How can we read news fast and understand better?

I. Teaching aims:

Reading: enable Ss to skim for main ideas in the contexts of news reports

Step II---Sum-up & pre-reading

Sum up the key points in reading a news story on blackboard.

Present the structure of news reporting by analyzing some headlines and leads.
