Unit Four At the farm第一课时教学目标:1.能够听,说,读,写描述天气状况的单词cold、cool、hot、warm、weather。
2.掌握陈述天气状况的常用句型It’s warm / hot / cold / cool in ….,并能在现实生活中灵活运用,力求做到语调自然,语音准确,使用恰当。
教学重点: 词汇:cold、cool、hot、warm、weather句型:It’s warm / hot / cold / cool in ….;教学难点:天气情况的英语表达,单词weather的发音,以及本课时所学的重要句型在实际中的灵活运用。
教具准备:1.与本课时相关的教学挂图和配套录音。
2.一张中国地图以及本课时所需的单词卡片。
教学过程:(一)热身、复习(Warm-up/Revision)1.教师热情地和学生打招呼问好,通过PPT文件播放前面学的英语chant,师生共同拍手说唱。
熟悉欢快的儿歌能快速激发学生的学习热情,营造良好的英语学习氛围,把学生引领到英语学习的大课堂中来。
2.教师通过PPT资源给学生呈现出一幅图片,让学生仔细看图,然后根据图片内容,和小组成员合作编一个对话。
教师可以先示范,手指自己的衣服说:I am wearing a …. What are you wearing?引导学生说出自己穿的衣服的名称,如: a shirt、jeans、black shoes….(二)呈现新课(Presentation)1.教师说:It’s warm today.(指指外面) So we wear shirts or T-shirts. Today we are going to learn about theweather. Now let’s watch a weather report.教师通过媒体资源播放一段英文解说的天气预报。
待学生看完后,教师说:This is a weather report.同时呈现单词卡片,领读weather report(把卡片贴到黑板上)教师要注意提醒学生读weather时,th咬舌尖。
2.教师通过媒体资源给学生呈现播放Unit 4 Let’s learn A部分的课件,学生观看。
之后教师提问:Is it a weather report? 学生回答:Yes, it’s a weather report教师再问:Is it warmin Lhasa?点击句子It’s cool in Lhasa.引导学生答出:No. It’s cool in Lhasa.让更多的学生重复回答。
告诉学生拉萨位于我国西藏自治区,那里的天气很凉快,cool是形容天气凉快;而warm一词是形容天气暖和,北京的春天就是很温暖的。
教师说:It’s warm in Beijing.并引导学生跟读。
3.教师将单词卡warm、cool贴黑板,请部分学生朗读单词。
然后提问:Where is cool? Where is warm?启发学生回答:It’s cool in Lhasa. It’s warm in Beijing.4.教师鼓励学生用warm和cool描述我国其他城市的天气状况:It’s warm / cool in .…, 如果有不符合实际的叙述,教师可以用 It isn’t warm/cool in……进行简单纠正,从而为学生进一步的学习留下悬念。
5.教师请学生观察书中插图:并提问Which city can youfind?学生答出:Harbin、Hong Kong教师说:It’s cold in Harbin. It’s hot in Hong Kong.用体态语言解释hot和cold的意思。
领读单词(把卡片贴到黑板上)。
6.教师通过播放PPT中的图片,让学生在练习中区分和掌握这四个表示天气的单词。
教师要及时根据学生的学习反馈调整教学计划,保证学生扎实掌握。
7.教师说:It’s cool in Lhasa. It’s warm in Beijing. (三)趣味操练(Practice)1.教师通过媒体资源请学生用新学的单词和句型进行描述。
教师给与指导和帮助。
2.教师给学生播放PPT中的“猜一猜”,请学生两人一组根据图片上祖国各地的天气情况进行问答练习,练习句型和词汇。
3.教师播放PPT中的课时对点练习,让学生在练习中掌握新知。
(四)作业布置:listen to the tape.第二课时教学目标:1.能用上个课时所学的单词得体描述天气状况。
2.掌握常用句型Can I wear my…? Yes,you can./No, you can’t.并能在现实生活中灵活运用,力求做到语调自然,语音准确,使用恰当。
教学重点:词汇:cold、cool、hot、warm、wear、 can、 can’t 句型:Can I wear my…? Yes,you can./No, you can’t. 教学难点:1.能用上课时和本课时的四会词汇和句型,根据实际的天气情况表述着装情况。
2. Can I wear my…? 问答中的人称转换。
教学过程:(一)热身、复习(Warm-up / Revision)1.教师热情地和学生打招呼问好,并就上个课时所学的表示天气的词汇和句型做简单的Free Talk。
学生在口语练习中再现了上个课时的教学重点,且为下面的教学做了充分的准备。
2.教师播放媒体资源中学过的英语童谣《Is this your skirt》和学生一起拍手说唱,消除了学生的紧张情绪,在轻松的学习氛围中复习了服装类的单词,为本课时打下了很好的基础。
(二)呈现新课(Presentation)1.教师对学生说:“小朋友都会根据一年四季实际的天气情况加减衣服,那么这些要怎么样用英语来表达呢?”给学生呈现出先前学过的服装类的单词。
之后和学生一起根据天气冷暖的着装情况将这些服装分类,为下面即将学习的对话进行铺垫。
2.教师播放PPT资源,引导学生根据人物服装来猜一猜天气情况,复习单词:warm、hot、cool、cold。
3.教师根据当时情况说:It’s hot/warm. Can I wear my shirt (sweater, skirt, dress…)? 并引导学生回答:Yes,you can.或No, you can’t. 并进行板书。
教师反复重复该句子,出示单词卡片:wear,让学生朗读,并引导学生说出意思。
4.教师说:Mike has a new shirt. He likes it very much. Can he wear it? 接着播放Let’s talk部分教学资源,学生观看。
教师提问:Can Mike wear his new shirt?学生回答:No. 教师问:Why?学生回答:It’s cold.师问:Is it cold?学生回答:No, it’s warm.师问:Can Mike wear his new shirt? 学生回答:Yes. 师再问:Can Mike wear his T-shirt?学生回答: Yes. 教师引导学生在真实自然的交流中感知、理解、和运用所学的新的语言项目。
5.教师再播放一遍,一句一停,学生模仿跟读,教师对学生的语音、语调进行必要的指导。
之后教师请学生分角色朗读,表演对话。
教师可以先与一个学生进行示范性表演,以降低本项活动的难度。
(三)趣味训练(Practice)1.创新练习:根据所给情境两人一组编对话。
今天你要和同学去公园,和妈妈商量要穿什么衣服:A:It’s … Can I wear my…? B:Yes, you can. / No, you can’t. 学生分组汇报表演,教师进行适当评价。
这种源于真实生活的话题引起了学生的共鸣,激发了学生强烈的求知欲,促使学生在真实而又意义的语言交际中自然地学习和运用新的语言项目。
2.教师播放本单元的英语chant,让学生充分说说在儿歌中听到的句子或单词。
之后带领学生边做动作边跟节奏说唱歌谣。
(四)作业布置(homework)把今天我们学习的英语chant 表演给自己的爸爸妈妈看,然后和他们一起合作创新一个小chant,下节课上表演出来。
第三课时教学目标:1.继续学习有关服装的单词jeans,pants,socks,shoes2.掌握常用句型:It’s warm today. Let’s play football并能在现实生活中灵活运用,力求做到语调自然,语音准确,使用恰当。
教学重点:词汇:jeans,pants,socks,shoes句型:It’s warm today. Let’s play football教学难点:1.朗读、理解本单元A部分的对话。
2.课本四线格中句子的正确书写。
教学过程:(一)热身、复习(Warm-up / Revision)1.教师热情地和学生打招呼问好,并和学生一起拍手说唱上课时所学的英语chant.之后请几组同学到台前来展示自己和家长共同创新编排的小chant,教师给与肯定和指导,并对参与的同学给与一定形式的奖励,增强他们学习英语的自信心。
2.教师和学生就上两个课时所学的内容,做简单的Free Talk,在复习中为本课时的教学打下基础。
(二)呈现新课(Presentation)1.教师对学生说“It’s warm today. Zoom and Johnny want to play football. But Zoom can’t find his shoes.”Let’s see where his shoes are.播放媒体资源“Read and Write”,学生观看。
