语法精讲
Can you make the tea,Sam? 你会沏茶吗,萨姆?
结构分析本句结构为“情态动词Can+ 主语+ 动词原形+ 其他?”,表示你能……吗?/你会……吗?”这是一个一般疑问句,作肯定回答时用“Yes, I can.”,作否定
回答时用“No, I can’t.”。

如:
—Can you swim? 你会游泳吗?
—Yes, I can. 是的,我会。

—No, I can’t.不,我不会。

如要将本句变为陈述句,其语序应该为“主语+ can+ 动词原形+ 其他.”。

语法拓展情态动词can表示“可能”、“允许”、“猜测”等。

在本句中,意为“能够”,表示具备某种能力。

常用表达make the tea是固定搭配,意为“沏茶”。

结构分析该句中,behind the teapot补充说明it(茶)的位置。

语法拓展介词behind的用法:
behind 意为“在……之后”,用来表示位置关系,如:
There is a river behind the hill. 在山的后面有一条河。

常用表达短语over there意为“在那边”,指比较远的地方。

语法拓展in front of与in the front of的区别:
这两个短语都意为“在……前面”,表示位置关系。

但是,in front of表示在某
一范围之外的前面,而in the front of表示在某一范围之内的前面。

结构分析这是一个由助动词do构成的一般疑问句,在此句中,do没有实际意义,它只是帮助实义动词like构成疑问句。

回答时,用“Yes,主语+ do.”或“No,主
语+ don’t”。

语法拓展一般现在时(1)
一般现在时用来表示经常发生的动作或存在的状态。

其基本构成有两种:
1.主语+ be动词+ 其他
2.主语+ 动词原形/ 动词第三人称单数+ 其他
如:
He is a student. 他是一名学生。

I study in a middle school. 我在一所中学上学。

My brother studies in the same school with me. 我哥哥和我在同一所学校上学。

结构分析这是一个省略句,其完整形式是“Do you want a cup of coffee?”。

其中want是及物动词,后面的名词作宾语,表示“想要某物”。

如:I want some books.
我想要一些书。

语法拓展及物动词与不及物动词
根据动词后是否直接跟宾语可以将动词分为及物动词和不及物动词。

后面必须
跟宾语意义才完整的实义动词,称为及物动词,如:want,like等;本身意义
完整且后面不需跟宾语的实义动词称为不及物动词,如:stop, fly等。

如:
Do you like oranges? 你喜欢橘子吗?
The car stops. 车停下来了。
