从语法和词汇方面来说,本单元在Unit Two 的基础上继续学习一般过去时,Unit Two重点学习动词过去式的规则变化形式,Unit Three重点学习动词过去式的不规则变化形式。
从话题方面来说,Unit Two着重谈论上周末和小长假的经历,本单元则谈论过去的寒暑假的旅行经历,教材用两个单元的课量让学生从各个话题方向谈论个人经历,从而学习、拓展对一般过去时的使用。
学情分析:六年级学生经过小学将近六年的英语学习,已经掌握了大量的词汇和短语,对一般现在时、现在进行时、一般将来时能熟练应用。
经过上一个单元的学习,学生已对一般过去时有了初步认识和了解,能和之前学过的三个时态区分正确使用,尤其对动词过去式的变化规则有了明确概念。
经过Part A Let’s talk和Let’s learn的学习,学生对不规则动词已经掌握。
教学目标:1.学生能够在老师的帮助下,借助图片,理解对话大意,并能回答老师提出的问题。
2.能够在语境中理解生词beach的意思,并能正确发音。
3.能通过对话理解海南三亚的海岛风光。

4.Listen and say. 学生跟读短语之后,接下来,教师继续播放课件,呈现音频,播放音频,学生听音频,说词汇,训练听与说的能力。
5.Let’s read. 学生打开课本P25,认读本节课Let’s learn 部分的内容,在这个环节,教师需要观察与留意学生哪些内容不够熟悉,加以引导与巩固。
6.Quick response. 学生认读单词之后,接下来,教师继续播放课件,呈现词汇:rode a horse, rode a bike, went fishing, went camping, hurt my foot,学生看到闪动的词汇,就大声说出来,训练反应与说的能力,每个短语会出现4次,所以,学生有4次读词汇的机会。
