World-famous musicians:
Ludwig van Beethoven (贝多芬)
1770-1827, famous German composer and the greatest composer of his time. His music formed a transition from classical to romantic composition. He began to lose his hearing in 1801 and was deaf by 1819. Although horrible and unendurable for a musician, he still went on composing. His bestknown composition is the Ninth Symphony.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (莫扎特) 1756-1791, Austrian composer. He is probably the only composer in history to have written masterworks in almost every musical genre(流派)of his age and was considered among the most prolific composers with more than 600 compositions.
