Hello everyone! Today I would like to share my point of view on a common phenomenon in our life with all of you.
Have you ever had such an experience or something similar? You woke up at 6:30 in the morning surrounded by the annoying sound produced by your alarm clock, still feeling sleepy. Then you turned the alarm off, lay back on the bed, hoping to sleep for another 5 minutes. But when you woke up again, it's 9 o'clock. What's more, your plan to do some exercise or do some reading just blew up. Or perhaps you were just about to do your math assignment, a message from Wechat appeared on the mobile screen. You decided to check it first, promising to yourself that you will get to the assignment as long as you have replied to the message. But when you finished, an inner voice appeared inside you: Why not read novels for a while? There's still an hour left. The assignment won't cost me more than half an hour. So you opened the browser and started reading. Maybe the novel was too appealing, when you finally noticed that it's time for your assignment, an hour had just passed by. If you had experiences like these, you must have a disease called procrastination(拖延症), something makes people delay the things they were up to. And the consequences of delaying always seem bad: either you gave up the original plan, or you were forced to conduct your mission in a hurry, because you had wasted too much time on those meaningless entertainments. Somebody may not regard it as a serious problem, but as a matter of fact, it could cause serious mental illness like anxiety disorder and depression.
