本课时是本单元的第一课,主要学习九个有关食物的单词:tofu,fish,tomato,potato,mutton,pork,eggplant,green beans,cabbage 和会话What would you like for lunch? I’d like some tomatoes and mutton. 本课时词汇量大,要求四会掌握的单词多,要让学生在课堂上较好掌握这些单词,需要教师巧教、趣教,努力调动学生的积极性。

二、设计理念新英语课程标准指出,基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。

本节课是一节英语跨越式教学探索,以言语交际为中心,利用丰富多彩的教具,快捷方便的多媒体教学辅助设备,营造逼真的语言情境,激发学生用英语进行表达与交际的欲望。

通过师生对话引导下的俩俩说、小组说等形式的练习,给学生提供了大量运用语言的环境;通过拓展听读材料,丰富学生对于有关食物语言运用的感知;通过情景迁移,培养学生灵活运用语言的能力。

由此可见,本节课上学生既轻松掌握本课语言点,又能够灵活地在日常生活中运用,提高了用英语进行交际的能力,从而实现听说能力的跨越式发展。

三、学情分析1 学生已接触过单词fish,tomato,potato,而句型What would you like for lunch? I’d like….在四年级上册第五单元中已学过。

2 学生经过两年的试验,已经对跨越式教学模式比较熟悉,他们的听说能力也比较强。

四、说教学目标1、知识目标:①能听、说、读、写单词:tofu, fish, tomato, potato, eggplant, greenbeans.②能听、说、认读单词:cabbage, mutton,pork.③能灵活运用句型:What would you like for…? I’d like…④能拓展句型:Would you like something to drink?Anything else?What is your favourite food/drink?2、能力目标:①能在情境中运用本课单词和句型进行简单的交际。

二、单元教学内容分析本单元教学的内容是以前学过关于食物的相关知识的拓展和延伸,在经过前几次的教学后,我们可以看出学生对这一教学内容非常感兴趣。

这单元学生将学习更多的关于食物及形容食物的词汇。

一、制作说明:
1、使用材料:
大白纸一张,水彩笔一盒,固体胶,剪刀,卡纸3张。

2、制作过程:用水彩笔在卡纸片上书写本节课需要掌握的单词和句子,把它们裁剪下来。

然后再白纸上画上食物单词的简笔画,然后把实物图片和单词卡片贴在大白纸上。

本教具取材容易,制作简单,使用安全,造价低廉,有兴趣的同行可以自己尝试制作。

二、使用说明:
使用方法一:
学单词,作为教学卡片
学句子,作为教学卡片
例如:
What’s would you like for lunch ?
I like cabbage.
使用方法二
指食物,读单词
单词和句子分开练习,看学生的程度和具体情况。

刚开始可以是教师说指令,学生读指定的食物和单词后,让学生来下指令,学生读。

为了增强趣味性,可以采取小组竞赛的形式。

笔者曾经尝试过,效果不错。

使用方法三:
看谁记得多,记得对。

就是让学生连续看5个或者更多的食物单词,然后,不看教具,让学生说出看过的单词;食物也可以用同样的方法。

将食物与单词相结合,进行教学巩固。

根据学生的掌握情况,一次看的食物或单词的个数可逐渐增加。

这样,一方面,考查学生的记忆能力、观察能力、思维能力,另一方面,充分调动学生的感觉器官,使学习变得有挑战性、有趣味性。

总之,通过游戏,摆脱机械操练,把枯燥的字母和数字教学,变得有趣、生动。

利用各种活动形式,巩固复习字母和数字,使学生能够牢固掌握。

三、适用范围:
小学英语PEP 教材五年级上册第三单元以及六年级总复习。
