Lesson 15 Making a Difference设计思路:本课为冀教版英语七年级Book2 第三单元的第3课。

本单元的教学内容围绕学校生活介绍展开,此类话题比较容易被学生接受,他们能够主动、积极地探究学习。

课前让学生对于本课需要掌握的单词和知识点进行预习并背诵,上课时先对此部分内容进行检测,确定学生知识的记忆情况,之后利用15分钟左右的时间让学生小组合作探究本课的难点内容及课文内容探究,知识点的探究结果由学生展示到黑板上,通过找出各组展示出来的内容进行对比,找出差异并引导学生分析正确的结论。

课文探究以表格为引导,先让学生精读课文,在理解课文的基础上完成表格,再以表格为依据,进行第三人称的复述课文。

之后通过课文中主人公的经历以Free Talk的形式对学生进行情感教育。

最后对本课的内容进行达标检测。

Lesson 15 Making a Difference说课稿一、说教材1、教材的地位和作用冀教版七年级英语下册第三单元是围绕“school life”这个话题展开的,Lesson 15是本单元的第三课时。

本课呈现了本册的核心语法项目之一-------“频度副词” always, usually, often, sometimes, never的应用。

因此,学好本课显得尤为重要。

2、学情分析从七年级学生已有的知识储备,生活经验和认知水平,他们对英语有着强烈的求知欲和好奇心,但学习目标不能及时体现。

通过课堂上一系列的任务练习,培养学生的学习能力,加深对知识巩固程度。

也采取发散性思维教学,鼓励学生大胆发言,将英语应用到实际。

3、教学目标结合上面对教材和学情的分析,根据新的英语课程标准,依据学生现有的知识水平和年龄、心理特点,确定本课的教学目标:(1)知识目标:a:熟练掌握词汇:difference, village, education, yourself, drop, possible, never, future b:学习并掌握短语:make a difference, give up, drop out of school and in the future.c:学习并掌握频度副词的应用。

(2)能力目标:学生能用英语讲述学校生活以及未来计划。

(3)德育目标:通过对本课的学习,培养学生对未来订立目标的能力,并近期努力在生活中有作为。

二、说教法为了使学生能有效掌握知识,又能达到活学活用的效果,我在选择教法时,注重遵循“教学有法、教无定法、贵在得法”的原则,我采取了任务型教学方法,紧抓学生思维,并引导学生通过小组合作解决问题的方式。

give up 意为“放弃”。

后接名词或动词的-ing形式作宾语。

give up doing sth.意为“放弃做某事”,如果代词作give up 的宾语则需放在中间,如give it up. Eg:His mother didn’t give up trying to help him.2. With a good education,you can make a difference.有了好的教育,你能有所作为。

make a difference意为“起作用,有影响”。

Eg:Who makes a difference in your life?3. She does not want anyone to drop out of school.她不想让任何人退学。

(1)want sb. to do sth.想要某人做某事Eg:I want you to tell the truth.(2)drop out of school 退学,辍学Eg;Why do you drop out of school?4. She always helps us in every possible way.她总是以任何可能的方式来帮助我们。
