我把学生分成A、B、C三组,A组代表fruit,B组代表food。

我就把带有mango的图片递给A组的这位同学。
以同样的方式将带有的食品的图片交给A、B二组,然后要求持图片的学生随意地站成一个圆圈,让C组做游戏。

英语课上,每次积极举手的往往都是那些英语佼佼者,但是那些不敢举手的中等生或差生更需要关注。
记得一次,我上课提问,有一个学生平时成绩很一般,上课极少举手,可这一次我从他期待的眼神中,发现他很想回答,但又不敢举手。
我带着鼓励的语气叫了他,他的回答有些紧张,发音也有些错误。
我纠正了他的发音,鼓励他再说一遍。
他看看我,又看看其他同学,低着头想了想。
正在我以为他会放弃的时候,他抬起了头对我说:“老师,你能不能把问题再说一遍。
”
我笑着又说了一遍,他盯着我勇敢地说出了答案。
虽然他仍然有些紧张,但是讲得很准确。
坐下时,我给了他一张贴画。
从他自豪、兴奋的表情中,我坚信他在学习英语的征途中已经迈出了成功的一大步。
老师对学生的关注和尊重,能使一个学习困难的学生产生成就感,树立起学好英语的信心。

“颜色”的故事

今天我上有关颜色的六个单词green,black,yellow,blue,red,white,根据以往的教学经验,除yellow和white的发音容易记住外,其余的四个单词发音较难,怎样才能让他们很快地记住呢
随着***,我走进教室,拿出事先准备好的教具,开始教有关颜色的单词。
我一边出示教具,一边让学生跟我读单词,并将生词板书在黑板上。
当我教green这个单词时,学生们一齐指向一个男孩,不断地吼:Green,Green,Green……课堂混乱起来,连平时不怎么说话的学生也站起来,指着他大声说。
本来我心里有点恼火,但看见大家热情高涨,也不好灭大家兴致,何不顺水推舟,借助学生的英文姓名帮助大家记住这些单词呢想到这儿,我将其余的颜色单词和学生姓名结合起来读、记,然后用学生手里有颜色的实物加以巩固。
一堂课下来,大部分学生基本上记住了这些单词的音、形、义,而且还知道有些表示颜色的单词,如果把它们的第一个字母大写,又能表示姓氏,不知不觉中学生们的知识得到了扩展。
“颜色”的教学经历让我感想颇多:其一,要冷静看待学生不守纪律的现象,正确引导,加以利用,以更好地发挥学生的主观能动性。
其二,适时地扩展知识。
根据教材和学生的实际情况,对书本上的内容加以合理的扩展和补充,让学生接触并学习更多的英语知识。

孩子天生好奇、爱动、注意力集中时间短,所以一些调皮的孩子一节课很难坚持下来,我们三年级有一个叫李阳的男孩,那天我上课上到一半他就开始不遵守课堂秩序了,四条腿的板凳,他只坐一条腿,身子扭来扭去,俨然一副无视课堂纪律的样子,不时东张西望看看其他同学,然后跟老师打小报告,“老师,某某同学手里在玩东西”,“老师,她在后面用笔戳我”,当我点名让某个同学回答问题时,他会第一时间说出他或她的外号,引得全班同学哄堂大笑,课堂秩序瞬间热闹过度,我本身是支持快乐轻松学习英语的,小学生嘛,就是得顺着他的天性来学习,可是快乐轻松的气氛,不是某个同学去取笑另外一个同学来获得的,而是积极与向上与英语学习有关的才好。
他所做的这一切,我全都注意到了,一面讲课,我一面思考,怎样处理这样一件始料未及的事情呢既要做到不伤害到孩子的自尊心,又不让他在同学面前丢失了面子,还得让他学好本节课的内容。
于是,我利用让同学们自己读课文的几分钟里,走到李阳同学面前悄声对他说,“李阳同学,你知道吗你的数学老师,语文老师,都说你这一段时间表现很好,上课认真听讲不做小动作了,也不打扰其他同学听课了,学习进步了很多,同学对你的评价也很好,说你是一位聪明好学的同学,那你的英语是不是也都学会了呢”他摇了摇头,有些不好意思低下头说:“没有”,我抓住时机紧接着说:“像你这样聪明的同学,肯定一学就会的,不信待会我们再学点新东西,看看你能不能学会,好不好啊”李阳同学很爽快的答应了“行,老师”,我接着说:“好,那就请把你的身体坐直,好好听老师讲课,我会随时注意你的。
”
我走向讲台又开始讲课,果然,这次他把注意力有集中到听课上了,我对他微笑了一下,表示我对他的鼓励,他表现得非常好,整节课下来,没有做小动作,也没有打扰其他同学听课。
通过这样的事件我自己也感悟到许多,作为老师,在教育教学中一定要善于运用自己的智慧,灵活机敏地处理一些事件,幽默含蓄地扭转尴尬局面,有效地处理课堂突发事件,只有这样,才能顺利的完成课堂教学任务,如果我当时当着全班同学的面训斥他,取笑他,那结果会怎样呢他会不会因为你的批评而讨厌你,害怕你,从此失去了学习英语的兴趣呢我不禁长长地舒了口气,幸好我没那样做。
好孩子是夸出来的,而不是批评、打骂出来的,或许你关心的话语会比你的批评强十倍。
将心比心,以诚待诚,天真无邪的孩子不会让你失望。
