八年级上册教学设计Unit 4 Our WorldTopic 1 What’s the strongest animal on the farm?Section DⅠ. Material analysis本节课是本话题的最后一节课,主要通过Grammar 、Functions 来复习本话题的语法重点:形容词的比较级和最高级。
本课课前通过农场动物的视频既复习了动物名称,又复习了本单元的功能项目,让学生在对话中学会运用形容词的比较级和最高级语法。
复习过程中要尽量多给机会让学生自己总结和归纳,在学生做的过程中发现问题及时点拨。
本课也从农场动物自然过度到野生动物,尤其是濒危动物,引出本节课的话题Animals in danger。
接着通过对大熊猫、蓝鲸、华南虎等珍稀动物的介绍,引导学生阅读由浅入深,由泛读到精读,步步参透情感教育:学会爱护环境、保护动物。
在处理课文方面,由老师的慢慢输入新知识,通过学生一遍遍的阅读,鼓励学生进行各种形式的语言输出,如课文填空,复述。
再次,通过图片提示,引导学生思考并讨论:What should we do to protect them? 然后在Project环节,通过呈现人类屠杀大象、鲨鱼的图片,引导学生任选一种动物小组讨论并各写一篇小短文。
最后,通过姚明,贝克汉姆的保护环境的公益广告呼吁大家共同保护野生动物“没有买卖,就没有杀害”。

1.整体设计思路、指导依据说明
在本节课中,采用引入—形容词的比较级和最高级—句子—听力呈现—短文填空-—围绕谈论动物、植物、人与自然的关系等内容展开学习本节课以及整个话题的重点的教学流程,遵循以学生为主体的教学理念,引导、激励学生积极思考、主动参与、大胆探索,构建开放、合作、创新的课堂教学模式。
针对Environment and Animal Protection这一话题,通过情感引入及情境创设,使学生对环境污染有所共鸣,并引出如何保护环境,保护动物。通过本节课的课堂任务,在课中对学生进行技能的培养。最后,通过综合评价和课后任务的延续,搭建学生学习成果展示平台,增强学生学习英语的兴趣、信心和积极性。在整个教学过程中,必须坚持“两基”目标的实现,即:基础知识——词汇、语法的理解和掌握;基本技能——听力输入及口语技能的训练和提高。本节课主要学习形容词的比较级、最高级这一重点语法,它是本话题的重点也是难点。
