TVS管的选型技巧:
(1)确定被保护电路的最大直流或连续工作电压、电路的额定标准电压和“高端”容限。
(2)TVS额定反向关断VWM应大于或等于被保护电路的最大工作电压。
若选用的
VWM太低,器件可能进入雪崩或因反向漏电流太大影响电路的正常工作。
串行连接分电压,并行连接分电流。
(3)TVS的最大钳位电压VC应小于被保护电路的损坏电压。
(4)在规定的脉冲持续时间内,TVS的最大峰值脉冲功耗PM必须大于被保护电路内可
能出现的峰值脉冲功率。
在确定了最大钳位电压后,其峰值脉冲电流应大于瞬态浪涌电流。
(5)对于数据接口电路的保护,还必须注意选取具有合适电容C的TVS器件。
(6)根据用途选用TVS的极性及封装结构。
交流电路选用双极性TVS较为合理;多线保护选用TVS阵列更为有利。
(7)温度考虑。
瞬态电压抑制器可以在-55℃~+150℃之间工作。
如果需要TVS在一个变化的温度工作,由于其反向漏电流ID是随增加而增大;功耗随TVS结温增加而下降,从+25℃~+175℃,大约线性下降50%雨击穿电压VBR随温度的增加按一定的系数增加。
因此,必须查阅有关产品资料,考虑温度变化对其特性的影响。

TVS管的应用原理,参数,命名法则以及选型1. 瞬态抑制二极管简称TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor ),TVS的电气特性由P-N结面积,参杂浓度及晶片阻质决定的。
其耐突波电流的能力与其P-N结面积成正比。
特点:反映速度快(为pS级),体积小,箝位电压低,可靠性高。
10/1000μs波脉冲功率从400W~30000W,脉冲峰值电流从几安~几百安。
常用的TVS管的击穿电压有从5V到550V的系列值。
且可靠性高,在TVS 管规范之工作范围内,性能可靠,不易劣化,使用寿命长。
原理: TVS用于瞬间突波之抑制,与受保护器件并联。
在正常工作状态下,TVS对受保护线路呈高阻抗状态,当瞬间电压超过其击穿电压时,TVS就提供一个低阻抗的路径予瞬间电流。
使得流向被保护元器件的瞬间电流转而分流到TVS二极管,而受保护元器件两端的电压被限制在TVS两端的箝制电压(Clamping Voltage)。
当这个过压条件消失后,TVS二极管又将恢复到高阻抗状态。
应用:TVS广泛应用于半导体及敏感零件的保护,二级电源和信号电路的保护,以及防静电等。
2. 命名法则TVS管的型号由三部分组成:系列名+电压值+单/双向符号系列名代表不同的峰值脉冲功率和封装形式①SMAJ、SMBJ、SMCJ、SMDJ表示贴片封装:分别代表的峰值脉冲功率为400W、600W、1500W和3000W;②其它系列名表示同轴引线封装:P4KE为400W、P6KE为600W、1.5KE为1500W,SA为500W、3KP为3000W,其余类推(型号名KP或KPA前面的数字表示kW数)。
系列名后的数字代表击穿电压标称值或反向断态电压值①P4KE、P6KE、1.5KE系列中代表击穿电压标称值(VBR);②其它系列中代表反向断态电压值(VRWM)。
A表示单向,CA表示双向。
注意:SAC(500W)、LCE (1500W)系列是低电容的TVS管,只有单向,没有双向。

TVS瞬变二极管(瞬态电压抑制器)主要特性参数和选用注意事项瞬变二极管是一种二极管形式的高效能保护器件,具有极快的响应时间和相当高的浪涌吸收能力。
当TVS二极管的两端受到反向瞬态过压脉冲时,能以极高的速度把两端间的高阻抗变为低阻抗,以吸收瞬间大电流,并将电压箝制在预定数值,从而有效保护电路中的元器件免受损坏。
本文讲述了TVS器件的主要特性参数和选用注意事项,同时给出了TVS在电路设计中的应用方法。
1 TVS二极管的特性及主要参数1.1 TVS二极管的器件特性在规定的反向应用条件下,TVS二极管对受保护的线路呈高阻抗状态。
当瞬间电压超过其击穿电压时,TVS二极管就会提供一个低阻抗的路径,并通过大电流方式使流向被保护元器件的瞬间电流分流到TVS二极管,同时将受保护元器件两端的电压限制在TVS 的箝制电压。
当过压条件消失后,TVS二极管又恢复到高阻抗状态。
与陶瓷电容相比,TV S可以承受15 kV的电压,但陶瓷贴片电容对高压的承受能力比较弱。
5 kV的冲击就会造成约10%陶瓷电容失效,而到10 kV时,其损坏率将高达到60%。
1.2 TVS二极管的主要参数(1)最小击穿电压VBR当TVS流过规定的电流时,TVS两端的电压称为最小击穿电压,在此区域,TV S呈低阻抗的通路。
在25℃时,低于这个电压,TVS是不会发生雪崩击穿的。
(2)额定反向关断电压VWMVWM是TVS在正常状态时可承受的电压,此电压应大于或等于被保护电路的正常工作电压。
但它又需要尽量与被保护电路的正常工作电压接近,这样才不会在TVS工作以前使整个电路面对过压威胁。
按TVS的VBR与标准值的离散度,可把VBR分为5%和10%两种,对于5%的VBR来说,VWM=0.85VBR腿;而对于10%的VBR来说,VW M=0.81VBR。
(3)最大峰值脉冲电流IPPIPP是TVS在反向状态工作时,在规定的脉冲条件下,器件允许通过的最大脉冲峰值电流。

TVS(瞬变抑制)二极管参数与选型TVS管的英文名是TRANSIENT VOLTAGE SUPPRESSOR,中文名叫瞬变抑制二极管。
它在承受瞬间高能量脉冲时,能在极短的内由原来的高阻抗状态变为低阻抗,并把电压箝制到特定的水平,从而有效的保护用户的设备和元器件不受损坏。
由于其具有箝位电压低、动作时间快等特点;因此比较适合于多级保护电路的末级保护。
此外也能和其它保护元件配合使用,组成专用的防雷装置。

但这条曲线只反映了TVS特性的一个部分,还必须补充下图所示的特性曲线,才能反映TVS的全部特性。
这是在双踪示波器上观察到的TVS管承受大电流冲击时的电流及电压波形。
图中曲线1是TVS管中的电流波形,它表示流过TVS管的电流由1mA突然上升到峰值,然后按指数规律下降,造成这种电流冲击的原因可能是雷击、过压等。
曲线2是TVS管两端电压的波形,它表示TVS中的电流突然上升时,TVS两端电压也随之上升,但最大只上升到VC值,这个值比击穿电压VBR略大,从而对后面的电路元件起到保护作用。
TVS在电路中和稳压管一样,是反向使用的。
2.参数说明A.击穿电压(VBR):TVS在此时阻抗骤然降低,处于雪崩击穿状态。
B.测试电流(IT):TVS的击穿电压VBR在此电流下测量而得。
一般情况下IT取1mA。
C.反向变位电压(VRWM):TVS的最大额定直流工作电压,当TVS两端电压继续上升,TVS将处于高阻状态。
此参数也可被认为是所保护电路的工作电压。
D.最大反向漏电流(IR):在工作电压下测得的流过TVS的最大电流。
E.最大峰值脉冲电流(IPP):TVS允许流过的最大浪涌电流,它反映了TVS的浪涌抑制能力。
F.最大箝位电压(VC):当TVS管承受瞬态高能量冲击时,管子中流过大电流,峰值为IPP,端电压由VRWM值上升到VC值就不再上升了,从而实现了保护作用。
