每单元分“ABC”三个部分,共10页。
复习单元为4页。
教师可以根据学生的实际情况,有选择地、灵活地安排教学内容,有针对性地设计课堂教学活动,以保证教学实施适度合理。

(一)强大的视觉冲击。
与PEP旧版教材相比,继续以几位主要人物为线索进行全册的教学,本版本册书的9个主人公中有8个和旧版的人物名称相同,将Mr Black变为Mr Johnes,人物名字虽然一致,但头像有变化,新版的画面感和立体感更强,而旧版更突出了清晰的线条,可能新版教材人物简笔画比旧版的难一些,偏向了漫画的性质。
(二)自主性和开放性更强。
新版教材中少了旧版教材中的Good to know和Task Time,没有了专门的文化板块和制作实践板块,需要老师深入挖掘教材的内涵,对老师的要求提高了,但同时,也使得教材更加自主和开放。
老师们可以根据自己的需求及本地、本班学生的实际学情进行文化和实践活动的教学。
(三)更细致。
