主要围绕“What do you want to be? I want to be an actor.”这一主题展开教学活动。
并以这一主题引出一系列职业的名称,并引导学生说出自己理想中的职业。
本单元旨在创造一个轻松,愉快的学习,交流环境。
通过听,说,读,写来培养学生综合运用这些知识的能力。
本单元Section A呈现了如何对职业进行提问的句型以及如何对职业进行描述。
这部分内容通过视,听等方式提出的信息,引出本单元的主要句型:What does she do? She’s a doctor.What does she want to be? She wants to be an actor.文中安排的听力练习由易到难,能让学生展示捕捉特定信息的能力,轻松完成给对话排序,从而使学生们能体会到成功的喜悦,主动运用语言。
Activity 3a 通过对不同职业的描述让学生找出相对应的职业,能引导学生初步综合运用所学的语言项目。
2.本部分在教材中的地位和作用本部分以谈论职业为主线,通过看图片,结队操练,听录音,阅读信息等活动形式,从基本语言知识到语言综合运用,从易到难层层递进,听、说、读、写依次展开,以一种循序渐进的生活化的学习程序,引导学生在活动中有目的地学习语言。
3.教材的处理根据《英语课程标准》关于总目标的具体描述,结合本单元这部分的教学内容及基于对教材的分析,我对本部分的内容进行如下处理,目的是突出重点,使课堂节奏紧凑,衔接。
本部分分为两个课时,第一课时是Section A中的1a,1b,1c,2a,2b,落实职业的名称及如何对职业进行提问。
第二课时是Section A中的2c,3a,3b,4,落实如何对各种职业进行描述。

Unit4 I want to be an actor.第一课时教学反思本节课讲授的是人教版七年级下册Unit 4中Section A的第一课时,本课时通过听说的方式主要学习和职业有关的一些词汇及句型“What do you do ? I am a /an….What do you want to be ? I want to be a /an…”。
本节课首先由英文歌引入,激发学生的学习兴趣从而带动课堂气氛。
课堂中创设了游戏,非常接近学生实际,它既活跃了课堂气氛,又激发了学生的好奇心。
为下一步的话题深入做铺垫。
让学生根据听到的录音材料做听力训练,不仅培养了学生听的能力而且让新的语言点在听力材料中得以再现,从而加以巩固,这实质上又是变换语言输入的形式。
最后还安排了A survey and report.从而实现课程的总体目标;即:语言技能,语言知识,文化意识,情感态度和学习策略。
经过教学环节,总结如下反思:1.让学生欣赏一首比较轻快的英文歌,让学生在轻松愉悦的氛围中练习。
调动学生的积极性又活跃了课堂气氛。
2.在调动学生的积极性之后,设计了游戏环节。
呈现出有关职业的单词以及本职业的性质等。
贴近生活、学习和社会实际,既能引起共鸣,使学生有话可说,激发学生积极参与的欲望,感受和体验到生活的无穷乐趣,又有益于培养学生的职业情操,促进学习的积极性,培养学生语言学习的信心。
3. 避免单调的教单词过程:从教学设计流程来看,首先是激发学生的积极性,在学生的学习兴趣被充分调动之后,再利用图片,游戏,听力等形式来输入单词,学习常见职业的英文名称,并且学会如何对职业进行提问和回答。
这样,给学生输入新单词的过程不是单一的教单词,避免了单调,又巩固了句型。
还让学生通过观看明星的照片,初步了解不同的职业英语表达方法。
4.练习:1)学生观看大屏幕,听力训练,学生写出相应的职业的英文名称,以及职业的性质的描写。
2)展示图片,教师自问自答,让学生感知如何用英语来提问职业。
