Pro600 Wood Fired Oven User ManualCongratulations on your new wood fired oven! You are almost ready to start cooking, pls take a few moments to review these safety guidelines and instructions Pls ensure that you have carefully read all instructions fully before installing and using thisappliance. Failure to follow these instructions will invalidate your warranty.Safety guidelinesCombustible guidelinesPls keep children and pets at a safe distant at all times . While operating your oven will reach very high temperatures.Alw ays use protective heat resistant gloves to handle tools and pots.Never put your hand or arm into the oven when lit , unless you are wearing adequate heat resistant gloves.Beware of flying sparks from the mouth of the oven . Ensure that no combustible materials are within range of your oven at any time.Do not close the oven’s door while there is fire with flames inside the oven . Closing the door will cut off oxygen to the fire, eventually causing a sudden fire eruption when the door is removed and oxygen flows into the oven again.Do not alter the oven in any way , it has been designed in order to optimize its safety and functionality.Do not burn rubbish or flammable fluids in your oven .Always use natural untreated firewood , never pressure treated or painted wood such as old fence posts. We advise that you try to use silver birch.Do not use charcoal, pellets, chipped wood products or sappy wood such as pine within your oven.Never use any type of accelerant , such as petrol, paraffin or similar products. These are extremely dangerous and can lead to explosions within your oven.Benefits of cooking with fireWhen cooking with fire is essential to start by making a fire that allow the oven to reach high temperature. Once the oven is heated the refractory brick floor becomes a radiator for the heat, enabling food to cook from underneath as well as from above. In your oven the fire and smoke will be drawn through the oven and across the food as it cooks, adding an incredible flavour to your cooking. This is something impossible to achieve when cook -ing by other means.Heat will allow food to cook, while flames will roast it. The balance between the heat within the oven and the flames present is the key to a perfect result.Wood fired pizzas have a characteristic crispy base and slightly roasted toppings. This happens as the refractory brick floor is very hot and flames are present within the oven. Carawela’s ovensaabComponents & assemblyCarawela’s Minimo Oven comes with the following components:achieve very high temperatures easily (usually within 15 minutes), so you’ll be able to cook pizzas extremely quickly (2-3 minutes), which means you can cater for a lot of people in a short period and at a fraction of the cost of a barbeque.Cooking meat, fish, vegetables or bread becomes easy once you mastered the balance between heat generated by embers (allow for slow cooking) and flames (more intense heat that roasts). Food susceptible of liberating juices (fish, meat, etc.) should be cook in deep tins.6 - Your oven is ready!Thermometer 1un Burning wood rack 1un Refractory bricks 4un Chimney tube 1un Chimney top 1un Door 1un Oven 1unIn order to have your new oven ready to cook you just need to get the components together (to screw chimney’s components you will need a screwdriver):1 - Insert thermometer2 - Insert refractory bricks and burning wood rack3 - Fit chimney’s tube and then screw4 - Fit and screw chimney’s topLighting instructions1 - Build a tower of kindling over a natural firelighter in the middle of the refratory stone, towards the front of the oven;2 - Set light to the firelighter and ensure that the kindling lights as the fire builds;3 - Keep adding kindling pieces to the fire (pls respect safety guidelines) every couple of minutes to help the fire gain size and heat; after a few minutes the fire should have built to a reasonable size and the heat should now be quite intense (when you are unable to hold your hand any closer than about 9” / 23cm from the mouth of the oven);4 - Allow the fire to keep building for a further5 minutes (keep feeding it) and the fire should then be ready to push to the back of the oven using the embers rake;5 - Once the fire has been pushed back, add around 3 or 4 pieces of quality wood (pls respect the combustible guidelines), we recommend pieces of around 6” x 1” / 15 x 2,5cm;6 - You should now have a good bed of red embers along with a healthy flame and are now ready to start cooking;7 - Every 15 minutes or so, you will see that the flame is starting to die. If you wish to keep cook-ing, simply add 3-4 more 6” / 15cm logs accordingly in order to maintain a healthy fire and heat;8 - The air flow regulation on the door allows to control the amout of air that goes in the oven and feeds the fire, the air flow regulation in the chimney tube allows to control the amount of hot air and smoke that comes out of the oven, these regulations are the way you can adjust the inside temperature;9 - Use the pizza peel to introduce and remove pizzas from the oven and lightly dust the peel with flour or semolina in order to prevent the pizzas from sticking to the peel.Maintenance- Over time (as is the case of any wood fired oven), the top of the opening and the door on your oven can become black as the soot from the fire builds up. This is very easy to reduce by simply cleaning the oven opening with soap and water and a soft sponge;- The external skin of your oven can also be cleaned using soap and water and a soft sponge when needed;- The floor of the oven should be cleared of ashes and embers when fully cold. Once you have removed the embers, please clean the refractory brick by using a brush to dust it down and remove any embers residue. Doing this will keep the refratory brick of your oven in the best condition and will ensure that your oven will be ready for use when you come to use it next time. It is perfectly acceptable to turn the refractory brick over between uses;- Before storing the oven for a long period apply WD-40 or paraffin wax, using a cloth or cotton buds, to the exterior metal surfaces of the oven to protect against corrosion;- When not in use the oven should be covered or shielded from the elements.Do not use cleanser containing acids, turpentine or xylene.Do not use metal brush or abrasive cleaners on the oven as the surfaces can get scratched.Do not use the refractory brick wet as it absorbed moisture, causing it to crack (whichdoes not diminish brick’s ability to cook).Beware when disposing of ashes before they have fully cooled down (natural cooling can take up to 24 hours). If you need to remove the ashes from the oven in order to speed up cooling process:1 - put on some protective gauntlet gloves to protect your hands and arms;2 - get a square edged metal tray (a roasting tin works well) and hold it against the mouth ofthe oven;3 - pull the embers with the embers rake into the metal tray;4 - place the tray onto the floor (not on a combustible surface) and pour cold water onto theembers so that all the heat is doused out.Warranty conditionsWarranty requests will be valid only upon presentation of purchase receipt to dealer. Warranty covers damages to the oven’s finish within 30 days from the date of purchase, and only if the oven has not yet been fired.Warranty is considered void in the following circumstances:- small defects and slight imperfections, as significant manual labour is involved in the making;- defects arising from improper or careless use and wrong installation;- color alteration and corrosion and rust formation resulting from exposure to atmospheric agents or improper use o chimica products;- defects resulting from physical alteration, improper or intentional damage;- damages resulting from lack of regular maintenance;- damages caused by transport;- damages arising from circumstances beyond our control;- normal wear of parts;- costs for assembly and delivery of parts under warranty. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of damaged parts resulting from normal use and maintenance.。

Overfillingthe fuel tray like shownabove (in photo) candamage your ovenFuel Temperature BenefitsChimney baffle and ceiling ventThe easiest way to regulate temperature in Ooni Karu 16 is through fuel management. The inbuilt chimney baffle and ceiling vents also allow for adjustments to be made to airflow and heat distribution through the oven.Open chimney baffle and ceiling vent - increases the draw of air through the oven, creating more powerful flames and an increased heat.Closed ceiling vent and open chimney baffle - slows the heat escape and allows for a billowing smoke effect before heat leaves through the side channels.Closed chimney baffle - reduces the draw of air and flames.Great for low-and-slow cooks. more time to cook.1.2.3.11. Start with 3-6 small pieces of wood in your grate and stack carefully. Ooni Premium Hardwood or similar hardwood kindling is perfect for this. Light with Ooni Firestarters.SizeWe recommend pieces of wood approximately 20cm / 8”.232. Refuel when the wood has mainly burnt to embers but before all visible flames have disappeared.3. Add fuel little and often and do not overfill - wood must not overflow the grate. It is normal to see smoke when cooking with wood. Ooni Karu16 will burn cleanly and with minimal smoke when running atoptimum temperatures.11. Start with 1-2 handfuls of charcoal in your grate and lightwith Ooni Natural Firestarters.A combination of charcoal and wood is a great way to cook inOoni Karu 16. You can achieve a steady base temperature witha bed of lump charcoal before adding wood for a burst of heatand wood-fired flavor.2. Ooni Karu 16 is not ready to cook when the charcoal is black and producing smoke. When your charcoal is glowing white with a red centre, it is ready to cook.3. Top up little and often to maintain a good base temperature. Always leave enough room for airflow through the grate.231charcoal, the flames will be smaller. Add a small piece of kindling 2 or 3 minutes before you bake your pizza to achieve the flames as in image 1.Ooni Karu 16 is not ready to cook a 60-second pizza when the fuel tray looks like this. If this is your scenario, gradually build up a flame using smaller pieces of kindling, allowing for good airflow through the grate. Always give new fuel enough time to burn properly before you start cooking.2It is perfectly normal for Ooni Karu 16 to produce smoke and leave a layer of soot on the inside of the oven. Excess soot can be a sign of incomplete airflow or wet fuel. Soot can be wiped down with a dry paper towel after you have finished cooking.1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.1 235 461.2.3.4.56.7.MethodPlace two-thirds of the water in a large bowl. In a saucepan or microwave, bring the other third of water to boil, then add it to the cold water in the bowl. This creates the correct temperature for activating yeast. Whisk the salt and yeast into the warm water. If mixing by hand:Place the flour in a large bowl and pour the yeast mixture into it. Stir with a wooden spoon until a dough starts to form. Continue mixing by hand until the dough comes together in a ball. Turn it onto a lightly floured surface and knead with both hands for about 10 minutes, until it is firm and stretchy. Return the dough to the bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and leave to rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours. If mixing with a mixer:Fit the mixer with the dough hook and place the flourin the mixer bowl. Turn the machine on at a low speedand gradually add the yeast mixture to the flour. Once combined, leave the dough to keep mixing to at the same speed for 5-10 minutes, or until the dough is firm and stretchy. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and leave torise in a warm place for 1-2 hours. When the dough has roughly doubled in size, divide it into 3 or 5 equal pieces, depending on what size you want your pizzas to be (either 16 inches or 12 inches wide). Place each piece of dough in a separate bowl or tray, cover with plastic wrap and leave to rise for another 20 minutes, or untildoubled in size.MethodPlace the oil in a pan over a medium heat. When warm, add the garlic and fry until softened but not brown.Pour the can of plum tomatoes into the pan and use a masher or fork to crush them down.Add all the remaining ingredients, then simmer on a low heat for 20 minutes, or until the flavor has deepened and the sauce has thickened slightly. This sauce can be used straight away, or placed in an airtight container and stored in the fridge for up to a week, ready to be used as required.MethodLight up your Ooni, then get ready to prepare yourpizza while it heats up.Using a small amount of flour, dust your Ooni pizza peel. Stretch the pizza dough ball out to 12” and lay it out on your pizza peel. Using a large spoon or ladle, spread the sauce evenly across the pizza dough base.Next, add the cheese and slide the pizza into thepizza oven.Slide the pizza off the peel and into your Ooni pizza oven, making sure to rotate the pizza regularly.Once cooked, remove the pizza from the oven.Add a small handful of fresh basil to garnish.MethodAdd the flour to a mixing bowl. In another bowl, add the yeast, salt and oil to the water, mix together and pour over the flour.Using an electric mixer, mix the dough on a low to medium speed for 5 minutes, or until all the ingredients are fully combined and you have a smooth, silky dough with good elasticity.Cover the bowl with plastic wrap (clingfilm) or a cloth and leave to prove on your kitchen counter at room temperature for 2-4 hours, or until the dough has doubled in size. If you prefer to cold prove the dough, at this point you would refrigerate the dough for up to 72 hours, then remove the dough from the fridge at least a few hours before you plan to cook it; allow the dough to come back up to room temperature before continuing the following steps.A few hours before you plan to cook your pizza, coat the baking pan with a light layer of olive oil. This step is really important as it will help the pizza crust to caramelize andgive the base a satisfying crunch!Transfer the dough into the pan and ‘dimple’ it with your fingers, shaping and pushing the dough into the corners. Cover the dough and leave it to rest for about 30 minutes.Once the dough has relaxed and become more pliable, dimple the dough again using your fingers, continuing to push it towards the corners of the pan. You might need to repeat this rest-and-dimple step a few times in order to get the dough to completely cover the base of the pan.Sprinkle half the cheese on top of the dough, then cover and leave the dough to rest again for 30 minutes to an hour at room temperature.Once the dough is undergoing this final proving step withthe cheese, fire up your Ooni pizza oven to 840°F / 450°C. Preheat the oven for at least 30 minutes, as the stone baking board needs to be really hot to ensure the heat in the stone bakes the bottom of the pizza properly.Once the dough’s finished resting, add the remaining toppings – add the rest of the cheese, then the pepperoni, and then three stripes of sauce on top. Make sure to sprinkle the cheese all the way to the outer edges to really add to that delicious crunch.Check the oven is up to 840°F / 450°C, then let the flame size reduce. Place the pan right at the front of your Ooni so it’s not too close to the flame. Leave the pizza door on the oven while it’s cooking. At the start, rotate the pan every couple of minutes so the bottom bakes evenly as it draws heat from the stone. Bake the pizza for 10-15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the crust and the size of the pan being used.MethodBefore you’re ready to cook, allow the steaks to come upto room temperature. This ensures a clean, even cook throughout.Next, season your steak by gently patting the salt and pepper into the meat with a little olive oil.Fire up your Ooni pizza oven. Aim for 950°F / 500°Con the stone baking board inside. You can check the temperature of your oven quickly and easily using the Ooni Infrared Thermometer. The super-high temperature isvital to achieve the perfect steak. Why? It allows important chemical reactions to take place, caramelizing the fats and sugars and ensuring a rich and succulent cut.Place your seasoned cast iron Dual-Sided Grizzler Plate in the oven to preheat. After 10 minutes, remove the plate. Using tongs, carefully lay your steaks across the grizzler ribs. Put the plate back in the oven. For a 20mm cut steak, cook for around 90 seconds on each side. Flip and rotate the steak to ensure an even heat distribution in the hotter zonesof the oven.Using a meat thermometer, check the temperature inside your steak. For rare, aim for 125°F / 52°C.For medium rare, aim for 135°F / 57°C. You can use increments of 10°F for increasing levels of doneness. Once cooked to your desired level, remove the Dual-Sided Grizzler Plate and transfer the steaks to a wooden cutting board. Add a knob of butter, cover with aluminum foil, and let the meat rest for roughly the time it took to cook. This allows the juices to settle evenly, ensuring full flavor with every bite. Finally, serve. For maximum tenderness, slice acrossthe grain of the steak with a sharp knife.Care instructionsWhere should I store Ooni Karu 16?While Ooni Karu 16 is happy to live outdoors, we recommend that you store Ooni Karu 16 indoors when it is not in use. In a real situationat the start up the controllers will show the ambient temperature, if the unit has been not operating previously. However, both temperatures should start decreasing in order to reach the Set point target temperature (whose typical value is 37/39°F [2-3°C]). The COOLING LED will notify whether the units is requiring cooling (led ON) or it is satisfied (led OFF). At a certain point the controller will turn on a FAN LED as well, meaning that the evaporator (internal) fan is running .7. During this delay both VALVE A and VALVE B will keep closed. Nevertheless, compressor may start up in order to pump down the system. NOTE: Pressure in the low and high side may equalize after a long time of no operation. Therefore suction pressure may be higher than the pressure switch cutout limit, causing the compressor to run soon after the power cord is connected. This may or may not happen during the first minute of operation, depending on the period of shut off. TIMER DOES NOT CONTROL THE OVEN.Carefully unpack the oven and inspect immediately for shipping damages. Your countertop oven was shipped in a carton designed to give maximum protection in normal handling. It was thoroughly inspected before leaving the factory and the carrier accepted and signed for it. File any claims for shipping damage or irregularities with the carrier.Legs4” legs are provided. To install legs follow these steps:• Place the unit on a counter or a flat surface.• Tilt unit carefully onto its back.• Screw legs into the bottom of the unit in holes provided.• Carefully tilt oven up onto the legs and adjust the bottom of the legs to level the unit.Initial start upAfter the electrical connections have been made, your oven will need approximately 2 to 3 hours to burn off.The following steps must be completed before your new oven is ready to use.• Place the oven in a well-ventilated area.• Open the door and remove any instructions or samples shipped with the unit.Make sure the oven cavity is empty and the baking decks are properly installed.• With the oven door open, turn the temperature knob to 400°F for 1 hour.• Close the oven door. Increase the temperature to 500°F for at least 1½ hour. This procedure will dry out the insulation and deck material and will help to ensure best baking results.PIZZA BAKING: Only pizza and bread products can be baked with direct contact with oven decks. All other products must be placed in pans. Your Cecilware countertop pizza oven has been designed to bake pre-baked crusts with ease. The temperature range for pizza baking is usually higher than for general baking.Pizza should cook at approximately 500°F to 575°F depending on the individual product. Allow the pizza to bake until the cheese bubbles and bottom is brown.Do not keep the oven door open too long when loading since heat will escape, resulting in slower baking. When production requirements are low, keep the temperature low to prevent the bottoms from burning. As demand increases, temperature should be raised for quicker recovery time. Fresh dough generally requires a slightly lower baking temperature and longer bake time than defrosted pre-baked crusts.General baking tips:• Pizza crust should be fully defrosted before baking.• Wet areas on the bottom of a pizza will cause them to stick to the deck. Avoid spills.• For fresh dough pizza (220V ovens only), flour or corn meal on the peel will prevent sticking and ease placement of the pizza on the deck.• Increasing bake temperatures during heavy production helps in maintaining temperature; after the rush is over reduce temperature to prevent burning.• Heavily topped pizza requires longer bake time at lower temperature.• Rotation of the pizza during the cooking cycle is highly recommended.• Placing a screen under a pizza will allow the top to cook without overcooking the bottom.• Frequently scrape and brush off decks to remove burnt residue, which can cause an off flavor to the product.Residue build-up can slow bake times.• Clean heavily soiled pizza decks by scraping down, brushing off, removing from oven, turning over and putting back. This procedure will burn off the decks and should be repeated every 6 months. Do not use water to clean the decks as this could cause the decks to crack.• Using shiny pans or screens will produce products with light bottom color. All pans and screens should be seasoned before use.4Cecilware ®Countertop Pizza OvenWARNING:prong (grounding) plug for your protection against shock hazard and should be plugged directly into a properly grounded three-prong receptacle. Poêle à bois Symphonia référence 6115 44L ’o r i e n t a t i o n d e l a b u s e e s t e n p o s i t i o n v e r t i c a l e e n s o r t i e d ’u s i n e .P a s s a g e e n p o s i t i o n h o r i z o n t a l e :- D ém o n t e r l e d éf l e c t e u r- D ém o n t e r l a t a q u e (2 v i s ) - D ém o n t e r l a b u s e (4 v i s ) - D ém o n t e r l e t a m p o n i n t ér i e u r (4v i s ) - R e m o n t e r l a b u s e e n p o s i t i o n h o r i z o n t a l e (4 v i s ) - R e m o n t e r l e t a m p o n i n t ér i e u r s u r l e d e s s u s d e l ’a p p a r e i l (4 v i s ) - R e m o n t e r l a t a q u e (2 v i s ) - R e m o n t e r l e d éf l e c t e u r - P o s i t i o n n e r l e t a m p o n e x t ér i e u rT i C h a n g e m e n t d e l ’o r i e n t a t i o n d e l a b u s e。

Open fires and wood-burning stovesA practical guideOpen fires and wood-burning stoves have risen in popularity over recent years. Smoke from burning causes air pollution which harms the health of millions. We can work together to improve the quality of the air we breathe. This leaflet provides simple guidance for those that need to use wood burning stoves or open fires to reduce environmental and health impacts as well as benefiting you directly by:l Maximising efficiency, meaning you burn less fuel l Reducing the risk of chimney firesl Reducing smoke and carbon monoxide which can be harmful to you and your neighboursApril 2023Fuel useConsider burning less Think about why you are lighting your fire a s well as how much fuel you use. Is it necessary? If your appliance is secondary heating consider burning less. If your house is already warm enough and you don’t need to burn, not burning is the simplest way o f reducing your costs and minimising your impact.Buy ‘Ready to Burn’ fuel If you want to burn immediately look for the logo as a guarantee of good quality dry wood./firewood-ready-to-burn/Season freshly chopped wood before burning Wet or unseasoned wood, often sold in nets, is cheaper to buy, but it needs to be seasoned (dried) b efore burning. Wet wood contains moisture which creates smoke and harmful particulates w hen burned. This can damage your stove and chimney. It also means you’re losing out on heat for your home. Moisture meters are cheap and easy to use. Why not use one to check the moisture content of your logs before burning. Dry wood should have 20% moisture or less.If you use d to burn House coal, use approved solid fuels instead You can no longer bu y traditional house coal. Approved solid fuels produce less smoke compared to house-coal when burned. They can also be more efficient so cost you less money to heat your home . Look for products on the list of DefraDO NOT burn treated waste wood (eg old furniture, pallets or fence panels) or household rubbish Treated waste wood and household rubbish can emit harmful fumes and toxic pollutants, such are arsenic, into your home when burnt.Maintain your open fire/stove Let it dry for up to 2 years Regularly maintain and service your stove (eg annually)This means it will work better and will generate more heat f rom what you burn. Always operate your stove in line withthe manufacturer’s guidance and only burnpermitted fuels.Get your chimney swept regularly (up to twice a year) During use soot and tar build up in the chimney reducing t he efficiency and increasing the risk of chimney fires. It is better to use a qualified chimney sweep who will be able to advise you on good burning practices for your open fire or stove. For example: avoid slumbering your stove overnight.Sticking to these simple rules help you you to reduce smoke and carbon monoxide and ensure optimum efficiency and safety.Choose the right appliance Wood-burning stoves produce much less smoke than open fires. If you are thinking of buying a stove then consider purchasingan Ecodesign stove. These have emission and efficiency setstandards and any new stove placed on the market in the UKmust now be Ecodesign compliant. In smoke control areas, you can only burn unauthorised fuels, such as wood, on Defra exempt appliances. These have beenrigorously tested and demonstrate low smoke emissions. You can only burn unauthorised fuels in Ecodesign stoves if theyalso appear on the list of Defra exempt appliances.üExemptapplianceKnow the law in Smoke Control Areas Smoke control area rulesA smoke control area is a legally defined area where you cannotemit a substantial amount of smoke from a chimney. You can be issued a financial penalty of between £175 to £300if you break this rule. You must not buy an unauthorised fuel for use in a smoke controlarea unless it is to be used in an exempt appliance. You can be fined up to £1,000 if you break this rule.To find out which areas of England are designated smoke control areas, please visit the smoke control area map. Please note, the data on this map is indicative only and you should always contact your local authority to confirm if you live in a smoke control area. https:///find-local-councilSMOKECONTROLAREASOutdoor burning Be considerate towards your neighbours when lighting bonfires, outdoor burners and BBQs and always take care not to cause a smoke nuisance.Dispose of garden waste through your Local Council’s disposal scheme or consider composting it.Remember most garden waste will not be dry and can emit a lot of smoke.Benefitsof following these steps By following these simple steps, you will reduce the harmful effects that are caused to you and your neighbours by inhaling smoke; including breathing problems such as asthma attacks. What you can do What you can do to help reduce the harmful effects from smoke: l Think if you have to burnl Burn seasoned wood (including Ready to Burn) on a low emission appliance l Maintain stoves and sweep chimneysl Install a carbon monoxide monitor, this will alert you to dangerous fumes and reduce your risk of carbon monoxide poisoningl For more good practice tips, check advice on or /reviews/wood-burning-stoves/article/guides。

14” x 24” Wall Tent StoveModel – CS14Recommended Tent Size - 10’ x 12’ Min – 14’ x16’ Max WARNING: Failure to follow the instructions in thismanual could result in damage, injury, or death.Read all instructions before using this stove.WARNING: Tent wood stoves are designed for use in tents and outside only. Do not use stove in a cabin, workshop, etc. Insure you have fireproof material underneath the stove and have proper heat standoff distance from walls.WARNING: Keep all flame and heat sources away from the tent fabric. Many tents are flame resistant. This does not mean they are fire proof. The material will burn if left in continuous contact with a flame source. Do not insert the stove pipe directly through the fabric. A rubber military style stove jack must be used. If a rain fly is being used on the tent a rubber military style stove jack must be used in both the rain fly and the tent.DANGER: Always leave a window cracked or door partly opened when using this stove. A minimum opening of 20 square inches is required for adequate ventilation.WARNING: NEVER put your stove on a tent floor or other flammable material.WARNING: Stove sparks will burn holes in a fire treated roof. A spark arrestor will prevent most sparks from reaching your roof. The use of a rain fly with properly fitted stove jack will also help prevent damage to your tent.WARNING: NEVER USE FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS TO START A FIRE IN YOUR STOVE.WARNING: Never allow your stove to get so hot that your stove or stovepipe becomes red. A red hot stove will cause the metal to warp. Reduce airflow on your door air intake to reduce the stove temperature.Setup InstructionsAlways ensure your stove is on a level surface to avoid any possible problems.Have a nonflammable area in front of your stove in case sparks or wood falls out of your stove when you open the door. This stove is designed so all accessories including an option water tank may be stored inside of the fire box.1. Remove all components from the inside of the fire box.2. Turn the stove upside down and install the legs. Tighten thewing screw on each leg to hold in place.3. Stand the stove upright on its legs. The legs may be adjustedto level the stove or compensate for uneven ground.4. Place the woodgrate in the bottomof the fire box.5. Attach the two wire shelves to the sides of thefire box by inserting the ends of the shelf into thetubes on either side of the stove.6. Installing the damper - There are 5 sections to the chimney. Each gets larger indiameter as they go up. The first section has two holes for installing the damper. Firstremove the wire rod from the damper. Hold the damper down inside the chimney andinsert the rod first through the hole in the pipe, through the damper, and out the holeon the opposite side of the pipe. Take note that when damper rod handle is horizontalthe damper is closed. When the damper rod handle is vertical the damper is open.7. Installing the chimney pipe - Starting with the largest pipe first install the sparkarrestor over the top of the pipe. Then install this pipe into the next and so on until allfive pipes are assembled together. (If using the stove in windy conditions sheet metalscrews should be used to fasten the pipes together.) Once the chimney is assembledlift the chimney up through the stove jack in the tent and then install into the top of thestove. (Note: Depending on stove jack size some chimney sections may need to beinstalled down through the stove jack from the outside of the tent.)(Warning : The stove pipe should extend a minimum of 6” above the ridge of the tent.)Warning: Before using the stove in the tent for the firsttime the paint must be properly cured.Curing the paint - Set your new stove up in your backyardor driveway and burn wood in the stove for 1-2 hour to curethe paint.Using the damper supplied with the stove is strongly recommended. A damper makes your stove 10-15% moreefficient reducing the amount of wood you have to cut by10-15% if you use a damper.Warning: Keep the firebox portion of the stove aminimum of 2 feet away from the walls of the tent. Warning: Keep all combustible materials a minimumof 3 feet away from the stove.Warning: Maintain a 3 foot non flammable areaaround your stove. This 3 foot standoff prevents any flammables from catching fire due to the stove heat, prevents sparks from popping through the air intake openings andcatching flammables on fire and also in case sparks pop outwhen you open the stove door. The stove pipe should extend a minimum of 6” above theridge of the tent. This allows sparks to blow away from thetent roof reducing the possibility of spark holes being burntin the roof.Always use the included spark arrester. When properlyused this device reduces the amount of sparks coming out ofthe stove pipe. Check spark arrestor daily to insure there isno buildup of creosote blocking the smoke from goingthrough the spark arrestor. The spark arrestor must becleaned every 2-3 days to prevent clogging and reduce therisk of a chimney fire.Stove sparks will burn holes in a fire treated roof. A sparkarrestor will prevent most sparks from reaching your roof. The use of a rain fly with properly fitted stove jack will alsohelp prevent damage to your tent.To reduce smoke in your tent always open the stove doorslowly with the damper wide open. If you open the stove door quickly the smoke is drawn into the tent. The more you damper the stove pipe down or/and reduce the air intake on the stove door the more creosote build up you will have in the stove pipe and spark arrestor. If you get too much creosote in the stove pipe you can possibly have a fire in your stove pipe. When breaking camp, remove the creosote in your stove pipe by gently banging the stove pipes together to loosen the creosote. It is normal to periodically clean the spark arrestor every 2-3 days.WOOD FOR STOVES: Dry hardwoods burn the most efficiently and provide the most heat. If you use soft woods you will have to cut much more firewood and you will have more creosote buildup.CAMPING IN WINDY CONDITIONS: If using the stove in windy conditions, secure all sections of stove pipe at the joints and where the pipe attaches to the stove with sheet metal screws. Windy conditions will cause the stove pipe to loosen when the tent roof billows in the wind. Also stake down the front and back of your tent with the grommet on each end of your ridge to reduce movement of the tent.Never store your stove with ash in the firebox. The ash will draw moisture and your stove will rust.WATER HEATER: The stove is equipped with brackets for mounting a water tank to the side.。

The heated air naturally “seeks out” and penetrates cold spaces, warming the entire home evenly while “sealing” cracks, leaks and other drafty spots by preventing cold air infiltration. The Elite ™ ModelsUNMATCHED BEAUTYThe FireplaceX® Elite™ series is designed to meet your architectural needs by blending with the interior of your home rather than looking like an add-on.The controls for the fan, air adjustment and damper are subtly incorporated in the face of the unit itself for easy access. The standard heat-resistant finish for the doors and face is a rich metallic black. Your dealer can offer a wide assortment of decorative paint colors as well.NO FIREPLACE BURNSAS CLEAN AS A FIREPLACEX ®A source of heat for your home shouldn’t be a source of pollution for our environment. FireplaceX ® utilizes the latest catalytic technology to reduce emissions by 90% compared to conventional fireplaces. . Fig.
