这些内容都是与学生日常生活紧密相关的，学生很熟悉，也乐于去说，因此在这一课题的教学过程中，我将紧密联系学生生活实际，采用多种方式，以说为主，以对话为途径，解决本课题的中心对话。
通过学习谈论交通工具,为今后学习合理安排行程,合理选用交通工具以及设计实践调查报告并提出解决问题的简单方案奠定基础,同时通过How do you get to school? I take the bus. How far is it…? How long does it take?以及pairwork和groupwork的反复操练，进一步提高学生听、说、读、写综合素质能力。
二、学生分析本课的教学对象是七年级学生, 他们在英语知识上有一定的积累, 学习热情较高, 表现欲强。
教学中, 所以我根据学生的特点, 设计了一些轻松、有趣的活动, 调动他们的积极性, 让学生在感知、体验和参与中获取知识, 形成能力。
1.七年级学生的思维特点: 抽象思维能力较低, 形象思维能力强, 但注意力容易分散。
本课采用多种形式展示, 并配以丰富的色彩, 从而增强学生的兴趣和注意力。
2、七年级学生的学习心理特点: 对英语普遍感兴趣, 但有很大的不稳定性, 好奇心强, 求知欲旺盛, 已不满足教师对课文的简单重复。
在本课教学过程中, 在注重启发引导, 培养学生分析、概括能力的同时, 更要注重教学方法的灵活性, 通过任务型教学法, 情景交际法, 全身反应教学法等, 激发学生学习的兴趣, 让学生乐于接受, 易于接受。
3、本单元学情剖析：本单元的主题是谈论乘坐不同的交通工具及到达目的地所需要的时间, 可以采用活动教学法和Role pla ying的学习策略, 学习新词汇, 掌握重点句型, 同时能比较好地运用到实践中, 解决类似问题。
做到既能巩固所学知识, 又能提高解决问题的能力以及综合运用语言能力。
4、七年级学生的英语水平：在经过七年级上学期的英语学习后, 已经有了一定的英语基础知识和听说能力和运用语言知识的能力, 正逐渐向读写过渡, 同时, 学生们对英语学习还保持着较浓厚的兴趣。

所以，在教学开始之前如将学习者的起点定得太高，会脱离学习者的实际水平，就会降低教学效果，使学习者在高难度的学习内容面前望而却步；如将学习者的起点定得太低，也脱离学习者的实际水平，会造成时间和精力的浪费，使学习者在低水平的内容上做无效的劳动，长此以往，就会降低学习者的学习兴趣。
因此，比较准确的确定学习者的起点能力，可在一定程度上提高教学效率，收到良好的教学效果。
所以我们要充分认识学生，确定教学思路。
现在学生的学习渠道越来越宽了，他们在学习新知识前，已经有了相当丰富的生活经验和实践积累。
关键在于我们教师如何去充分估计和了解学生的这些已有积累作为学生的学习起点，促进学生的有效学习。
所以针对以上情况，采取以下措施：1 .及时帮助，以防为主教学应面向全体同学，争取做到人人基本达标。
在教学过程中学生学习出现差距是不可避免的。
一旦出现，就应该及时找学生谈，分析他们掉队的原因，课下及时找她们谈话，了解她们的内心想法。
同时给予学习方法的指导，耐心帮助他们补习功课。
对于这些有可能掉队的学生，及早指出，说明掉队的严重后果，做到防患于未然。
