woul d l i k e t o do s t h 与want t o d o st h 区别

would like to do sth 与want to do sth 区别

would like to do sth是愿意作某事表示愿意乐意可以等于Be will to do sth

would like 和want

B1):

Customer:I'like some raspberries please /I want some raspberries please

Greengroce:I'm afraid I haven'any. Would you like somestrawberries?

Customer:No, I don'want any strawberries thanks.

I would like常常要比I want更有礼貌。

would you like ?要比do you want?

would you like ? do youwant?

Caller:I'like to/l want to speak to Mr X , please

Telephonist: Mr X is out. Would you like to speak to Mr Y ?

它们的意思没有区别,然而,I want要比I would like显

I would like to live on Mars .

B would like和want在下列用法中不能互换:

1表示邀请时用would you like ?结构,而不能用do you want?结构:

Would you like a cup of coffee ?

Would you like to come to the theatre?

do you want?

2 wouldn'like 和don'want是有区别的。

—Would you like some more coffee? —No,I don'want any more,

thanks. /No,thanks.

在间接引语中want变为wan ted,而would like不起变化:

Tom said, ‘would like/wa nt to see it.'

Tom said he would like/wa nted to see it

能用would like因为Tom would like to seeit的意思是指现在或将来)。

D would like有两个过去形式:would like+不定式的完成式或

I 'like to have gone skii ng. /I 'have liked a daysskii ng.
