课题来源于义务教育课程标准实验教科书英语初中一年级下册第六模块。

本模块以体育运动为题材,为学生所熟悉,结合2008年北京奥运会的召开,再加上每个班级都有对体育运动比较热爱的学生,因此该话题易于激发学生的学习兴趣。

在本模块的教学过程中,学生利用课本中的语言材料,创造性地充分开展听、说、读、写训练,从而帮助学生掌握用形容词和副词来表达观点及形容词和副词的比较级的用法。

本模块的重点是形容词的比较级及副词的用法难点是用形容词的比较级及副词正确地表达自己的观点。

第一单元为词汇及听说教学。

主要通过Betty 与Daming 的对话来呈现如何用形容词的比较级来表达自己的观点。

(二)教学目标1.知识目标(1)掌握以下单词及短语的基本含义及其在语境下的应用。

名词:adventure gymnastics skiing形容词:more relaxing dangerous popular boring safe短语:be good at(2)语法:形容词的比较级及如何用其来表达自己的观点。

2.技能目标(1)能听懂谈论体育运动的话题,并能获取正确的信息。

(2)能正确运用形容词的比较级来比较不同的体育项目,表达自己的观点。

3.文化意识和情感目标:了解不同国家和地区的体育运动,养成爱好体育运动的习惯并积极参加体育运动。

4.学习策略:(1)师生示范策略:教师通过和1~2名学生的口语交际,给全班学生作示范,让学生清楚说话的内容和方式。

(2)自主听读策略:学生通过自主听读对话,训练听说能力,在语境中学习英语词汇、句式的应用。

内容为学生所熟悉,结合学校体育活动的开展及中国2018年奥运会的预备,便于开展课堂活动。

要求学生了解奥运,了解不同国家和地区的体育运动,同时依照自己的知识与喜好做一张与体育有关的招贴画,把握用形容词和副词来表达观点及形容词的比较级和副词的用法。

二、学情分析通过初一上学期和本学期前五个模块,专门是本学期Module 5的学习,学生已差不多储备运用形容词、副词的原级及形容词比较级来进行口、笔头表述的知识。

而且本模块的话题既符合学生的认知水平,又与学生的生活、爱好等相一致,因此,教学中教师应随时随地以学生已有知识和课本为动身点,灵活利用各种素材组织教学内容和过程,充分调动学生的积极性。
