1.Teaching objects:
By the end of this lesson, most students are expected:
To understand and use the core vocabulary: too many, too much, too little and too few.
eg. Danny always eats too much fast food. He is unhealthy.
To understand and use the sentence pattern “used to…” to describe habitual actions in the past.
eg. I used to play too many computer games.
To use the simple present tense to express habitual actions with “not…any longer”.
eg. I do n’t watch too much TV any longer.
To know that it is easier to fall into bad habits than to form good ones. So we must develop good habits as soon as possible.
2.Teaching focus:
Using the sentence pattern “used to…”to describe habitual actions in the past.
Using the simple present tense to express habitual actions with “not…any longer”.
