The Four Seasons
Winter is cold and snowy. Snowflakes fall from the sky. I make snowmen and have snowball fights. I go sledding down hills. When I come inside, I drink hot chocolate to warm up.
Spring comes next after winter. The snow melts away. Flowers bloom and trees grow new leaves. Baby animals are born on farms. I can go outside without a heavy coat. I fly kites and pick flowers.
Summer is hot and sunny. School is out so I don't have classes. I go swimming in pools and lakes. I eat ice cream and popsicles. My family has picnics and barbecues. We go camping and catch fireflies at night.
In the fall, leaves change colors. The leaves are red, orange, yellow and brown. Apples and pumpkins grow on farms. I go apple picking and make apple pies. We carve jack-o-lanterns for Halloween. The weather gets cooler before winter comes again.

Winter is very cold. The trees have no leaves. It snows a lot. I like making snowmen and having snowball fights! But I don't like shoveling snow. Winter break is fun because I get no school. I can stay inside and drink hot chocolate.
Spring comes next after winter. The weather gets warmer. Plants start growing again. Flowers bloom and trees grow new leaves. Baby animals are born too! Everything looks pretty in spring. I have to go back to school though. Spring break is nice to get outside.
Then summer comes and it's hot! School lets out for the whole summer. I can go swimming and have picnics. The sun stays out late into the night. Fireflies come out at night which is magical. Summer is my favorite season. I hate when summer ends though.
After summer is fall. Leaves change colors like red, yellow and orange. They are beautiful but fall off trees. Pumpkins grow in fall too which is fun to carve. The weather cools down again. School starts back up which isn't fun. At least I can jump in leaf piles!
