《学术论文写作》（反思性日记）

This is my first time to write the reflective diaries. I never heard something about reflective diaries in ShangLuo University. I do not know what it is, how to write it and why Mr. Tang asked us to write it. Well, I am so worried about if I do it well. Because I never written it before. And I don’t understand what I can get from it. However, after learning Mr. Tang’s lessons, I realize the reasons to write it. The main purpose and the importance of writing reflective diaries are to teach me to review what I have learnt in the classes and what I haven’t grasp in the course. For me, I conceive it will help us to summarize and consolidate the knowledge.
This subject called academic dissertation. The object is to teach students to learn how to write academic papers. In my view, this subject was formulated by school and the book of the subject was compiled by Mr. Tang. This is a perfect project for us. Before studying in WanLi, I did not learn to write academic papers systematically. I am really worried that I can’t finish it. But now, Mr. Tang’s lessons dispel my misgivings.
I learned a lot in this first stage. As an undergraduate, I will not have the degree certificate if my academic papers don’t come up to the mark. I have to attach importance to it. My major is English. The linguistics, education, culture, translation, literature or some other areas study, which research area I will choose at the beginning is the very important thing. The academic writing includes ten procedures and they are in follows in rules: title, author and department, abstract, keywords, introduction, main body, conclusions, acknowledgements, references, appendix. This is the frame of it. I should pay attention to the academic language, features of academic writing that formality, complexity and hedged. When I write the main body, I must learn how to do a good job about writing paragraphs.
This is a big project to finish my academic writing. I will learn more knowledge to write my papers better.
