教学反思英语组牛永斌生活中有许多孩子们所熟知的话题,比如:过生日,购物,过节日,助人为乐等。
其实,教学如果和这些孩子们所熟知的话题联系起来,就会比较容易和有效了。
一日,牛津英语5A课本上就有这么一课内容是关于孩子们比较感兴趣的“过生日”这一话题的。
(用英语来说就是“A Birthday Party”)新课开始之前,我先利用幻灯片出示了一个小朋友过生日的照片,在我的提示下,孩子们马上就高兴的唱起了英文版的Happy Birthday to You歌曲。
在接下来的模拟birthday party 中,孩子们先是用汉语说了了生日聚会中的大概四步:唱歌,许愿,吹蜡烛,吃蛋糕及其它美味食品。
然后,我就正好从吃美味食品开始引入这节课,先带领学生们复习学过的各种食品单词,然后把主要的句型“Do you want( ) or ( ),Eddie?”写在了黑板上。
练习的时候,我让学生们自由的组合词语,两人两人或一组一组操练对话。
学生们自己想出了许多食物的表达,大大超过我的想象。
通过这个环节,我发现,平时给孩子们自由表达的时间太少,孩子们有时其实是需要自由讨论的,只要能乘胜即收,别让他们太乱了。
当他们被某一个不会翻译的单词挡住时,他们可以先用汉语,然后提问老师,再获取答案后,会加深这个词给他们的印象。
这节课,学生的兴趣是比较高涨的,因为他们了解这个话题,自然就有信心去争相表达和练习。
但是,有一个问题就是,我让他们练习的形式较为单调,课堂用语中用的汉语也比较多,英语气氛不太浓。
原因是,自己没有在这个环节备充分课,没有提前想出更多的活动方式和游戏,这一点感觉挺过意不去的,没有使孩子们最大程度地感觉到快乐。
“英语月”已经开始一周多了,我期待着能真正让学生感受到英语世界的精彩。
今后需要继续全力改进教学!。
