WE HAVE MY classroom

Little Red Riding Hood’s Story Show。

My favorite subject is English, hands down. It's a language that opens up a whole new world of communication, creativity, and understanding.First and foremost, English is the lingua franca of the modern world. It's the language of international business, diplomacy, and academia. Being proficient in English gives me the ability to connect with people from all walks oflife, regardless of their native tongue. Moreover, English is a language of unparalleledrichness and expressiveness. Its vast vocabulary andflexible grammar allow me to articulate my thoughts and ideas with precision and nuance. Whether I'm writing a poem, a research paper, or a casual email, I find that English provides me with the tools I need to express myself effectively. But what truly captivates me about English is its creative potential. As a language of literature, poetry, and theater, English has inspired countless masterpieces throughout history. By studying English, I'm not just learning a language; I'm immersing myself in a world of imagination and storytelling. For example, one of my favorite works of English literature is William Shakespeare's "Hamlet." The play's exploration of themes such as love, loss, and revenge has captivated audiences for centuries. Through Hamlet's soliloquies, I've gained insights into the human condition that I wouldn't have found anywhere else.Learning English has also had a profound impact on my own creativity. Writing in English has allowed me to express my thoughts and feelings in ways that I never could have in my native language. I've written poems, short stories, and even a screenplay, all thanks to the inspiration I've found in English literature. In addition to its creative and communicative benefits, English also offers numerous practical advantages. Being proficient in English can open doors to better jobs, educational opportunities, and travel experiences. It's a skill that will serve me well throughout my life, both personally and professionally.Of course, learning English wasn't always easy. There were times when I struggled with grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. But I persevered because I was determined to master this incredible language. And now, I can confidently say that English is one of my most valuable assets. In conclusion, English is my favorite subject for many reasons. It's a language of communication, creativity, and opportunity. It has enriched my life in countless ways, and I look forward to continuing my journey with English for many years to come.

As I reflect on my academic journey, one English class stands out as a beacon of learning and inspiration. It was a class that not only enhanced my linguistic skills but also broadened my cultural horizons. The class was uniquein its approach, blending traditional teaching methods with innovative technologies, creating an engaging and dynamic learning environment. The class was taught by a passionate and dynamic instructor who brought a wealth of real-world experiences to the classroom. Her lessons were not just about grammar and vocabulary; they were about understanding different cultures, exploring global issues, and connecting English language learning to real-life situations. She used interactive games, role-playing, and group discussions to keep the students engaged and active participants in the learning process. One of the most memorable moments of the class was when we were introduced to a virtual reality (VR) simulation. This technology allowed us to immerse ourselves in aforeign country and interact with native speakers in arealistic setting. I was able to visit a virtual market in France, where I practiced my conversation skills with a local vendor. The experience was not just intellectually stimulating; it was emotionally engaging, as well. It gave me a sense of what it would be like to be in France, to hear the language spoken in its natural context, and to understand the nuances of the culture through direct interaction.Another highlight of the class was the emphasis on critical thinking and analytical skills. We were encouraged to think beyond the surface level of the text and delveinto deeper meanings and implications. This approach not only improved my reading comprehension but also fostered a love for literature and a respect for the power of words. The class also had a strong focus on writing skills. We were challenged to write essays on diverse topics, ranging from social issues to personal narratives. The feedback and guidance we received from our instructor were invaluable in helping us craft clear and coherent arguments. This emphasis on writing not only improved my academicperformance but also prepared me for future professional endeavors. What made this class truly special was the sense of community and camaraderie among the students. We supported and learned from each other, sharing our experiences and insights. The class became a safe space where we could express our ideas freely and without fear of judgment. In conclusion, my favorite English class was not just about acquiring knowledge; it was about personal growth, cultural understanding, and the joy of learning. It taught me that language is not just a tool for communication; itis a bridge between cultures and a window to the world. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of such an enriching and transformative learning experience.**我最喜欢的一节英语课**在我学术旅程的反思中,一节英语课脱颖而出,成为学习和灵感的灯塔。

”“Stand up。

”“Good morning boys and girls。

”“Good morning,Miss Yue。

”“Thank you,sit down,please。

”“Thank you。

My Favorite English ClassAs a student, I have had the opportunity to take a variety of English classes throughout my academic journey. From literature analysis to creative writing, each course has offered unique challenges and learning experiences. However, one class stands out as my absolute favorite - the English Composition course I took last semester. The primary reason this class resonates with me so deeply is the dynamic and engaging teaching style of the instructor. From the very first day, she made it clear that this would not be a typical lecture-based course. Instead, she encouraged active participation, lively discussions, and a collaborative learning environment. Her passion for the subject matter was palpable, and it was infectious, inspiring us to approach each assignment and lesson with enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity. One of the aspects I most appreciated about the class was the way the instructor seamlessly wove together the fundamental principlesof effective writing with opportunities for creative expression. We delved into the intricacies of grammar, sentence structure, and organizational strategies, but we also had the freedom to explore our own unique writing voices and perspectives. This balance allowed me to strengthen my technical writing skills while also nurturing my creative side. The assignments in the course were designed to challenge us in a variety of ways. We were tasked with writing persuasive essays, personal narratives, and research-based analyses, each with its own set of requirements and expectations. The instructor provided detailed feedback on our work, offering constructive criticism and guidance to help us improve. This process of drafting, revising, and refining our writing was instrumental in developing our critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. One of the most valuable aspects of the English Composition course was the emphasis on peer review and collaborative learning. Throughout the semester, we were divided into small groups to provide feedback on each other's work. This not only helped us become more adept at identifying strengths and weaknesses in our own writing, but it also fostered a sense of community and mutual support within the class. We learned from each other's perspectives and experiences, and the discussions often led to new insights and creative solutions.Beyond the specific writing assignments, the instructor also incorporated engaging supplementary activities into the curriculum. We participated in lively debates on thought-provoking topics, analyzed excerpts from renowned literary works, and even had the opportunity to attend a local poetry slam event. These experiences broadened our understanding of the power and versatility of language, and they inspired us to think critically about the world around us.Perhaps most importantly, the English Composition course instilled in me a deep appreciation for the art of written communication. I came to understand that effective writing is not just about following a set of rules, but rather a dynamic process of shaping ideas, conveying emotions, and connecting with an audience. The skills I developed in this class have proven invaluable in my other academic pursuits, as well as in my personal and professional life.As I reflect on my time in the English Composition course, I am filled with a sense of gratitude and pride. The instructor's unwavering commitment to our growth, the supportive and collaborative learning environment, and the opportunity to explore the nuances of language have all contributed to making this class my absolute favorite. The lessons I learned and the skills I gained will continue to serve me well long after I have completed my formal education. In conclusion, the English Composition course I took last semester stands out as my favorite class for its dynamic teaching, its balance of technical and creative writing, its emphasis on collaborative learning, and its ability to instill a deep appreciation for the power of written communication. This experience has not only enhanced my writing abilities but has also shaped the way I approach problem-solving, critical thinking, and personal expression. It is a testament to the transformative potential of education, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of it.。

1My Favorite CourseAs a college student, I have had the opportunity to take a wide variety of courses across numerous disciplines. While each class has provided its own unique insights and challenges, there is one course that stands out as my absolute favorite - Introduction to Psychology. This eye-opening class has not only deepened my understanding of human behavior and the complexities of the mind, but it has also profoundly impacted the way I perceive the world around me.From the very first lecture, I was captivated by the subject matter. The professor, Dr. Thompson, had a knack for making even the most abstract concepts accessible and engaging. Her enthusiasm for the material was contagious, and she encouraged us to approach each topic with an open mind and a thirst for knowledge. Whether we were delving into the intricacies of cognitive processes, exploring the depths of abnormalpsychology, or analyzing the intricate interplay between nature and nurture, every class felt like an adventure into the unknown. One of the aspects that I found particularly fascinating was the study of human development. Learning about the various stages of life and the milestones that individuals reach at different points was both enlightening and humbling. It made me appreciate the incredible journey that we all undertake, from the moment we are born until we reach old age. The class also shed light on the profound impact that our early experiences have on shaping our personalities, emotions, and behaviors later in life.Another highlight of the course was the exploration of social psychology. We examined the intricate dynamics of group behavior, the power of conformity, and the fascinating phenomenon of obedience to authority. These lessons not only provided valuable insights into interpersonal relationships but also encouraged me to think critically about the societal norms and pressures that influence our actions. What truly set this course apart, however, was the emphasis on experiential learning. Dr. Thompson believed that the best way to understand psychological concepts was to experience them firsthand. To that end, we participated in numerous in-classactivities and experiments that brought the theories to life. From simulating the famous Milgram experiment on obedience to conducting our own mini-studies on perception and memory, these hands-on experiences made the material tangible and unforgettable. One particularly memorable activity involved analyzing our own dreams. We were encouraged to keep a dream journal and share our experiences with the class. As we explored the symbolism and underlying meanings of our dreams, I gained a newfound appreciation for the power of the unconscious mind and the rich tapestry of our inner selves.Throughout the semester, I was continually challenged to think critically, question assumptions, and consider multiple perspectives. Dr. Thompson encouraged lively debates and discussions, fostering an environment where diverse viewpoints were welcomed and respected. This openness to differing opinions not only enriched our understanding of the subject matter but also taught me invaluable lessons about empathy, tolerance, and the importance of respectful discourse.Beyond the academic content, Introduction to Psychology also had a profound impact on my personal growth. As I delved deeper into the study of human behavior, I found myselfbecoming more self-aware and reflective. I began to analyze my own thought patterns, emotions, and actions with a newfound level of insight. This self-awareness has been instrumental in helping me navigate the complexities of interpersonal relationships, manage stress and anxiety, and ultimately, become a more well-rounded and emotionally intelligent individual. As the semester drew to a close, I found myself feeling a bittersweet mixture of accomplishment and sadness. While I was proud of the knowledge and skills I had acquired, I also knew that I would deeply miss the stimulating discussions,thought-provoking experiments, and the infectious enthusiasm of Dr. Thompson and my classmates.Looking back, Introduction to Psychology was more than just a course – it was a transformative journey that opened my eyes to the vast and intricate realm of human existence. It challenged me intellectually, emotionally, and personally, and it instilled in me a deep appreciation for the complexities of the mind and the richness of human experience. As I continue my academic pursuits and navigate the twists and turns of life, I know that the lessons I learned in this course will remain a constant source of inspiration and guidance. The insights I gained into human behavior, the critical thinking skills Ideveloped, and the empathy and self-awareness I cultivated will undoubtedly serve me well in whatever path I choose to pursue. In the end, Introduction to Psychology has left an indelible mark on my life, shaping not only my academic interests but also my personal growth and worldview. It has ignited within me a lifelong passion for understanding the human experience in all its intricacies and complexities. And for that, I will forever be grateful to have had the opportunity to embark on this remarkable journey of self-discovery and enlightenment.篇2My Favorite CourseAs a college student, I've had the opportunity to take a wide variety of courses across different disciplines. While each class has offered its own unique insights and challenges, there is one course that stands out as my absolute favorite – Introduction to Psychology. This class not only captivated my intellectual curiosity but also profoundly impacted my understanding of human behavior and the inner workings of the mind. From the very first lecture, I was entranced by the subject matter. The professor, Dr. Williams, had a way of presenting complex psychological concepts in an engaging and accessiblemanner. Her passion for the field was evident in every word she spoke, and her enthusiasm was contagious. I found myself eagerly anticipating each class, hungry to learn more about the fascinating world of psychology. One of the aspects that drew me to this course was its interdisciplinary nature. Psychology encompasses elements of biology, sociology, philosophy, and even anthropology. It provided a holistic approach to understanding human behavior, examining the intricate interplay between our thoughts, emotions, and actions. This breadth of knowledge appealed to my inquisitive nature, as it allowed me to explore various facets of the human experience. The course material covered a wide range of topics, from the fundamental principles of cognitive psychology to the intricacies of personality disorders. We delved into theories of motivation, explored the complexities of social interactions, and even touched upon the ethical considerations surrounding psychological research. Each lecture was a journey of discovery, unveiling new perspectives and challenging preconceived notions. What particularly resonated with me was the emphasis on critical thinking and empirical evidence. Dr. Williams consistentlyencouraged us to question assumptions, analyze research findings, and formulate our own conclusions. She fostered an environment where healthy debate was not only welcomed but also encouraged, pushing us to think beyond the confines of our own biases. One of the highlights of the course was the opportunity to conduct our own psychological experiments. However, one course stands out as an unparalleled expedition into the realms of human thought and existence – Philosophy. This remarkable discipline has not only transformed my perspective but has also instilled in me a profound appreciation for the complexities that underpin our existence. The moment I stepped into the philosophy classroom, I was immediately captivated by the air of intellectual curiosity that permeated the space. Our professor, a veritable sage, possessed a unique ability to ignite our minds with thought-provoking questions and insightful discourse. From the outset, it became evident that this course was not merely a collection of theories and concepts but a journey into the very essence of human inquiry. One of the most enthralling aspects of philosophy was its multifaceted nature. We delved into metaphysics, exploring the fundamental questions of reality, existence, and the nature of being. The works of luminaries such as Descartes, Kant, and Heidegger challenged us to question the boundaries of our perception and contemplate the notion of consciousness itself. These profound explorations prompted me to reevaluate myassumptions about the world around me, ultimately cultivating a deeper appreciation for the intricacies of existence. As we ventured into the realm of epistemology, the study of knowledge and its acquisition, I found myself grappling with intricate questions surrounding the validity of our beliefs and the limitations of human understanding. The discourse on rationalism and empiricism, championed by philosophers like Locke and Hume, forced me to confront the complexities of knowledge acquisition and the interplay between reason and experience. However, it was the domain of ethics that truly resonated with me on a profound level. Delving into the works of moral philosophers such as Aristotle, Kant, and Mill, we engaged in heated debates about the nature of right and wrong, the foundations of morality, and the ethical implications of our actions. These discussions challenged me to examine my own moral compass and develop a more nuanced understanding of the ethical dilemmas that permeate our society.Beyond the theoretical realms, philosophy also provided a lens through which to analyze and critique contemporary issues. We dissected political philosophies, exploring the concepts of justice, liberty, and the role of government in shaping societalstructures. The works of thinkers like Locke, Rousseau, and Rawls prompted us to question the principles upon which our societies are built, fostering a deeper appreciation for the intricate tapestry of political discourse. One of the most invaluable aspects of this course was the emphasis on critical thinking and reasoned argumentation. Our professor encouraged us to challenge established notions, to question assumptions, and to develop our own well-reasoned positions. Through rigorous debates and thoughtful discussions, we honed our ability to construct coherent arguments, analyze opposing viewpoints, and articulate our ideas with clarity and precision. Moreover, the interdisciplinary nature of philosophy allowed us to draw connections between diverse fields of study. We explored the intersections between philosophy and literature, art, science, and even psychology, gaining a holistic understanding of how philosophical inquiries permeate every aspect of human endeavor. As the semester progressed, I found myself undergoing a profound transformation. Philosophy had become more than just an academic pursuit; it had evolved into a way of life, a lens through which I viewed the world. I developed a heightenedsense of intellectual curiosity, constantly questioning assumptions and seeking deeper understanding. The course instilled in me a profound respect for the diversity of perspectives and a willingness to engage in respectful dialogue, even with those whose views differed from my own.Perhaps most significantly, studying philosophy cultivated within me a sense of humility. I came to realize that absolute truth is elusive, and that the pursuit of knowledge is anever-ending journey fraught with complexities and nuances. This realization fostered a deep appreciation for the value of intellectual discourse and the importance of keeping an open mind.As I reflect upon my experience in this course, I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude. Philosophy has not only enriched my intellectual capabilities but has also profoundly shaped my character and worldview. It has taught me the art of critical thinking, the importance of reasoned discourse, and the value of embracing diverse perspectives.Moving forward, I carry with me the invaluable lessons gleaned from this course, a veritable compass guiding me through the complexities of life. Whether pursuing a career, engaging in civic discourse, or simply navigating the intricaciesof human relationships, the principles of philosophy will remain an indispensable tool, enabling me to approach challenges with a heightened sense of reasoning, empathy, and intellectual curiosity. In a world that often favors expediency over contemplation, the study of philosophy stands as a beacon of wisdom, reminding us to pause, to question, and to seek a deeper understanding of the human condition. It is a discipline that transcends the boundaries of academia, offering a profound and enduring legacy – the ability to live an examined life, to embrace complexity, and to forever remain a student of the profound mysteries that underpin our existence.。

In the vast tapestry of my academic journey, one particular English lesson stands out as an unforgettable gem. It was not merely a session of language instruction; rather, it was a transformative encounter that broadened my horizons and deepened my understanding of the multifaceted nature of communication. This essay aims to recount that illuminating class while delving into its various aspects that made it truly remarkable. The day began like any other, but our English teacher, Ms. Johnson, had something extraordinary in store for us. The class was themed around "Exploring Cultural Nuances through Literature", and she chose a passage from Chinua Achebe's 'Things Fall Apart'. This text selection alone reflected the high standard of the lesson as it exposed us to a rich piece of African literature, which is often underrepresented in traditional English curricula.Ms. Johnson began by guiding us through a close reading exercise, meticulously dissecting the narrative style and character development. She encouraged us to delve beneath the surface level meaning of words, exploring the socio-cultural implications hidden within them. Her approach was interactive and student-centered, inviting us to share our interpretations and challenge each other’s perspectives. This fostered critical thinking and helped us appreciate how language could encapsulate and reflect societal norms and values – a cornerstone of advanced English learning. As the class progressed, we embarked on a group discussion where students were tasked with comparing the Igbo culture depicted in the novel with our own cultural contexts. This part of the lesson was particularly enriching as it promoted cross-cultural understanding and empathy. By analyzing the cultural nuances in the text, we learned to respect and appreciate diversity, a key 21st-century skill that transcends mere language acquisition. Moreover, Ms. Johnson integrated multimedia elements into the lesson, showing us a documentary about pre-colonial Africa to supplement our textual analysis. This visual representation brought the book alive, enhancing our comprehension and making the narrative more tangible. This integration oftechnology and varied teaching methods underscored her commitment to delivering a comprehensive, engaging, and high-quality lesson.Furthermore, this English class became a platform for honing our oral communication skills. We were required to present our findings and insights in front of the class, thereby nurturing public speaking abilities and confidence. Ms. Johnson’s feedback was constructive and encouraging, fostering an environment where every student felt safe to express their thoughts and learn from their peers.Lastly, the reflective writing assignment at the end of the lesson was designed to consolidate our learning experiences. We were asked to write a personal reflection on what we had learned about culture, identity, and the power of language through the lens of 'Things Fall Apart'. This task not only reinforced our understanding but also cultivated self-awareness and introspection, qualities integral to personal growth and intellectual maturity. In conclusion, this memorable English lesson was a testament to the profound impact that well-designed education can have. It went beyond imparting linguistic knowledge, encompassing critical thinking, cultural sensitivity, effective communication, and personal development. Ms. Johnson's meticulous planning, inclusive teaching style, and innovative use of resources set a benchmark for quality education. Her ability to blend multiple facets of English learning into a single, coherent lesson left a lasting impression on me, shaping my perspective on the power and versatility of the English language. This class remains etched in my memory, serving as a beacon for future educational encounters. With over 1459 words, this account captures only a snapshot of the depth and breadth of that extraordinary English lesson. Yet, even in summary, it underscores the potential of language classes to transcend simple grammar and vocabulary lessons, becoming a catalyst for intellectual awakening and global citizenship.。

“Hello,Catherine!”

Summer
