思科Cisco 交换机型号概述思科Cisco 交换机的命名一般是WS开头这个是固定的,再下一个字母有两种一个是C一个是X,C代表固化交换机或者机箱,X代表的是模块。
比如看到WS-C3750-24TS-S这个型号的时候我们应该知道他是CISCO交换机.固化交换机3750系列,24个以太网口,TS表示是以太口+SFP口后面的S表示是标准版的,相应的型号就是E的,属于增强型或者叫企业版。
再如WS-X6748-SFP,WS还是代表交换设备,x表示模块,6表示6000系列,7表示7代产品,48表示48口,SFP 表示端口类型。

This combined T3/E3 ATM network module provides an ATM connection of either 44 Mbps for DS3/T3, or 34 Mbps for E3 using standard 75-ohm BNC connectors. More specifically, traffic shaping ensures that traffic from one VC does not adversely impact another, resulting in data loss. This function is very important when connecting to an ATM WAN or public ATM network-especially when the ATM switches enable traffic policing that will discard all traffic that exceeds the predetermined contract at the ingress of the switch.The ATM DS3/E3 supports traffic shaping in hardware which eliminates performance degradation when shaping is enabled. Providing traffic shaping on a per-VC basis in done by the software using IP-to-ATM CoS mapping feature and allows total flexibly and control over every VC configured.For each ATM service class, the ATM DS3/E3 supports highly configurable parameters: peak cell rate (PCR), sustainable cell rate (SCR), maximum burst size (MBS) and minimum cell rate (MCR). These parameters can be defined based on the specific bandwidth requirements of an individual VC, as needed for a specific application. Table 3 lists ATM Class of Service Traffic Shaping Parameters supported on the product.Table 3. Today, additional attributes related to users and their devices are used as decision criteria in determining authorized network access. Additionally, network service provisioning can be based on data such as the type of device accessing the network, including whether it is a corporate or personal device.The Cisco® Secure Network Server is a scalable solution that helps network administrators meet complex network access control demands by managing the many different operations that can place heavy loads on applications and servers, including:●Authorization and authentication requests●Queries to identity stores such as Active Directory (on-premise or Azure), LDAP, and other databases◦API queries to fetch attributes from third-party systems (such as ServiceNow)●Device profiling and compliance checking●Enforcement actions to remove devices from the network●ReportingThe Cisco Secure Network Server is based on the Cisco UCS® C220 Rack Server and is configured specifically to support the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) security application.
