利用所学单词和句型在具体情境中表演。
教学方法
1、情景运用法。
给学生创设生活化的情境,引导他们在运用交流中学习。
2、游戏记忆法。
在游戏中学习交流,使学生在愉快的氛围中学习记忆。
教具准备
1.教师准备教学过程中所需要的图片、声音、课件,
2.教师准备录音机及录音带。
教材分析和理解
本节课所学的的词语新词汇较多,principal, university student两个词读音较难。
本节课可以根据图片充分理解单词意思,并让学生充分应用。
特别是两首歌谣的学习,可以极大的提高学生的学习积极性。
教学过程
一.Warm-up(热身)
在本节课的教学中,我以口语交际训练做课前热身,既复习了上一节课的内容,又为新知识的学习作铺垫。
(1)日常口语练习,内容可参考如下:

(2) 问学生几个问题,引出本课重点内容。
具体会话可参考如下:

二. Presentation(新课呈现)
(1)教师介绍说: Rabbit has many new teachers in her school. Do you have new teachers? 引导学生根据实际情况描述新教师。
然后教师说:“今天我们将学习怎样描述新教师。
Sarah将为大家介绍几位新教师,大家在先看一看有哪些是新教师?
(2)出示一幅和蔼可亲的老人图片,问:What's she like?引导学生在回答时用上单词kind,进而出示一张严格的图片,引出单词principal strict 的教学。
再通过学生喜欢的卡通人物一休和其他人物图片进行单词university
student,smart,active...的教学。
在这个环节中,一休图片的出现吸引了学生的眼球,激发了学生的兴趣,集中了注意力,有效地促进了单词的学习。

三、实际操作
(1)Describe:利用Who's your math teacher? What's she/he like?进行某位教师的样貌描述。
(2)Guess:一位同学描述自己的某位老师,其他学生猜一猜是哪位教师。
这一部分既加强了句型单词的练习,又通过游戏的形式激发了学生对英语的进一步学习兴趣。
四、Let's chant的学习欣赏
播放Let's chant的歌谣,学生跟着录音学唱,进一步练习本节课的知识。
五、小结并布置homework
1、总结本节课的内容,并给表现优秀的学生或小组颁发奖品,学生掌声祝贺并鼓励未获胜小组下节课继续努力,为激活下节课气氛打下了基础。

教后反思:本课让学生动一动,说一说,演一演,学生兴致高。
难点在情景运用上,个别学生不能完整描述,要在教学中进行综合性强的活动,让学生从个别到综合,从而达到掌握个别的目的。
