Look at the birds.
Where are they going?
Wild geese fly from north to south in winter. They fly from south to north in spring. Do you know why?
Some animals migrate. Some animalsof animals migrating. I saw pictures of animals hibernating. I did an experiment.
Which animals migrate? Which animals hibernate? Draw lines.
What do animals do to keep warm in the winter? Sing the song.
Cows and sheep are happy, living on the farm. In the winter they sleep in a stable to keep warm. Birds fly in the sky, they make nests on the farm. But in the winter they fly south where it is very warm. Martha Mouse lives here. She lives here on the farm. In the winter she sleeps in the hay to keep herself warm.
Some animals move from one place to another at a regular time. This is called “migration”.
Winter is coming. Harry Hedgehog and Martha Mouse feel cold. What can they do?
