Today I want to tell you all about my favorite city in the whole world - London! I went there with my family last summer and it was the best trip ever. London is the capital of England and it's full of amazing things to see and do. Get ready, because I'm going to tell you all about why London is so awesome!First of all, London is home to the Queen! How cool is that? The Queen's home is this giant castle called Buckingham Palace right in the middle of the city. We got to go see the Changing of the Guard ceremony where the Queen's soldiers march around in their big fuzzy hats and red uniforms. It was so fun to watch!Speaking of royalty, did you know that London has a giant tower that used to be a castle and prison? It's called the Tower ofLondon and it has ravens that live there. The legend says that if the ravens ever leave, the whole kingdom will fall! The tower also has the most amazing crown jewels, including some of the world's biggest diamonds. They were so sparkly and beautiful. My favorite thing we did in London was riding on the giant Ferris wheel called the London Eye. It's one of the tallest Ferris wheels in the world and you can see the entire city from the top! The pods are completely enclosed and air conditioned, so it was nice and comfy even though it was a hot summer day. The views were just breathtaking.London has some awesome museums too. We went to the Natural History Museum which had huge dinosaur skeletons and a massive whale model hanging from the ceiling. My little brother loved seeing all the dino bones! The British Museum had amazing artifacts from ancient Egypt and Greece, including real mummies. It was a little creepy but really cool. While in London, we also got to see a play at the famous Globe Theatre, which is a replica of the theatre where William Shakespeare's plays were originally performed centuries ago. It was outside with a thatched roof just like it would have been back then. Watching Romeo and Juliet there was an experience I'll never forget!London also has some awesome parks and gardens scattered throughout the city. We wandered through the lovely Kensington Gardens one afternoon. There were tons of people out picnicking, playing sports, or just relaxing in the beautiful green spaces. My little sister's favorite was the Princess Diana Memorial Playground because it had a huge pirate ship play structure that kids could climb on.One thing you have to try when visiting London is afternoon tea! We went to this gorgeous old tea house and had little sandwiches, scones, and fancy desserts served on a three-tier tray. They give you like a million different tea options to choose from too. It was the fanciest and most delicious tea I've ever had!Getting around London was really easy because they have an underground train system called the "Tube." All the stations have really cool tile work and old-fashioned signs. We could just hop on and off at different stops to get around the city quickly. I loved riding the Tube! Those are just some of the highlights from our family trip to London last year. Between the history, the sights, the food, and all the fun activities, it's no wonder London is one of the top tourist destinations in the world. If you ever get a chance to visit, you absolutely have to go! There's something for everyone inthis amazing city. London will always have a special place in my heart and I can't wait to go back someday.篇4The Best City to Visit - London!Hi everyone! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about the most amazing city that I think everyone should visit - London, England! I was so lucky to go there on vacation with my family last summer and it was the best trip ever.London is the capital city of England and also the biggest city in the whole United Kingdom. It's been around for almost 2,000 years which is super old! Because of that, there is so much cool history everywhere you look. My favourite things to see were all the old buildings and castles. Everything just feels magical there. One of the first places we visited was Buckingham Palace. This is where the Queen of England lives! We got to see the Changing of the Guard ceremony which was really neat. The guards have these huge furry hats and bright red coats and during the ceremony they march around playing music on drumsand whistles. I tried so hard not to laugh because they look kind of silly but also very serious at the same time.Right near Buckingham Palace is another famous London landmark called Big Ben. It's this giant clock tower that's been around since the 1800s! You can hear the bell ringing on every hour which is convenient for telling time. Big Ben is right beside the Houses of Parliament which is where a lot of the government business happens. We took a tour inside and I got to sit in these cool green leather chairs and pretend to be the Prime Minister for a day. Maybe I'll run for office when I'm older!Speaking of old places, another stop we made was the Tower of London. This is an ancient castle on the River Thames that used to be a prison a long time ago. They had displays set up showing all the different ways prisoners would be executed back then which was pretty graphic if I'm being honest. My favourite part was getting to see the Crown Jewels though - they're these incredibly valuable gem-studded objects that belong to the royal family. The guides definitely made sure we didn't try to steal any of them!London has some amazing museums too which was great for a museum-lover like me. The best one we went to was the Natural History Museum. They've got a massive dinosaurskeleton in the main hall along with a life-size model of a blue whale hanging from the ceiling. Upstairs they have lots of exhibits about different animals, rocks, planets and even human biology. I could have spent weeks in there!Another awesome museum we visited was the Science Museum. I'm a huge science nerd so this place was heaven for me. They've got planes and rockets hanging from the ceiling along with tons of interactive exhibits. You could spend all day just pushing buttons and watching things spin and light up. My favourite area was the space section where you could experience what it's like to launch into orbit. The simulators made me feel like a real astronaut!Besides all the amazing sights, London also has a ton of fun activities to do. We went to see a play in the West End theatre district which was so entertaining. I've never seen actors perform live on a stage before. The costumes and sets were so detailed and colourful. I had no idea what was going to happen next which made it even more exciting.London also had the best parks for running around that I've ever seen. There are wide open green spaces absolutely everywhere for hiking, biking, having picnics or just laying around and relaxing. My favourite was Hyde Park because it'sabsolutely massive with gorgeous gardens, lakes and even a few palaces dotted around the property. We rented bikes one day and rode all over the trails. So much fun!I could honestly go on forever about all the cool things there are to do in London. We went on guided walking tours through different neighbourhoods, rode the iconic double decker buses, explored funky outdoor markets and ate more delicious food than I could ever describe. Indian curry, fresh baked pastries, traditional fish and chips - my taste buds were celebrating constantly!London is such an incredibly diverse city too with people from all over the world. I loved listening to all the different languages being spoken and learning about so many various cultures. There were kids my age from distant countries that I'd never even heard of before. Getting toemeet them and hear about their lives was the best souvenir I could ask for.I'm sure I've missed about a million other sights and activities, but I've rambled on enough for now! Just take my word for it - London is the most magical place for kids and adults alike. The blend of modern and historic is perfect and there's seriously something for everyone no matter what you're interested in. Ihope I've convinced all of you to put London at the very top of your travel bucket list. Your inner adventure篇5My Favorite City to Visit: New York!Have you ever been to New York City? It's one of the biggest and most exciting cities in the whole world! I went there with my family last summer and it was the best trip ever. There's so much to see and do in New York that I could never get bored. Let me tell you all about my amazing adventures there!First of all, New York has some of the tallest buildings I've ever seen. The skyscrapers are just ginormous! We went up to the observation deck on the Empire State Building and I felt like I could see the entire city from up there. The view was breathtaking. Looking down made me feel a little dizzy, but in an awesome way. I'd never been up so high before!Another impressive place we visited was the Statue of Liberty. You can actually go up inside the statue and look out the crown windows. It was hard work climbing all those stairs, but so worth it. The statue is truly massive and beautiful. I'll never forget that bright green color! Taking a ferry cruise around the harborwas fun too. We got a great view of the skyline and learned some cool facts about New York history.Speaking of careers, we also visited some amazing museums that taught me so much. At the American Museum of Natural History, I saw real fossilized dinosaur skeletons and learned all about prehistoric life. The museum is absolutely massive with exhibits on space, oceans, biodiversity, and more. I couldn't believe how many incredible things there were to discover. And at the Museum of Modern Art, I saw weird contemporary paintings and sculptures. Some of that modern art is pretty strange if you ask me! But it was fascinating to learn about different artistic movements and styles. No matter where we went, I was amazed by the number of people out and about in New York at all hours. The sidewalks were always jam-packed with people rushing around. Times Square was insane - it felt like the center of the universe with those iconic towering bright lights and billboards. So many taxis, street vendors, performers, and regular folks just going about their day. The energy and buzz was addictive! I also loved the little shops, bakeries, and food carts on practically every street corner. You could find any type of food you can imagine in New York. When our feet got tired from all the walking and sightseeing, we'd hop on the subway to get around. Those underground trains were no joke - they zipped through the tunnels at warp speed! A few times we got turned around in the maze of stations and had to ask friendly New Yorkers for directions. People watched out for us kids and made sure we found the right train. See, New Yorkers have a reputation for being rude, but everyone we met was actually really nice and helpful. We took the subway up to Central Park one beautiful sunny day and I'm so glad we did. That park was like an oasis in the middle of the concrete jungle! There were wide open grassy areas perfect for running around, charming little bridges over streams, and rowboats you could rent to go around the lake. We even caught an outdoor theater performance of Romeo and Juliet which was super romantic...even if I didn't totally follow the old-fashioned language. I could have spent days just exploring every nook and cranny of Central Park. It was so refreshing to have some nature and open space amidst all the skyscrapers. On our final night in New York, we took an evening stroll across the iconic Brooklyn Bridge for amazing photo-ops of the city skyline all lit up at night. That's a view I'll never forget! From the bridge, I could see lights twinkling from the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building's colorful tower lights, and bustling Times Square off in the distance. Ferries, tour buses, and cars zoomed by below us. I felt like I was in a movie scene. New York comes even more alive at night! Those two weeks went by in a flash, but I have so many wonderful memories Bond with my family on that vacation. We squeezed in as much as we possibly could, but I know there's still so much left to explore in New York. From the diverse cultures and neighborhoods, to the endless supply of world-class attractions and entertainment, there's just no other city like it. The food, the art, the energy, the history...I could go on and on. New York is the epitome of a vibrant, world-class city.I'm already dreaming about my next trip back to the Big Apple! Maybe next time my family and I could see the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center, go ice skating in Central Park, check out some cool educational opportunities like coding camps or art classes for kids, shop along Fifth Avenue, and eat our way through even more of NYC's iconic eateries. Why not take in a sports game or concert while we're at it? The possibilities are truly endless in New York. It's a city that has something for everyone.I may only be a kid, but I know an amazing place when I see it. New York City is at the top of my list of favorite cities in the whole world - and I've been to a lot of places already! If you've never been, you're really missing out. New York has my heart forever and I can't wait to visit again soon. I'm already counting down the days until my next big adventure in the city that never sleeps!篇6My Favorite City: LondonHi friends! Today I want to tell you all about my favorite city in the whole world - London! I went there with my family a couple of years ago and it was the best trip ever. London is the capital of England and it's a huge, exciting place with so many fun things to see and do. Let me tell you all about it!First of all, London is an extremely old city - it was first settled by the Romans almost 2000 years ago! That means it has tons and tons of amazing old buildings and historic sites. One of the most famous is the Tower of London. This is a massive old castle right in the middle of the city on the River Thames. It used to be a fortress and even a prison where they locked up bad people! Now it's just an amazing museum where you can see theold towers, the armory with weapons and suits of armor, and even the gorgeous crown jewels - those are the real crowns and jewels that belong to the Queen!Speaking of the Queen, you can't go to London without seeing Buckingham Palace. This is where the Queen actually lives when she's in London. In front there's a huge beautiful park and you can watch the changing of the guard, where the Queen's soldiers in their red coats and big fuzzy hats march around. If you're really lucky, you might even get to see the Queen herself!London also has some of the most amazing museums in the world. The Natural History Museum is incredible - it's full of dinosaur skeletons, meteor rocks, a life-sized blue whale model that takes up an entire room, and all kinds of awesome science exhibits. My favorite though was the British Museum. It has Egyptian mummies, ancient Greek sculptures, samurai armor from Japan, and even the Rosetta Stone that helped us decode Egyptian hieroglyphs. You could spend days in there!London has some awesome parks too, perfect for running around or having a picnic. Hyde Park is one of the biggest and you can go boating on the lake or horseback riding through the trails. Regent's Park has beautiful gardens and is home to theLondon Zoo where you can see lions, tigers, gorillas and so much more. The city also has incredible theaters where you can see world-class musicals and plays. We saw the Lion King musical and it was just mind-blowing with the most amazing costumes and sets. And make sure to go shopping on Oxford Street or in the cool markets like Camden Market - you can find all kinds of amazing souvenirs and snacks there. Now let me tell you about some of the best food in London! My favorite was the traditional English breakfast with eggs, sausages, bacon, baked beans, mushrooms and toast. Then there are classic dishes like fish & chips, meat pies, and Yorkshire pudding. For dessert, you've got to try sticky toffee pudding or Eton mess which has meringue, strawberries and cream. Yum! London also has amazing Indian curries and food from all over the world.Getting around London is really easy too. The iconic red double-decker buses go everywhere or you can take the Tube which is their subway system. It has signs with those famous London Underground logos that look like cylinders. Just make sure to stand on the right side of the escalators!I could honestly go on and on about London for days. From the winding streets of Soho to seeing the super high-tech Globe Theatre rebuilt in the same spot as the old one, to all theworld-class shopping, there is just so much to do and see. London is old and new, historic and modern, all mixed together into one exciting, bustling city. Every corner has something cool to explore. If you ever get a chance to visit London, you absolutely have to go! It's truly one of the greatest cities in the world. With amazing sights, cool attractions, incredible food, fantastic theater and so much more, you'll never run out of fun things to do. I can't wait to go back someday and experience more of what this awesome city has to offer. London is the best!。

The peoples living conditions are better and the technology is very advanced, but the environment is getting worse and worse.I read in the paper that a polar bear was looking for new ice because it was melting ice, but it was too late to find the ice to drown in the sea. The same is true of our cities, because too many cars are constantly expanding the roads and cutting the greenbelts, so that although the cars are easy to drive, there is less green in the world. We are good at jinhua, but the environment in Shanghai is very bad! The whole city was full of cars, crowded with people. I think I should limit the number of cars I buy every month and shorten the time of the cars reporting period by one to two years, so that I can control the growth of the number of cars. We should also expand the green belt appropriately, improve the environment of the city, and purify the air in the city. Take a look at the suburbs of the city and change the roads to the woods. Lets talk about how to protect the green belt. Now sanitation workers in the city always clean up the leaves on the soil, but the leaves can be used to fertilize the trees. Without the leaves, the growth of the plants will slow down a lot. Besides, dont cut the branches too much, cut the unordered ones.I believe that as long as everyone loves the environment, the environment will be better!最喜欢的城市的英语作文篇4Shen Zhen is my favorite city. 我最喜欢的一座城市上海英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite City: ShanghaiHi everyone! My name is Lily and I'm going to tell you all about my favorite city in the whole wide world - Shanghai! Shanghai is the biggest city in China and it's super amazing. I've lived there my whole life and I love it so much. Let me tell you why!First of all, Shanghai has the coolest skyline ever. It's called the "Pearl of the Orient" because of all the bright lights and tall skyscrapers. At night, the skyline looks like a million sparkling jewels along the Huangpu River. My dad took me up to the top of the Shanghai World Financial Center one time and we could see the entire city! The view was breathtaking with all the neon signs and brightly lit buildings. I felt like I was in a big futuristic movie. Some of the most iconic buildings in Shanghai's skyline are the Oriental Pearl TV Tower which kind of looks like a big pearl on a stick, the Shanghai Tower which is the tallest building inChina, and the cool twisty Shanghai World Financial Center. The Bund area along the river has tons of historical buildings too in European styles like Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance. I love how Shanghai mixes the ancient and the modern together.Shanghai is a huge modern city, but it still has lots of old Chinese culture and history too. One of my favorite places is the Yu Garden in the Old Town area. It was first built all the way back in 1559 during the Ming Dynasty! The garden has beautiful rock gardens, zigzag bridges over pools, and ancient temples. I feel like I've gone back in time whenever I walk through the winding paths. After visiting Yu Garden, you can walk along the Yuyuan Bazaar which is an awesome older neighborhood with little shops selling traditional Chinese crafts, snacks, and souvenirs.Another amazing place is the Shanghai Museum which has a huge collection of ancient Chinese art and artifacts like jade carvings, bronze sculptures, pottery, furniture, and calligraphy. My class went on a field trip there and I was blown away by all the incredible historical items on display. We also went to the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum which was just as cool but in a totally different way! It had huge immersive exhibits on space exploration, virtual reality, robots, and greentechnology. I loved playing with all the hands-on activities and learning about cutting-edge science.Speaking of science, did you know that the world's first commercial maglev train is in Shanghai? It's called the Shanghai Maglev Train and it can go over 260 mph using magnetic levitation instead of wheels! My family rode it once when my aunt visited from out of town and it was crazy fast. We got from the airport to the city center in just 7 minutes when it usually takes 30-40 minutes to drive. The acceleration felt like we were blasting off into space!Of course, you can't visit Shanghai without spending time exploring the amazing food scene. Shanghai has soooo many delicious foods like xiaolongbao (small steamed buns with soup inside), shengjianbao (pan-fried buns), hairy crab in the fall, and the fluffiest dragon cream puffs you've ever tasted. My mouth waters just thinking about it! Shanghai is known for having the best variety of both traditional Chinese cuisine and incredible international foods from all over the world. My parents love taking me to new restaurants to try different regional dishes. One of my happiest memories is going to Chinese New Year celebrations in Shanghai. The whole city is decorated with gorgeous red lanterns, bright lights, and rabbit sculptures sincethe upcoming year is the Year of the Rabbit. On New Year's Eve, we watched incredible fireworks displays light up the sky above the Bund. It was magical! During the day, we visited the incredible temple fairs set up in parks and plazas. There were traditional dragon dances, acrobats, opera performers, and endless stalls selling lucky charms, flowers, yummy snacks, and firecrackers. I love the thrill of setting off those huge strings of firecrackers for luck! Shanghai really goes all out in its celebrations and there's nothing like ringing in the new year there.I could go on forever about everything I adore in Shanghai, but I'll wrap it up now. From the amazing architecture to the delectable food to the rich history and culture, Shanghai is unlike any other city in the world. It's vibrant, exciting, constantly changing, and full of surprises around every corner. I'm so lucky I get to grow up surrounded by all the wonders of this city. I hope you all get to visit Shanghai someday and experience the magic for yourselves! Thanks for reading my essay!篇2My Favorite City ShanghaiHi! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about my very favorite city in the whole wide world - Shanghai! Shanghai is the biggest city in China and one of the biggest cities anywhere. It's located right on the coast in the eastern part of China. Even though it's a huge metropolis with over 24 million people, I just love everything about Shanghai. Let me explain why!First of all, Shanghai is such an amazing mix of modern and traditional. The city has gorgeous towering skyscrapers made of glass and steel that look like they came straight out of the future. The Shanghai Tower is one of the tallest buildings in the world at 2,073 feet tall! Walking around篇3My Favorite City ShanghaiHi there! My name is Xiao Ming and I'm going to tell you all about my favorite city in the whole wide world - Shanghai! It's the biggest city in China and one of the biggest cities anywhere. Just wait until you hear how amazing it is!First off, Shanghai has the coolest skyline I've ever seen. It's like a forest of skyscrapers reaching up to touch the clouds. At night, the buildings light up in every color of the rainbow. Myfavorite is the Shanghai Tower, which is one of the tallest buildings on Earth at 632 meters high! It has these twisty glass facades that sparkle in the sun during the day. I went up to the observation deck on a field trip and the view was so incredible, I felt like I could see the whole city laid out below me like a gigantic map.Another awesome thing about Shanghai is all the incredible food. My mom always says you could eat a different kind of delicious dish every day for a year and still not try everything! There are restaurants from all over China, like yummy xiaolongbao dumplings from the north, spicy Sichuan dishes from the west, and tropical fruits from the south. But don't worry, there's also lots of Western food like hamburgers, pizza, and pasta. My personal favorite is the fresh seafood - Shanghai has the best shrimp, crab, and fish around since it's right on the coast.Speaking of the coast, the Bund is one of the nicest waterfronts anywhere. It's this long stretch along the Huangpu River in the older part of the city with beautiful historic buildings that used to be banks and trading houses. At night, the whole area is illuminated by lights reflecting off the river. Across from the Bund is the futuristic Pudong district with all its modernskyscrapers. I love going there with my family to walk along the promenade and take fun pictures with the skyline in the background. If you're looking for excitement, Shanghai has that too! There are awesome theme parks like the Shanghai Disneyland Resort with the biggest Disney castle in the world. The rides and shows are so thrilling. One time I went on the TRON Lightcycle Power Run roller coaster and it felt like I was zooming through a video game at lightspeed! For something a little more chill but still really cool, you can visit the Shanghai Wildlife Park. They have these amazing enclosed habitats where you can see kung fu pandas, snow leopards, and red-crowned cranes up close. My favorite are the hippopotamuses lazily swimming in the river pool.I could honestly go on forever about Shanghai because there's just so much to see and do. The metro system makes it super easy to get around to all the different neighborhoods and attractions. You've got peaceful gardens, lively markets,world-class museums, massive malls for shopping, professional sports teams to watch, and beautiful temples and churches. No matter what you're into, Shanghai has it.This city is the best place ever to live! The energy and atmosphere are unlike anywhere else. I feel so lucky to call Shanghai my home. If you ever get a chance to visit, you absolutelymust. I promise you'll understand why I love it so much as soon as you arrive. Shanghai is a place that sparks wonder in everyone who experiences its audacious architecture, rich culture, delectable food, and unmatched vibrancy. Like I said, it's my favorite city in the whole wide world!篇4My Favorite City ShanghaiWow, Shanghai is the coolest city ever! It's my total favorite place in the whole wide world. I went there last year with my mom and dad and had the best time. We stayed for a whole week and I never wanted to leave!First of all, Shanghai is just ginormous. It's one of the biggest cities in China with over 24 million people living there! Can you believe that? 24 million! That's like a bazillion people. The city is huuuuuge with towering skyscrapers that seem to stretch all the way up to the clouds. I'd never seen buildings so tall before. My neck got super sore from looking up at them all day.But the coolest skyscraper by far is the Oriental Pearl Tower. It's this amazing futuristic-looking tower right on the Huangpu River with these huge glowing balls stacked on top of each other. At night, the whole tower lights up in a rainbow of colors. It's so bright and beautiful! We went up to the top observation decks and you can see the entire city below you. I've never seen anything like it in my life. On a clear day, you can even see the ocean way off in the distance!Shanghai has tons of other awesome stuff too like the Shanghai World Financial Center, the Jin Mao Tower, and the Shanghai Tower - the tallest skyscraper in all of China! They're all ginormous buildings that look like they're from another planet or something. Downtown Shanghai feels like you're in an alien city in a sci-fi movie. I couldn't believe how many skyscrapers and bright lights there were everywhere you looked. It was sensory overload! But as amazing as all the skyscrapers are, I think my favorite part of Shanghai was exploring the Old Town. That's the historic part of the city with all these ancient temples, mansions, and rock gardens. It feels like you've traveled back in time! The buildings there are hundreds of years old with beautiful intricatewood-carvings and sculptures everywhere. We spent a whole day wandering around the Old Town and went to the Yuyuan Garden, which was absolutely gorgeous. It was filled with pretty ponds and rivers with koi fish swimming in them. All the pavilions and halls had these amazingly carved roof tops that looked like works of art. My mom had to keep nagging me to stop gawking at everything because my mouth kept hanging open! For lunch, we ate at this delicious dumpling restaurant called Nanxiang Steamed Bun Restaurant that's been around for over 100 years. The xiaolongbao soup dumplings were out of this world - probably the most delicious thing I've ever tasted. They had these amazing paper-thin skins filled with hot soup and a tasty meat filling. Everyone says they're the best xiaolongbao in Shanghai and I can totally see why. I must have eaten like 20 of them! After the Old Town, we went on a boat cruise along the Huangpu River. It was so cool seeing both the Old Town and the ultra-modern Pudong skyline of skyscrapers all lit up at night from the water. The city skyline looked like something straight out of a Batman movie - so bright and futuristic! I felt like a superhero cruising along the river through that incrediblealien-looking cityscape.Shanghai just has this endless energy and vibe to it that I've never experienced anywhere else. It's this amazing clash of ancient and modern - with centuries-old temples right beside towering glass skyscrapers. Everywhere you look there are people hustling and streets packed with cars, bikes, and scooters zipping by. The city is just always buzzing and moving at a million miles per hour. It's all a bit overwhelming if I'm being honest...but in the best way possible!I could go on and on about how awesome Shanghai is, but I'm running out of room. All I know is that I already can't wait to go back someday. Shanghai is hands-down the raddest, most incredible city I've ever visited. Between the crazy skyscrapers, historic sites, delicious dumplings, and just the general vibe of the place, it's my new favorite spot on the whole planet! If you ever get a chance to go there, you absolutely have to. I'm sure you'll fall in love with Shanghai just like I did. It's that amazing!篇5My Favorite City, ShanghaiWow, let me tell you about my favorite city in the whole wide world - Shanghai! It's the biggest city in China and one of thebiggest cities ever. Shanghai is so cool and amazing, I just love it sooooo much! The first thing I love about Shanghai is all the crazy tall buildings. They have so many skyscrapers, it's unbelievable! The tallest one is called the Shanghai Tower and it's 632 meters tall - that's almost as tall as 200 basketball players stacked on top of each other! Can you imagine how tiny the people on the ground must look from up there? The skyscrapers in Shanghai look like giant metal and glass tongues all sticking straight up into the sky. At night when they're all lit up, it's the prettiest sight ever.Another amazing thing about Shanghai is The Bund. That's the name for this long stretch along the Huangpu River where there are tons of old European-style buildings all squished together. Some of them are from way back in the 1800s! They have these awesome green copper roofs that have turned bluish-green from being so old. I love wandering along The Bund and staring at the crazy mix of old European buildings on one side and all the brand new futuristic skyscrapers on the other side across the river. It makes you feel like you're in two totally different times and places at once!Speaking of the Huangpu River, that's the next thing I love about Shanghai. The river cuts right through the middle of thecity and it's so wide and massive! You can take a cruise down the river on these big boats and see all the lights and buildings of Shanghai shining at night. The river is so busy too with tons of huge cargo ships carrying stuff back and forth. Sometimes I'll be out on a boat and this gigantic ship loaded down with containers will cruise past us. It's crazy!Yum, I can't talk about Shanghai without mentioning the FOOD! Chinese food is my total favorite, and Shanghai has the most amazing Chinese restaurants everywhere. My favorite is xiaolongbao, which are these cute little steamed soup dumplings. The broth inside is so hot and delicious. You have to carefully bite a tiny hole in the dumpling and slurp out the soup before eating it. I can easily eat like 20 of them in one sitting! Shanghai also has incredible noodle dishes, sweet bakery treats, and soooo many other yummy foods to try.Have you ever heard of the Shanghai Disney Resort? It's a massive Disney park right in Shanghai, the biggest one in Asia! The castle at the front is absolutely humongous and there are rides and attractions themed after all the classic Disney movies and characters. I've been there a bunch of times and it's just pure magic every time. My favorite ride is the TRON Lightcycle PowerRun coaster where you get to ride a real-life motorcycle style ride through the world of TRON. So. Friggin. AWESOME!I could go on forever about Shanghai, but I'll wrap it up by saying it's definitely the most fun, exciting, cool city for a kid to visit. With the skyscrapers, The Bund, the river, the food, Disney, and just the general craziness everywhere you look, Shanghai is endlessly entertaining. Every time I'm there it feels like I've been transported to the future but yet also back in time all at once. Shanghai is bursting with so much energy, lights, sounds, and sights. I'll never get tired of visiting my favorite city over and over again!篇6My Favorite City: ShanghaiHi there! My name is Lily and I'm going to tell you all about my favorite city in the whole wide world - Shanghai! It's the biggest city in China and one of the biggest cities anywhere. I love Shanghai so much because it's an amazing, fascinating place with so many cool things to see and do.First of all, Shanghai is a really old city but also a very modern one at the same time. It started out as just a small fishing village a long, long time ago. But over the centuries itgrew into a huge, bustling metropolis with over 24 million people living there today! The old parts of the city have beautiful historic buildings and neighborhoods dating back hundreds of years. But then in the last few decades, Shanghai has built tons of brand new skyscrapers, businesses, entertainment centers, and more. So you can walk down one street and see traditional Chinese architecture and then turn a corner and be surrounded by soaring glass and steel towers. It's the perfect mix of old and new!Speaking of architecture, Shanghai has some of the most impressive and iconic buildings I've ever seen. Everyone knows about the Oriental Pearl TV Tower - it's kind of hard to miss when it's 1,535 feet tall! From the observational decks you can look out over the entire city. My favorite part is the roller coaster at the top that goes around the pearl's spheres. So fun! Then there are the super tall skyscrapers like the Shanghai Tower and the Jin Mao Tower. They're two of the tallest buildings in China and just seeing them makes me feel tiny. The Shanghai World Financial Center is another landmark with a huge circular hole at the top. And I really want to go to the Shanghai Bund area on the riverfront. It has tons of European-style buildings from when that area was controlled by Britain, France and other countries in the 1800s and 1900s. So cool!Another reason why I love Shanghai is because it's a shopper's paradise. My mom loves taking me to the Nanjing Road area downtown, which is one of the biggest shopping districts on the planet. The neon lights at night are so bright and colorful. Every single big brand has multiple massive stores lining the streets - Apple, Nike, Zara, you name it. And then there are the unbelievable malls like the Shanghai IFC Mall and the East Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. They're basically entire cities contained inside! You could spend days exploring all the stores, restaurants, arcades, aquariums, and other attractions inside those malls. Shanghai has so many other fun shopping streets and markets too like Huaihai Road, Xintiandi, and the Fabric Market. No matter what you're looking for, you'll find it in Shanghai! But Shanghai isn't all about the buildings and shopping - it also has some really awesome parks and outdoor spaces to enjoy nature and history. My personal favorite is the Yu Garden in the Old Town area. It was first built all the way back in 1559 during the Ming Dynasty! The garden has beautiful scenery like rock gardens, pools, pagodas, and dragon sculptures. I also love going to Fengxian Beach, which has a giant Ferris wheel you can ride and a huge area to swim, tan, play sports, and hang out withfriends. Century Park is another amazing green space with gardens, lakes, forests, and sports facilities. No description of Shanghai would be complete without mentioning the incredible food scene! As a major international city, you can find restaurants serving cuisine from all over China as well as places specializing in dishes from Japan, Korea, Italy, France, the US, and everywhere else. But I'm particularly obsessed with Shanghai's classic local specialties. Xiaolongbao are these awesome little soup dumplings filled with hot broth and pork. Shengjian bao are even better - they're these miracle dumplings where the dough is cooked with soup inside! I'll never understand how they do that. Other Shanghai must-tries are hairy crab, shengjianbao, niangao, and jianbing (a savory crepe). I'm getting hungry just thinking about it all!I feel so lucky to live just a couple hours away from Shanghai and to have had the chance to visit many times. Every single trip, I discover awesome new things about this ever-changing, dynamic city. From the stunning skyline to the bustling streets to the incredible food, it's just such a vibrant, energetic, fascinating place. Shanghai combines the ancient and the modern, the local and the international, all into one amazingly fun urban experience. I hope you'll get to visit Shanghai one day andexperience the magic for yourself. In my opinion, it's truly one of the most incredible cities on earth!。

The people's living conditions are better and the technology is very advanced, but the environment is getting worse and worse.I read in the paper that a polar bear was looking for new ice because it was melting ice, but it was too late to find the ice to drown in the sea. The same is true of our cities, because too many cars are constantly expanding the roads and cutting the green belts, so that although the cars are easy to drive, there is less green in the world. We are good at jinhua, but the environment in Shanghai is very bad! The whole city was full of cars, crowdedwith people. I think I should limit the number of cars I buy every month and shorten the time of the car's reporting period by one to two years, so that I can control the growth of the number of cars. We should also expand the green belt appropriately, improve the environment of the city, and purify the air in the city. Take a look at the suburbs of the city and change the roads to the woods. Let's talk about how to protect the green belt. Now sanitation workers in the city always clean up the leaves on the soil, but the leaves can be used to fertilize the trees. Without the leaves, the growth of the plants will slow down a lot. Besides, don't cut the branches too much, cut the unordered ones.I believe that as long as everyone loves the environment, the environment will be better!我喜欢的城市英语作文篇4have you even been to hong kong ? this summer holiday, i had travelled to hong kong with many other students. we went to hong kong by plane. hong kong is very small, but there are many people living there.in hong kong, all of the buildings are very tall. there are lots of shops there and you can go shopping until about 11:00 at night. in hong kong, things are very expensive, so we only bought a few souvenirs.we went to lots of places, such as the avenue of stars and ocean park. i like ocean park best. the park is very big. sitting in the cable car, you can see two hills, lots of different flowers and the sea. some students were afraid of sitting in the cable car!we stayed in the shu ren college. there are many big trees around it. we h ad meals in the restaurants, but i didn’t like the food.hong kong is very beautiful. i like hong kong and i hope togo there again some day.我喜欢的城市英语作文篇5There are five stories in my mind. The first floor has the subway, the subway can reach all over the place, the subway train is very fast, it is only good at 1,000 kilometers an hour, can do some tourist attractions with the ability, let the subway take us to go.The second layer is the layer of ice, and summer is so hot that it can be played on the second floor, especially cool. And you can ski.The third floor is the world of people, with schools, gardens, playgrounds, shops and restaurants. Had better not be especially good, school exam, the exam again, try a semester, most don't much homework, every day to go to school late, had better go to school at 9 o 'clock, as early as the best school at 3 PM, at noon to eat at school, school can skating, cycling, this layer can ride a bike can't drive, ride a motorcycle. And this is the three layers of cool. The fourth floor and the third layer is similar, there are school, playground, shops, restaurants, and the third layer is same, only is here in winter is warm, can be in the third in summer, warm in winter is on the fourth floor. You can drive here.On the fifth floor, there are many factories and steel mills, and there is a glass on the four floors below, which can't let harmful gases into people's paradise.我喜欢的城市英语作文篇6There are countless cities in the world, but most of these cities look like twin brothers, and there is nothing special about them. And the beautiful city in my heart is an active castle, where you will be surprised every day, because there is so muchprogress in the new moon. If you want to explore, please take my hand and go see it.Here, every morning when you push open the window, there will be a different discovery: today is the bird song; Tomorrow is the dance of the butterfly; Perhaps today is the spring flowers bloom, the green trees shade, the next to tomorrow is Dan hang incense, red leaves like fire... This subtle change, perhaps tonight, may be in the morning, and he is changing as if he were in a man's mood. You will be surprised to find out, but the environmental work there is good! When you are on a wide street, you will see small and delicate robots everywhere. Here you may feel confused: why there are so many delicate and cabinet meeting on the road of the robot? You may have noticed, how clean the streets, this is their work. But their function is not only that, they become "cleaners", but also act as environmental "scouts". As long as you don't throw the garbage into the garbage can, will have a robot, open a ticket for you, can you guess what is written on it "ten garbage turned in check again, if it is dark before inspection, just stick the ticket on the door is the central". Then you think: what's so hard about this? But when you find that there are a rubbish, near the front has a small robot quickly ran to receive the trash in the belly, and so you were also found in less than a rubbish, you just regrets! I really think about it. "The scout came up to you and said," the earth is my home. You don't understand it."。
