教材分析:
本单元是6B的第二个复习单元,也是全书的最后一个单元,各部分教学内容均是在前三个单元话题的基础上有所扩展,并提供了一些新的呈现方式,重点复习第五至第七单元所涉及的语言项目,通过看图及对相关信息进行介绍、看图完成对话及短文、看图对话、同学之间谈论自己的好朋友等方式帮助学生复习巩固三个单元中所学的语音、词汇、日常交际用语、句型等基础知识。

某些练习的要求较前几个单元有所提高,更多地要求学生综合以前所学语言灵活地加以运用,从而进一步提高学生综合运用语言的能力。

学情分析:
由于本单元容量大,综合性强。

教师在课前有必要把全书所学内容进行归纳总结,以便对全书有个清楚、全面、整体的把握。

其次要弄清楚本单元的编写的意图以及知识要点,并在此基础上设计相应的教学过程及方法来帮助学生复习、巩固和运用所学知识。

在教学过程中要及时分析学生学习的现状,针对他们的掌握情况采取灵活、有趣、高效的方法,充分利用复习课的机会查漏补缺,将平时上课未能解决的问题,在此得以解决。

首先引导学生谈论课本内容,然后同桌之间分别独立阅读England和Australia的气候及季节介绍,了解大意,完成相关练习;最后同桌或小组之间通过提问和交流,找到短文后关于另一个国家季节气候的练习答案。

3、写作练习:课后通过写作拓展,学生运用所学知识,结合资料查找,简短介绍不同国家的季节及气候特征,提高英语小短文写作能力。

【学情分析】六年级学生朝气蓬勃,积极向上。

经过四年英语学习,学生已积累了一定量的词汇和日常交际用语,能围绕某个话题进行英语语段输出,具备一定的自主阅读理解能力及语言综合运用能力。

通过平时的口语交际、阅读活动及写作训练活动等,在英语思维能力、自主探索与合作交流等方面都有了进一步提升。

在英语课堂中,他们乐于成为学习的主人,乐于与同伴共同参与探讨,在活动中分享经验智慧,共同提高。

因此,本节课由教师真实的笔友导入活动,通过引导学生讨论、了解不同国家的季节及气候特征,将探索、交流与表达的主动权给予学生。

在复习、了解课本内容的同时,激发学生热爱自然、保护环境的情感;推荐歌曲《Heal the World》将英语学习延伸到课外,进一步激发了英语学习兴趣,拓展英语文化视野。
