Not to mention the increasing number of people going abroad,with a Chinese passport,they are entitled to travel around the world and e back home safely.But now I wonder how many of you have realized that this convenience,this sense of security does't e out of air,surely we could regard it as the product of reform and opening-uppolicies,nevertheless,do you really understand what are behind those achievements?There is a saying, if you live at ease , that is because there are a great many people who are working for you in silence.They might be the politicians and entrepreneurs who climb into the raging flow to explore and promote the system construction of market economy,they might be the intellectuals who devote their lives to prompting the engine of development,and they might be every single person we have access to.In other words,we youth do not take it for granted,the more resources we possess means the more responsibility we will shoulder.When the 95s were claimed to be the new youth in China and the first millennial stepped into campus,baton of the era has also been approaching.Although China is moving firmly towards its goal of rejuvenation ,deficiencies and problems still exist.So in this sense,we youth ought to grow stronger to sustain the potentiality of development.With the baton in hands,do not afraid toembrace the mercurial society ,do not afraid to change the future.So that as the new youth we could feel more emboldened to say that facing the reform and opening-up policies we are not only the gainers but also the successors!Thank you!决赛二等奖张亦弛Reform and Opening-up : Dare to embrace the worldGood afternoon everyone, my name is Jack. It’s my great privilege to stand here and share my own perspective about 40 ye ars’ reform and opening-up.Through the long history of China, reform is easy to witness. Some reforms just shifted the rulers’ name yet had little influence on the society. Others, however, can be revolutionary and our reform and opening-up policy is one of them.Born in 21st century, it is hard to have the exact feeling about the life before 1978.Luckily, I can grasp some information from my parents and my grandparents.On a personal note, the most impressive change that has occurred during th e 40 years is people’s concept of living, or to be specific, the concept of allocating their salary. For instance, Elder people like my grandparents always cut off their monthly budget and then save the surplus money into the bank account. While young adults are more likely to use the remaining salary to do some investment or with the loan ifnecessary. I did ask my grandparents why not follow suit, they told me it had risks that they didn’t want to take. Apparently, we stand in this period and all know that such kind of trade and investment is helpful to the economy ascent. Thanks to Mr. Deng’s policy, we can now dare to trade both domestically and internationally.Beside economy, swift development in other aspects is also prodigious. As you can see, Skyscrapers stand in the city and huts are no more. Cars take the main avenue and bikes step aside. Various travel modes are available for mon civilians. Imagine, what kind of condition we may live in if the reform and opening-up policy is absent? Do you want to live in the condition that was similar to forty years ago. Ok, back to the point, when mentioning transportation, you all know what I am going to talk about is our high speed-rail whose both speed and technology top all over the world. Dating back to 40 years ago, it is nearly impossible for people to imagine such changes can literally take place. Due to the reform and opening-up, I can now jump out of the well and embrace the world. Today I would like to begin with a story.There was once a physical therapist who traveled all the way from America to Africa to do a census about mountain gorillas. These gorillas are a main attraction to tourists from all over the world; this put them severely under threat of poaching and being put into the zoo. She went there out of curiosity, but what she saw strengthened her determination to devote her whole life to fighting for those beautiful creatures. But on the other hand, many problems can occur---natural scenes aren't natural anymore. Deforestation to heat lodges is devastating Nepal. Oil spills from tourist boats are polluting Antarctica. But I feel that I knew her from the garden she had so lovingly made over many decades.The house she lived in lies two miles from mine – a simple, two-story structure with the boxy plan, steeply-pitched roof and unadorned lines that are typical of houses built in the middle of the nineteenth century near the New Jersey shore.Her garden was equally simple. She was not a conventional gardener who did everything by the book, following the common advice to vary her plantings so there would be something in bloom from the first crocus in the spring to the last chrysanthemum in the fall. She had no respect for the rule that says that tall-growing plants belong at the rear of a perennial border, low ones in the front and middle-sized ones in the middle, with occasional exceptions for dramatic accent.In her garden, everything was accent, everything was tall, and the evidence was plain that she loved three kinds of plant and three only: roses, clematis and lilies, intermingled promiscuously to pleasant effect but no apparent design.She grew a dozen sorts of clematis, perhaps 50 plants in all, trained and tied so that they clambered up metal rods, each rod crowned intermittently throughout the summer by a rounded profusion of large blossoms of dark purple, rich crimson, pale lavender, light blue and gleaming white.Her taste in roses was old-fashioned. There wasn’t a single modern hybrid te a rose or floribunda in sight. Instead, she favored the roses of other ages – the York and Lancaster rose, the cabbage rose, the damask and the rugosa rose in several varieties. She propagated her roses herself from cuttings stuck directly in the ground and protected by upended gallon jugs.Lilies, I believe were her greatest love. Except for some Madonna lilies it is impossible to name them, since the wooden flats stood casually here and there in the flower bed, all thickly planted with dark green lily seedlings. The occasional paper tag fluttering from a seed pod with the date and record of a cross showed that she was an amateur hybridizer with some special fondness for lilies of a warm muskmelon shade or a pale lemon yellow.She believed in sharing her ga rden. By her curb there was a sign: “This is my garden, and you are welcome here. Take whatever you wish with your eyes, but nothing with your hand.”Until five years ago, her garden was always immaculately tended, the lawn kept fertilized and mowed, the flower bed free of weeds, the tall lilies carefully staked. But then something happened. I don’t know what it was, but the lawn was mowed less frequently, then not at all. Tall grass invaded the roses, the clematis, the lilies. The elm tree in her front yard sickened and died, and when a coastal gale struck, the branches that fell were never removed.With every year, the neglect has grown worse. Wild honeysuckle and bittersweet run rampant in the garden. Sumac, ailanthus, poison ivy and other uninvited things threaten the few lilies and clematis and roses that still struggle for survival.Last year the house itself went dead. The front door was padlocked and the windows covered with sheets of plywood. For many months there has been a for sale sign out front, replacing the sign inviting strangers to share her garden.I drive by that house almost daily and have been tempted to load a shovel in my car trunk, stop at her curb and rescue a few lilies from the smothering thicket of weeds. The laws of trespass and the fact that her house sits across the street from a police station have given me the cowardice to resist temptation. But her garden has reminded me of mortality; gardeners and the gardens they make are fragile things, creatures of time, hostages to chance and to decay.Last week, the for sale sign out front came down and the windows were unboarded. A crew of painters arrived and someone cut down the dead elm tree. This morning there was a moving van in the driveway unloading a swing set, a barbecue grill, a grand piano and a houseful of sensible furniture. 国际商学院第六届“铭泽杯”英语演讲大赛--To believe in hope！国际商学院一年一度的英语演讲大赛已经成功举办了五届，已先后推选出数十位优秀演讲达人，并且先后有优秀的选手代表我院参加了“CCTV”杯及“外研社”杯全国大学生英语演讲比赛辽宁赛区的复赛，取得了优异的成绩。

ICREEP发言稿尊敬的评委、各位嘉宾，大家好！我是XXX，今天非常荣幸能够站在这里，给大家分享关于ICREEP的主题演讲。

首先，我想和大家一起回顾一下ICREEP的历史和发展。

ICREEP（国际电子与电气工程专业联合会）成立于1995年，是一个非营利性的国际性学术组织。

从成立之初的几个创始成员，到如今汇聚了来自全球各地的140个国家和地区的近10万名会员，ICREEP经过多年的快速发展，已成为电子与电气工程领域的重要力量。

ICREEP致力于推动电子与电气工程领域的学术交流、合作和创新，为学术研究者提供一个广泛的交流平台。

每年，ICREEP都会组织世界性的国际会议，邀请来自全球各地的学者和专家齐聚一堂，分享他们在电子与电气工程领域的最新研究成果和应用实践。

在过去的几年里，ICREEP的会议规模不断扩大，议题内容也逐渐扩展到了人工智能、大数据、物联网等新兴领域。

这一切都反映了电子与电气工程领域的迅猛发展和变化，也表明了ICREEP始终与时俱进，积极适应新技术的变革。

今年，ICREEP以“创新、协作、可持续发展”为主题，再次迎来了新一届的国际会议。

本次会议将聚焦于电子与电气工程领域的前沿技术和研究新成果，同时还将探索电子与电气工程在未来社会可持续发展中的重要作用。

科技创新是推动社会进步的重要力量，而无线通信、互联网、半导体技术等电子与电气工程领域正是科技创新的核心驱动力。

过去几十年来，电子与电气工程领域取得了巨大的突破和进展，无论是通讯技术的革新、智能制造的兴起，还是能源的革命，都离不开电子与电气工程的贡献。

然而，随着科技的不断进步，电子与电气工程领域也面临了一些挑战和机遇。

首先，电子与电气工程领域的发展已经迈入了一个全新的阶段，需要更多的跨界合作和创新思维。

其次，人工智能、机器学习、大数据等新技术的兴起，为电子与电气工程领域带来了更多的新机遇，但也同时带来了更多的新问题和挑战。

因此，ICREEP本次会议的主题非常贴切和具有前瞻性。

目前没有工作经验，希望找到暑期实习的机会。

高中时我参加多门理科竞赛并获得省级奖项,但选择大学时我选择了保送北京外国语大学的商科,因为我觉得人生需要机遇与挑战,要敢于放下自己所熟悉的过去,不断探索学习自己还不知道的领域。

教育经历2010/9 --至今北京外国语大学工商管理国际商务本科这个专业的课程包括全英文授课的经济学科和管理学科的核心课程，应用工具类的高等数学线性代数统计学计算机多媒体以及编程，大量英语课程包括阅读写作口语等课程；在2013年春季学期我在瑞士西北应用科技大学做交流学生，课程根据ECTS转换为原有专业课的学分所获奖项2011/5 2012/6 校级优秀团员SIFE北方赛区优胜项目社会经验2011/3 -- 2012/10 社会实践志愿者帮助一个叫做北京有机农夫市集的公益组织做一些产品宣传，材料翻译，展卖什么的，推广有机食品和有机的理念。

与这个组织的接触一开始是源于SIFE的另一个项目关于屋顶绿化城市绿化的，后来我个人觉得这个组织很有公益价值，就不定期的参加他们的志愿者活动，为有机食品推广尽一份力校内职务2012/8 -- 2013/1 北外SIFE项目经理SIFE是一个非营利性质的学生商业社团，大致的思想就是做一些可以产生社会公益价值，同时可以产生足够的利润长期可持续发展下去的商业模式。

项目经理的职位大致就是负责设计和运营单个项目，带领10人左右的学生团队推进一个项目的成长。

我带领的团队主要是在做一个帮助下岗妇女通过制作手工艺品再就业的商业项目，在08年奥运的时候曾经有一个政府的巧娘项目用有类似的思想，但是由于市场需求有限和商业经验不足等原因，巧娘项目衰退的非常严重。
