在英语教学的初级阶段,往往侧重听说技能的培养。
但是中学生阅读能力的培养也不容忽视。
学生的阅读能力应在启蒙教学阶段进行渗透培养。
中学阶段的读主要以认读和拼读为主。
一、研究思路与目标
运用前期课题研究结题成果，从强化英语朗读训练入手，分析影响学生朗读能力的几种因素，探讨提高学生朗读能力的基本策略，充分发挥教师的智慧，挖掘学生的朗读潜力，切实提高学生的朗读能力。
二、研究内容与策略
1、研究课堂教学中增强英语朗读表达实践环节。
有意识地培养学生的朗读能力。
课堂上加强各环节的朗读训练。
采用读字母、读单词、读句子、编对话、演小品、演课本剧等多种形式充分训练学生的朗读能力及表演能力，使学生的朗读能力在课堂上得以提高。
2、开展各种形式的课外英语实践活动，锻炼学生朗读能力。

一、培养良好的朗读习惯朗读的教学过程一般为：1、教师、或录音磁带的范读。
2、讲解技巧。
3、领读。
4、学生朗读。
5、教师的反馈。
朗读的形式多种多样，包括范读，跟读，齐声朗读，个别朗读，背诵等。
教师可以根据需要，通过多样化的教学手段进行教学。
二、扩大积极的语言因素。
扩大词汇量，是提高阅读能力的基础。
英语词汇是学习英语的基础。
如果没有词汇，任何形式的交流都无从谈起。
所以对英语学习者来说要学好英语，掌握词汇是基础。
背诵是增加词汇量的方法之一。
根据学生的记忆规律，不断地提供学生用单词的机会，让学生在用中学，学中记。
“滚雪球”似的实现词汇的积累，为以后的阅读提供条件。
三、精选阅读材料，激发学生对阅读的兴趣。
兴趣是最好的老师，是学生学习真正的动力。
激发学生的阅读兴趣是提高阅读能力的内在因素。
教师可对已学的语言材料，重新进行组织，结合不同的语境供学生阅读。
也可选择与课文难度相当的趣味的，幽默的材料。
四、加强交际性阅读。
小学阶段英语教学的重点是训练学生的听说技能。
结合听说训练，可将阅读材料进行交际化处理，这样有助于对阅读材料的深层理解。
在这样一个学习过程中，不仅使学生的英语阅读能力得到了锻炼，而且使学生的思维和分析能力都得到了培养。
