活动内容包括:通过活动1、4、5,帮助学生复习英语中数字的表达法及学习阅读材料中要接触到的关键词汇。

接着通过各种听,说,读、写活动,帮助学生学会把握文章中心思想的方法、掌握文章的主要内容—希望工程助学的事实。

操练and,or和but连接的并列句,理解现在完成时的概念及用法。

学会恰当地运用现在完成时写出与希望工程相关的句子,为写出完整的语篇作铺垫。

二.学情分析:学生已经在Module2和Module3接触和学习了“现在完成时”。

所以理解本文中出现的用现在完成时介绍“希望工程”的句子不会有难度。

课前要求学生上网搜索了解“希望工程”和“希望工程”为人民所做的贡献等内容。

为能更深刻理解文章做好准备。

同时,我在整堂课中采取提供任务,引入竞争机制,小组合作形式,从而让学生参与课堂的积极性以及对课堂的专注度大大提高。

三.设计理念:1.现在完成时是一个不容易理解的时态,本模块通过以希望工程为题,围绕希望工程对贫困儿童求学的救助活动,让学生在情景中理解,所以,课程设计把重点放在内容上,而不是语法上。

通过对希望工程等话题的探讨,培养学生正确使用现在完成时及相关的时间状语的能力。

2.针对教学对象是生活在城市的过着舒适生活的青少年,对贫困地区孩子的生活和对能上学的渴望理解不够透彻,所以在教学中运用视频,图片。

通过强烈对比,让学生有深刻的印象,同时珍惜自己现在的生活。

3.教学过程中,通过设置任务,加入竞争机制,让学生小组合作,共同探究完成任务,充分发挥学生作为课堂主体,学会自主学习。
