yuanxiao is a kind of sweet dumpling, which is made with sticky rice flour filled with sweet stuffing. • 返回
春节禁忌
• 春节里边有很多禁忌,你 初一这一天最好不要扫地, 要扫地的话,你要从门口 往门里扫,从外往里扫, 因为这些垃圾(被人们认 为)都是财富。 • There are many taboos during the Spring Festival. One should not sweep on the first day of the first lunar month. If you sweep on that day, you should sweep from outdoors to indoors, but not from indoors to outdoors.
元宵节
• 每年农历的正月十五日,春节刚过,迎来 的就是中国的传统节日--元宵节。 • The Lantern Festival falls on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month, usually in February or March in the Gregorian calendar. As early as the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 25), it had become a festival with great significance.

• 在贴春联的同时,一些人 家要在屋门上、墙壁上、门楣 上贴上大大小小的“福”字。 为了更充分地体现这种向往和 祝愿,有的人干脆将“福”字 倒过来贴,表示“幸福已 到”“福气已到”。 • The Chinese character "fu" (meaning blessing or happiness) is a must. • 春联也叫门对、春贴、 对联、对子、桃符等,它 以工整、对偶、简洁、精 巧的文字描绘时代背景, 抒发美好愿望,是我国特 有的文学形式。 • All the door panels will be pasted with Spring Festival couplets, highlighting Chinese calligraphy with black characters on red paper.
猜灯谜
• 猜灯谜也是元宵节活动的 一个基本组成部分。灯笼 的所有者将谜语写在一张 纸条上,然后将纸条展示 在灯笼上。 • "Guessing lantern riddles"is an essential part of the Festival. Lantern owners write riddles on a piece of paper and post them on the lanterns. • 返回

看烟火
• 很多家庭在春节时会留下一 部分烟花等着元宵节放。当 新年的第一轮圆月升上夜空 时,人们都会因燃放的烟火 和空中的明月而兴奋。 • On the night when the first full moon enters the New Year, people become really intoxicated by the imposing fireworks and bright moon in the sky.Most families spare some fireworks from the Spring Festival and let them off in the Lantern Festival.
年糕
• 春节吃年糕,“义取年胜 年,籍以祈岁稔。”寓意 万事如意年年高。 • Southern Chinese eat niangao (Fra Baidu bibliotekew Year cake made of glutinous rice flour) on this occasion, because as a homophone, niangao means "higher and higher, one year after another." • 返回
