Unit1.语言点导学:
1.、have a word with sb. 与某人说句话。

Could you tell him I’d like to have a word with him?
你能告诉他我要跟他说话吗?
2、be in trouble陷入困境。

…he’ll be in deep trouble. …他将会有很大麻烦。

trouble在此句中为名词,表示“麻烦的事,烦扰”等意思。

He . Let’s help him. 他现在在困境中,让我们去帮帮他吧。

3. Give it to me! 把它给我!
有些及物动词如pass, lend, hand, give, tell, sing, read, write, throw, buy, leave, make, get等可以有双宾语,这两个宾语一个指人,另一个指物。

指人的叫间接宾语,指物的叫直接宾语,一般间宾在前,直宾在后。

如:My aunt . 我姑奶给了我一块表。

如果把直宾放在间宾之前,间宾前要加介词to或for.
(1)加介词to的主要动词有:give, bring, lend, pass, show, teach, tell等。

Bring .把你们的婴儿带给李磊。

(2)加for的主要动词有:buy, cook, do, find, get, leave, make, play等。

My mother bought one me. 妈妈为我买了一件漂亮的生日礼物。

4、The cartoons I like have lots of jokes.
该句中的I like就是一个定语从句,先行词是cartoons,关系代词that/which被省略了。

在英语中,如果定语从句的引导词在从句中作宾语就可以省略,无论从句修饰的是人还是物。

This is the teacher (who) you want to see.
1.We need someone like Superman who can save Tony….
这是一个主从复合句,who can save Tony 是一个定语从句,先行词是Superman.这里的关系代词who不能省去,因为它是作从句的主语。

Like Superman 是介词短语作定语,修饰someone.
I know the man who is playing basketball on the playground.
5.If Tony tells his dad that he’s lost the camera he borrowed,he’ll be in deep trouble.
这是一个多重复合句,主句是he’ll be in deep trouble;if 引导的是一个条件状语从句;that引导的是宾语从句,作tell的直接宾语;he borrowed 是一个定语从句,先行词是camera,关系代词that或which作borrow 的宾语,被省略了。

6. win the heart of 赢得……的心
Mickey has won the heart of the children.
7. ……see a mess.
mess 杂乱,混乱,表示房间乱七八糟常说be in a mess. 感叹用:what a mess!
8. His books have been translated into more than 50 languages.
(1)has/have been +p.p. 构成现在完成时的被动语态。

如:The milk has been drunk by the boy.
(2)translate……into 把……译成……,相当于put ……into……,
如:He can translate Chinese into English.
More than=over表示“。

多”,其反义词组为less than (不到,少于)。

9. Do you think Tintin’s fans hold parties on their own or in groups?
of one’s own 与on one’s own.
of one’s own是“(某人)自己的”的意思,一般用作定语,而on one’s own是“独自地,独立地”的意思,一般用作状语,On his own last year, so he is the owner of the house.
10.There are severao fan clubs in China which have held birthday parties for Tintin…
which have held birthday parties for Tintin是个定语从句,修饰clubs,which在从句中作主语,不能省略。

11. December 1984 the whole series of Tintin began to be published in China.
(1)介词in 用来表示时间,放在月、年、季节前。

In September in 1984 in winter
表示在具体某一天要用介词on. We always put on our school clothes on Monday.
表示在某一时刻要用介词at. We have lunch at twelve o’clock.

During the years of game making, there have been a number of games. Many old games have gone since modern games came out.
Teachers at a primary school asked their students to write articles about games they knew and were surprised by the results. Half of the 50 children in one of the classes wrote about online games.
It is easy to see that traditional games like hide-and –seek and jump rope games are unfamiliar to many today’s school children. They like to play computer games-especially in the cities, with the rising popularity of TV, the Internet, video and online games.
An educationist said, “Traditional games used to be so popular, but over just a few years, kids have forgotten them. It’s sad.”
The games that many parents once played were generally outdoor activities, enjoyed during breaks or after school. They usually needed several partners and just a little space.
Jump rope games, for example, have always been popular in countries around the world. A kind of jump rope game played with rubber bands(橡皮圈), connected together to make a long rope, is played in many countries.
Rubber band jumping was once very popular in primary schools. Girls loved playing this game. This game can help kids practice their jumping skills, develop coordination(协调性), and also meet lots of friends.
It is common these days to see primary school students spending their breaks in the classroom. They are busy with their studies.
“When we were young, we played many different outdoor games, but today’s children don’t know what to play or how to play.” A 40-year-old mother said. “If these kids want something, they can get it, but they don’t know what teamwork is.”
