1. 知识目标
能够听说的单词和短语:cheap, expensive, send, email, cost
能够听说认读的单词和短语: email
能够听说读写的单词和短cheap, expensive, send, email

通过多种活动,学生能运用已学的语言说明物品的特征和价格。
3、情感目标:
培养学生的审美能力以及勤俭节约的优良品质。
3学情分析
四年级的学生们已经学会了一些描述物品的形容词,对于相应的句势也有所掌握,本课要从表面的描述上升到理智的选择,学生会开始用英文来思考 .
4重点难点
教学重点:
本单元重点学习的是用形容词来形容物品。主要句型是:This …is…. 以及It’s…. 让学生学会用形容词描述事物。
教学难点:
本单元的难点是如何让学生准确地用形容词来形容物品。
5教学过程
一、Warming up
1. Greetings: Hello, boys and girls.
2. Sing a song.
3. Free talk:
The teacher shows a pencil, and asks the children to describe it.
在学生对形容词有了直观的感知和回顾之后引领学生复习颜色,对下面的学习做好铺垫。T: Is it black? (Point to the pencil)
Ss: No, it isn’t.
T: Is it yellow?
(复习Is it…?句型,为新授做好准备)
3. Listen and Point.
T: Point to something green.
Ss: (point)
T: Point something yellow…….
二、Leading in
The goat has got a new hat. Guess. What colour is it?
Ss: Is it red / pink / orange…?
Play the CD-rom (Activity One).
Ss watch the cartoon and find out the answer.
(此环节引出了描述物品的句型,为后面的新知学习做好了准备。)
三、Presentation.
出示一张电脑图片,问“What color is it?”
Ss: Red. (Point to the computer)
T: Yes. This computer is red. I bought it yesterday. It’s 10000 yuan. So it’s very expensive. It’s not cheap. (板书expensive, cheap 并渗透语音和拼写)
PPT展示一系列图片,如照相机,尺子, 橡皮等,学生用It’s cheap. It’s expensive.来描述。
Amy is very happy. She’s got a new computer. What is it like?
Ss watch the video and find out:
It’s cheap.
It’s not expensive.
It’s pink.
What about Grandma’s computer?
Ss listen and find out the answer in the book.
Learn the new words: send, email.
四、Consolidation.
1. Reading.
Ss read the dialogue in different ways.
Reading after the recorder.
Reading together.
Reading in roles.
2. Whose computer?
T shows two computers.
T: Which one is Grandma’s? Why?
Which one is Amy’s. Why?
Ss: This one is Amy’s. It’s beautiful. It’s cheap…….
此环节让学生们动脑用英语思维,通过对比来描述物品的特征。
3. T shows the picture of Activity 3. Ss look and describe the computers. Then listen and repeat.
4. T shows the picture of Activity 4. Point to the words and Ss read them.
Ss point and describe: This camera is expensive.
Ss work in pairs, one points, the other describe.
此活动让学生们把物品的描述进行了拓展,引导学生进一步来谈论生活中更多的物品。
