Step1: Revision and leading-in Greet the class as usual. Show some pictures and ask students to make sentences with when/while. Step 2 Practice Make a survey: Have students to read and remember the sentences of Grammar Focus by themselves, and then have them work in groups to sum up the usage of the past progressive tense and adverbial clauses with when and while.
