第五组(建议用时:25分钟)阅读理解AWhoever enters my home for the first time will always be impressed with a small and white envelope. It is stuck among the branches of our Christmas tree. No name, no address. It has hung through the branches of our tree for the past 10 years or so.It all began because my husband Mike hated Christmas. He didn’t hate the true meaning of Christmas, but the commercial aspects of it: overspending, the crazy running around at the last minute to get a tie for Uncle Harry and the dusting powder for Grandma and the gifts given in desperation because you couldn’t think of anything else.Knowing he felt this way, I decided one year to ignore the usual shirts, sweaters, ties and so on. I reached for something special just for Mike. The inspiration came in an unusual way.Our son Kevin, who was 12 that year, was wrestling(摔跤) at the junior level at the school he attended and shortly before Christmas, there was a nonleague match against a team sponsored by an innercity church, mostly black. These youngsters, dressed in sports shoes so ragged that shoestrings seemed to be the only thing holding them together, presented a sharp contrast to our boys in their blue and gold uniforms and brand new wrestling shoes. As the match began, I was surprised to see that the other team was wrestling without headgear, a kind of light helmet designed to protect a wrestler’s ears. It was a luxury(奢侈) that the poor team obviously could not afford. Well, we ended up beating them. We took every weight class. And as each of their boys got up from the mat,he walked around in rags, holding his head high with a kind of street pride that couldn’t acknowledge defeat.Mike, seated beside me, shook his head sadly, “I wish just one of them could have won.”he said,“They have a lot of potential, but losing_like_this_could_take_the_heart_right_out_of_them.”Mike loved kids—all kids and he knew them, having coached little league football and baseball. That’s when the idea for his present came. That afternoon, I went to a local sporting goods store and bought a variety of wrestling headgears and shoes and sent them to the innercity church without leaving my name.On Christmas Eve, I placed the envelope on the tree, the note inside telling Mike what I had done and that this was his gift from me. His smile was the brightest thing about Christmas that year and in succeeding years. For each Christmas, I followed the tradition, one year sending a group of mentally disabled youngsters to a baseball game, another year a check to a pair of elderly brothers whose home had burned to the ground the week before Christmas, and so on.The envelope became the highlight of our Christmas. It was always the last thing opened on Christmas morning and our children, ignoring their new toys, would stand with wideeyed expectation as their dad lifted the envelope from the tree to reveal its contents. As the children grew, the toys gave way to more practical presents, but the envelope never lost its attraction. The story doesn’t end there. You see, we lost Mike. When Christmas rolled around,I was still so wrapped in grief that I barely got the tree up. But Christmas Eve found me placing an envelope on the tree, and in the morning, three more joined it. Each of our children had secretly placed an envelope on the tree for their dad.The tradition has grown and someday will expand even further with our grandchildren standing around the tree with wideeyed expectation watching as their fathers take down the envelope. Mike’s spirit, like the Christmas spirit, will always be with us.1.According to the passage, Mike hated Christmas because ________.A.he didn’t fully understand the true meaning of ChristmasB.he didn’t like people spending too much money on presentsC.he disliked receiving the same gifts like shirts or sweaters every year D.he hated rushing into a store crazily to purchase a tie for Uncle Harry 2.The writer uses the example of the two teams mainly to ________.A.express he r sincere sympathy on lowerclass teenagersB.reflect the financial difficulty of the innercity churchC.show she was proud that her son’s team won the gameD.explain how she got her inspiration of sending Mike a special gift3.What did Mike mean by saying the sentence underlined in Paragraph 7?A.They tried to pick themselves up even if they failed in the match.B.They might lose heart after they were bitterly defeated in this way.C.They wouldn’t acknowledge the defeat because of the unfairness.D.They didn’t live up to their potential because they lost faith in themselves.4.Which of the following best describes the writer?A.Brave and earing.B.Sensitive and patient.C.Generous and careful.D.Considerate and warmhearted.5.What can we infer from the passage?A.The envelope became the highlight of their Christmas.B.The children now prefer new toys to practical presents.C.Mike’s spirit will have an everlasting influence on his children.D.The writer sends various gifts to children every Christmas.6.Which of the following is the best title for the passage?A.A Special Gift B.A White EnvelopeC.A Christmas Note D.A Memorable TraditionBChild prodigies (神童) cause awe, wonder and sometimes jealousy: how can such young children display the kinds of musical or mathematical talents that most adults will never master, even with years of hard practice? It is widely acknowledged that prodigies are born, not made. Practice alone isn’t going to turn out the next 6yearold Mozart. So finds a recent study of eight famous young prodigies, which sought to make it easier to understand the causes of their talent. The study found a few key characteristics these youngsters had in common. For example, they all had exceptional working memories, far better than ordinary people. Surprisingly, however, the study found that not all of the prodigies had high IQs. Indeed, while they had higherthanaverage intelligence, some didn’t have IQs that were as remarkable as their early achievements would suggest. The authors also found that prodigies scored high in autistic (自闭症的) features, especially in their extreme attention to details. They scored even higheron this feature than people diagnosed (诊断) with Asperger’s syndrome, a highfunctioning form of autism (自闭症) that typically includes great enthusiasm about details.Three of the eight prodigies had a diagnosed autism disorder. Four of the eight families included in the study reported autism diagnoses in firstorseconddegree relatives, and three of these families reported a total of 11 close relatives with autism. In the general population, in comparison, about 1 in 88 people have either autism or Asperger’s.Other unusual similarities between prodigies and those with autism: they’re both more likely to be male and both are associated with difficult pregnancies, suggesting that what they had gone through before they were born may play a role in their development.Yet, very little research has been done on the connection between autism and extreme talent. As a matter of fact, prodigies appear to benefit from certain autistic tendencies. In other words, these children may have some genetic feature or learned skill that allows them to maintain intense focus, without damaging their social skills or suffering from other disabilities that typically accompany autism disorders. Comparing these children with those who have autism could therefore potentially help explain what goes wrong in those who develop disabling forms of autism and what goes right in others with similar features who simply benefit from the condition and are able to improve their abilities.7.According to Paragraph 1, what is the common idea towards child prodigies?A.They are not created.B.Practice can create child prodigies.C.They must be created.D.Musical child prodigies are created within several years.8.Which of the following is TRUE according to the recent study?A.All the child prodigies have limited working memories.B.All the child prodigies don’t have high IQs.C.All the child prodigies have autism at the same time.D.Child prodigies come into being after a good education.9.What can we learn from Paragraph 4?A.All these eight prodigies are diagnosed with autism.B.Prodigies are more likely to suffer from autism than the ordinary people.C.Children diagnosed with autism are likely to become a prodigy.D.Child prodigies and those with autism have something in common.10.What is the main idea of the passage?A.What talent and autism have in common?B.What are the characteristics of talent?C.What are the findings about a mental disease called autism?D.What is autism?11.Such an article is most likely to be found in ________.A.a business magazineB.a newspaperC.a sports program on TVD.the Science Column of a magazine阅读理解A1.

AThe event that stands out in my memory happened one morning in 1983 when I was 14 years old.I was at home with my mother, getting ready for the afternoon session of school.I was doing my homework when I heard raised voices. At first I thought nothing of it—customers in the motorcycle shop directly below us often became unruly and loud, but I soon realized this was different.“Quick! Remove the motorcycles from the shop,” someone yelled. Then a thick burning smell filled the air. When I opened the front door of our flat to investigate, a thick cloud of smoke, billowing up from the ground floor, greeted me.The motorcycle shop had caught fire.My mum, who had been working in the kitchen, hurried to the living room.We rushed out of the door and along the corridor through the smoke. We were heading towards the stairway at the far end of the corridor when Mum stopped in her tracks. She turned around and headed back the way we came.I had no idea what she was doing, but I followed suit.Mum had suddenly remembered the Korean lady in her 70s who lived next door to us, who we called Makcik.Mum began banging on Makcik’s door, but to no avail. As the smoke thickened around us, I could see many of our neighbors—some still in their pyjamas—running for safety.“She would have run for safety like everyone else!” I cried.Mum refused to give up.“I know Makcik’s still inside,” she said as she pounded the door. “Go downstairs, shaji.Go now!”However, frozen with fear, I stood rooted to the spot.By then, both of us were coughing and our eyes were stinging.Time seemed to stand still, though we were probably there for only two or three minutes.Just as I was beginning to suffocate(窒息), the door opened.Makcik stood there, totally confused.Mum was right—she had been unaware of what was happening.Grabbing her hand, Mum led Makcik downstairs and outside to a safe spot where people had gathered to witness the fire. The firemen had just arrived and set about fighting the blaze, which was reaching up to the two floors above the motorcycle shop.Comprehending the gravity of the situation, Makcik broke down.Holding my mother’s hands tightly, and with tears flowing down her cheeks, she spoke to Mum.I could not hear what she said, but there was no mistaking her gratitude.I learned later that Makcik was sleeping when the fire broke out.I dread to think what would have happened if Mum had not turned back for her.Soon the firemen put out the billowing flames. There were no deaths or injuries, though the motorcycle shop was completely destroyed.Although the fire had damaged our corridor badly, it was put out before it could spread into our flat. Our home had been saved, though everything was covered in soot(黑灰) and an awful smell hung in the air. And, sadly, my pet lovebirds were dead.I felt terrible for not saving them in my haste. However, the thought of Mum’s courageous act in saving a human life brought great relief.Years later, I asked Mum about this incident. She said she was familiar withMakcik’s daily routine and was certain she would still be sleeping. When I asked if she was scared, Mum replied:“When a loved one is in danger, the thought of fear never crosses th e mind.”During my school days, whenever I wrote an essay about courageous deeds, I always focused on soldiers risking their lives to save others. It never occurred to me to write about my mum who had, in her determined way, saved our elderly neighbor.Today I know better.Maria Thomas, a timid and modest lady, someone who would not be mistaken for a superhero, had turned out to be my real hero.1.It can be inferred from the passage that ________.A.firefighters broke in and saved Makcik from the fireB.Makcik ran for safety like everyone else after the fire broke outC.Makcik survived the fire owing to my mum’s timely rescueD.people headed back to Makcik’s flat at the request of my mother2.Receiving no response from Makcik, Mum still refused to leave because ________.A.she didn’t realize that the fire was quickly surrounding herB.she was sure that Makcik must be sleeping at that timeC.she was convinced that Makcik must be too scared to moveD.she was informed that Makcik was in desperate need of help3.What made Makcik break down after she reached a safe spot?A.The big fire was spreading rapidly.B.People’s terrible screams shocked her.C.Mum’s sudden appearance moved her deeply.D.The serious situation made her confused.4.Which of the following best explains the sentence “When a loved one is in danger, the thought of fear never crosses the mind.”?A.Love makes all hard hearts gentle.B.Love warms more than a thousand fires.C.Love is never paid but with true love.D.Love fears no danger.5.The writer mentions the soldiers and Mum in the last paragraph to ________.A.highlight Mum’s courage and determination by making comparisonsB.show respect for firemen’s courageous deeds by providing explanations C.convey Mum’s influence on my attitude to danger by offering analyses D.emphasize the neighbor’s gratitude to Mum by giving examples6.Which of the following is the best title for the passage?A.My Neighbor:A Narrow EscapeB.The Firefighting:A Thrilling StoryC.My Mother:The superheroD.The Fire:An Unforgettable ExperienceBMost parents of kids under age 8 don’t worry about how much time they spend watching TV or using other media, from computers to smart phones to tablets PCs, according to a new survey that found a child’s use of media often reflects how much time parents spend in the similar way.“We generally found that media us e is not a source of conflict in the home” for families with young children, Ellen Wartella, a researcher from Northwestern University, told USA Today. She led a survey of 2,326 parents who have children aged 8 and younger. It found that in 80 percent of families, children’s media use was not a problem, with 55 percent “not too” or “not at all” concerned about it.It also showed parents have more positive than negative feelings about how mediaconsumption affects a child’s learning and the development of creativity. The exception is video games, which are viewed more negatively than TV, computers or mobile devices.“Parents rated video games as more likely to have a negative effect on children’s school performance, attention time, creativity, social skills, behavior and sleep than any other medium,” the researchers said in a news conference about the survey.“The findings exposes a generational shift (转移) in parental attitudes about technology’s role in young children’s lives, ”said Wartella.“Today’s parents grew up with technology as a central part of their lives, so they think about it differently than earlier generations of parents, instead of a battle with kids on one side and parents on the other, the use of media and technology has become a family affair.”The researchers identified three media environments created by parents:mediacentric (39 percent of families), mediamoderate (45%)and medialight (16%). Children in mediacentric families spend at least thr ee hours more each day watching TV or using computers, video games and tablet PCs don’t make parenting easier. And 88 percent of parents say they are most likely to turn to toys or activities to keep their children occupied.Slightly fewer turn to books (79%) and TV(78%).The survey didn’t look at how media affects children. That’s a topic that the American Academy of Pediatrics has handled a number of times. The AAP says studies have found too much media use can lead to attention problems, school difficulties, sleep and eating disorders and being fat.In addition, the Internet and cell phones can provide platforms for illegal and risky behaviors.“By limiting screen time and offering educational media and nonelectronic formats (格式)such as books, newspapers and board games, and watching television with their children, parents can help guide their children’s media experience.Putting questionable content into context and teaching kids about advertising contributes to their media literacy (素养), ”it says. The pediatricians’ group says parents should have “screenfree zones” and TV should be turned off during dinner. At most, it recommends children and teens engage with entertainment media for no more than two hours a day and that should be highquality content. It is important for kids to spend time on outdoor play, reading, hobbies and using their imaginations in free play.“Kids under 2 should not use television and other entertainment media because their brains are developing quickly and they learn best from direct human interaction,” the group says.An article on screen time by the Mayo Clinic also notes problems linked to over screen time, including being fat, irregular sleep, behavioral problems, weak school performance, violence and less time for active and creative play.7.Parents have more negative than positive feelings about media consumption like ________.A.computers B.smart phonesC.video games D.tablets PCs8.Most parents don’t worry about kid’s media use because ________.A.they can limit the screen timeB.they want their children happyC.they also grew up with technologyD.they can teach their children themselves9.From the data of the survey, we learn ________.A.children in mediacentric families are smarter than othersB.children in medialight families spend one hour watching TVC.more than half of the parents think children’s media use was a problem D.mediacentric children spend more than three hours each day on media use 10.To make parenting easier, most parents probably________.A.try to persuade their children to read booksB.ask their children questions while watching TVC.allow their children watching TV or using computersD.turn to toys or activities to keep their children occupied11.Which of the following is a suggestion by the researchers?A.Media use time for babies under 2 should be limited.B.Entertainment media use should be highquality content.C.Schools should provide more time for active and creative play.D.Home media use should provide platforms for illegal and risky behaviors.阅读理解A1.解析:选C。

第八组(建议用时:25分钟)阅读理解AOn his bench in Madison Square Soapy moved uneasily, and he realized the fact that the time had come for him to provide against the coming winter. The winter ambitions of Soapy were not of the highest. In them there were no dreams of Mediterranean voyages or blue Southern skies. Three months on the Island was what his soul desired. Three months of assured board and bed and good company, safe from north winds seemed to Soapy the most desirable thing.Just as the more fortunate New Yorkers had bought their tickets to Palm Beach each winter,Soapy had made his arrangements for his annual journey to the Island. And now the time had come. There were many institutions of charity in New York where he might receive lodging and food, but to Soapy’s proud spirit the gifts of charity were undesirable. You must pay in humiliation of spirit for everything received at the hands of mercy. So it was better to be a guest of the law.Soapy, having decided to go to the Island, at once set about accomplishing his desire. He left his bench and went up Broadway. He stopped at the door of a glittering cafe. He was shaven and his coat was decent. If he could reach a table in the restaurant, the portion of him that would show above the table would raise no doubt in the waiter’s mind. A roasted duck, with a bottle of wine, a cigar and a cup of coffee would be enough. Such a dinner would make him happy, for the journey to his winter refuge. But as Soapy entered the restaurant door, the head waiter’s eye fell upon his shabby trousers and old shoes. Strong hands pushed him in silence and haste out into the street. Some other way of entering the desirable refuge must be found. At a corner of Sixth Avenue Soapy took a stone and sent it through the glass of a glittering shop window. People came running around the corner, a policeman at the head of them. Soapy stood still, with his hands in his pockets, and smiled at the sight of the policeman.“Where is the man that has done that?” asked the policeman.“Don’t you think that I have had something to do with it?” said Soapy, friendly. The policeman paid no attention to Soapy. Men who break windows don’t remain to speak with policemen. They run away. He saw a man running and rushed after him, stick in hand.Soapy, disgusted, walked along, twice unsuccessful. On the opposite side of the street was a restaurant for people with large appetites and modest purses. Soapy entered this place without difficulty. He sat at a table and ate beefsteak and pie.And then he told the waiter he had no money.“Go and call a cop,”said Soapy. “And don’t keep a gentleman waiting.”“No cop for you,” said the waiter. “Hey!”Then Soapy found himself lying upon his left ear on the pavement. He arose with difficulty, and beat the dust from his clothes. Arrest seemed a rosy dream. The Island seemed far away. After another unsuccessful attempt to be arrested for harassing a young woman, Soapy went further toward the district of theatres. When he saw a policeman standing in front of a glittering theatre, he thoughtof “disorderly conduct”.On the sidewalk Soapy began to sing drunken songs at the top of his voice. He danced, cried, and otherwise disturbed the peace. The policeman turned his back to Soapy, and said to a citizen, “It is one of the Yale boys celebrating their football victory. Noisy, but no harm.”Sadly, Soapy stopped his useless singing and dancing. The Island seemed unattainable. He buttoned his thin coat against the north wind.In a cigar store he saw a welldressed man who had set his silk umbrella by the door. Soapy entered the store, took the umbrella, and went out with it slowly. The man with the cigar followed hastily.“My umbrella,” he said.“Oh, is it?” said Soapy. “Well, why don’t you call a policeman? I took your umbrella! Why don’t you call a cop? There stands one on the corner.”The umbrella owner slowed his steps. Soapy did likewise. The policeman looked at them curiously.“Of course,” said the umbrella man, “well, you know how these mistakes occur...if it’s your umbrella I hope you’ll excuse me.I picked it up this morning in a restaurant—if it’s yours,I hope you’ll...”“Of course it’s mine,” said Soapy. The exumbrella man retreated. The policeman hurried to help a welldressed woman across the street.Soapy threw the umbrella angrily. He was angry with the men who wore helmets and carried clubs. They seemed to regard him as a king who could do no wrong. At last Soapy stopped before an old church on a quiet corner. Through one window a soft light glowed, where, the organist played a Sunday anthem. For there came to Soapy’s ears sweet music that caught and held him at the iron fence. The moon was shining; cars and pedestrians were few; birds twittered sleepily under the roof. And the anthem that the organist played cemented Soapy to the iron fence, for he had known it well in the days when his life contained such things as mothers and roses and ambitions and friends. The influence of the music and the old church produced a sudden and wonderful change in Soapy’s soul. He thought of his degraded days, dead hopes and wrecked faculties. And also in a moment a strong impulse moved him to battle with his desperate fate. He would pull himself out of this pit; he would make a man of himself again. Those sweet notes had set up a revolution in him. Tomorrow he would be somebody in the world. He would...Soapy felt a hand on his arm. 第三组(建议用时:45分钟)Ⅰ.阅读理解Strange Wedding Traditions around the WorldFlinging raw rice and breaking a glass underfoot may seem like strange ways to celebrate a marriage, at l east if you’re not used to American customs. Strange as some U.S. wedding traditions may be, they certainly cannot take the (wedding) cake for overall wedding weirdness. Those honors go to these 5 strange wedding traditions around the globe.Blackening of the Bride and Groom (Scottish)For Scotland’s tradition of blackening of the bride, which has expanded to now include the groom, absolutely anything goes. This includes tars, feathers, pillow stuffing, dirt, rotting food, sour milk, flour—you name it and you get it, you can certainly pile it on.The blackening takes place prior to the wedding, which at least spares the tux (无尾礼服) and the wedding dress, but any time or location is fair game.Once blackened, the lucky newlywedtobe is paraded through the streets or tied to a tree as said “friends” announce the wedding.Blackening suppose dly prepares the person for any humiliation (羞耻) that life has yet to bring, as nothing could be as humiliating as being blackened.Breaking Dishes (German)Throwing plates is typically something you do after you’ve been married a few years, unless you’re from Germany. The wonderful tradition of breaking dishes actually takes place prior to the wedding at the rehearsal dinner.Tradition says the more dishes you break, the more good luck the new bride will receive. This counts double if she’s lucky enough to get a brand new set of china as a wedding gift. After this part, the bride and groom join forces to sweep up the mess, a gesture that ensures nothing will ever get broken in their home again.Keep Your Feet on the Floor (Irish)Irish legend has it that the bride must keep her feet on the floor while she’s dancing with the groom to ensure little fairies attracted by her beauty won’t kidnap her.The quick and clever fairies are always eager to get their hands on beautiful things, and legend says the bride has long been a prime target. Irish legends throughout the ages full of tales of fairies stealing brides, although it’s not clear where the brides end up and if the destination is better than where she planned to spend her honeymoon.Passing a Rolling Pin(擀面杖)(Polish)How many Polish people does it take to pass a rolling pin? It depends on how many people are at the Polish wedding! The tradition is pretty much what it sounds like,as people stand in a circle and pass a rolling pin from one person to the next, but there’s a rule—no hands are allowed, and each person must grad and then pass the pin along using only their legs. While it is not immediately evident what the tradition means or why people do it,it is evident it would be great video to capture for future generations to enjoy. No Bathroom Breaks for Three Days(Tidong tribe,Northern Borneo)Can your bladder (膀胱)really explode? Folks who follow a marriage tradition in Northern Borneo put this question to the test.Newlyweds in the Tidong tribe must stay in their home for three days—without a single bathroom break. That means no No.1, no No.2 during this threeday period. The background of this tradition is extremely unclear... as is the feeling people probably get after not relievingthemselves for half a week.1.Why is it before the wedding that Scottish people blacken newlyweds?A.They are occupied during the wedding.B.They don’t want to look ugly in the wedding.C.They don’t want to blacken their wedding dresses.D.They need to spare time to clean their blackened faces.2.Which of the following wedding traditions has an origin from local tales?A.Blackening of the Bride and Groom.B.Keep Your Feet on the Floor.C.Passing a Rolling Pin.D.No Bathroom Breaks for Three Days.3.Which of the following wedding traditions is supposed to occur at the wedding ceremony?A.Blackening of the Bride and Groom.B.Breaking Dishes.C.Passing a Rolling Pin.D.No Bathroom Breaks for Three Days.4.Which of the following statements is TRUE?A.The blackened Scottish couple are not allowed to be exposed to others except friends.B.The Germans even break a set of delicate china which is a wedding gift.C.Fairies in Irish legend will kill the bride if her feet are not kept on the floor.D.Newlyweds in Tidong tribe follow “No Bathroom Breaks for Three Days”to test their bladder.Ⅱ.任务型阅读(2015·浙江杭州第一次高考质检)A.Delaying your responsibilities.B.Neglecting sleep.C.Communicating with the person next to you.D.Performing your duty.E.Making thoughtless decisions.F.Reflecting over every detail. What We Should Avoid When We’re StressedIt’s safe to say we’re a little less than logical when and that puts us at risk to make some mistakes. The next your worries spiking, pay attention to these five behaviors.1.________It may seem helpful to let it out—and for the most part it can be cathartic(精神集中发泄的)—but mind the longexisting problem. Studies show that stress is an infectious emotion, and soon your stress has beco me someone else’s, too. A hateful anxiety cycle isn’t good for anyone. Instead, try hanging out with your best friend while doing a few activities you enjoy. One 2011 study showed that quality time with your best friend forever can help ease your worries.2.________Ever heard the phrase “Don’t go to bed when you’re angry”? Well, here’s another one to file in your rulebook: Don’t make a big decision when you’re stressed. Researchers from Harvard monitored a group of students and found that students who reported high levels of stress were worse at making good longterm choices because their minds were absorbed. In other words, that important decision about a job or that choice to make a down payment on a house should probably wait until you’re a little more relaxed.3.________We’ve all been there. We get overcome and de cide the best way todeal with our todo list is to just ignore it. That delay habit we create when we’re stressed may feel good at the time—but it’s certainly not helping later on. Instead of putting off something entirely, try breaking up your tasks into pieces. Research suggests we work best in 90minute intervals (间隔). Dedicate yourself to your work during those intervals—then give yourself a rest by taking a look at those puppy videos.4.________It can feel natural to think about every single hiccup (打嗝)when something goes wrong, but that nonstop overthinking could be harming our health. According to a 2013 study published in the journal PLOS ONE, those who reflect over negative thoughts and emotions are more at risk of depression and anxiety. The study also suggests that our psychological response to the negative occurrence seems to have more of an impact than the actual event itself. If you find yourself worrying about every detail, try a few mindfulness to get you back to the present moment. Let those thoughts float away.5.________Stress can ruin your sleep routine, and the worst thing you can do is to just give into the stress. Watching a TV show until the early hours may seem like the only way to get your mind off things, but research shows your burning screen could be messing with your sleep even more. If you’re stressed and struggling to sleep, try smelling some lavender(薰衣草) or even a warm bath. Sweet dreams.Ⅲ.书面表达(2015·浙江高三五校联考)假设国外某培训中心将于7月1日至7日举办丰富多彩的夏令营活动,主要有感受饮食文化、参观世界名校、体验国外课堂、学习家庭园艺、游览名胜古迹等。
