Top designers are imagining our life in 50 years.
Campbell-Rey
When creating products from natural materials, we are taking from resources that are limited. And it has a negative influence on the planet. This comes with a level of responsibility as a designer. In 50 years, we will hopefully 3D print what are now rare, wanted and beautiful natural materials like minerals and rosewood. This technology would be readily available, following the movement of large companies making their intellectual property (知识产权) public to allow others to develop them for the benefit of mankind as a whole.
This would allow for the creation of new natural materials without any harm to the environment.Something like this would present designers with lots of new choices, and would change the way we think about our surroundings. And while we're at it, these new natural materials could break down whenever you want. Now, wouldn't that be something?
Ben van Berkel
While present health-related concerns focus primarily on the body and physical fitness, I think there is a growing need for architecture to actively contribute to human happiness on physical and social levels.
I imagine that, in the future, there will be a need for a system that supplies us with continuous information about health-related conditions in the built environment. It will measure and inform us about such things as air pollution, noise, daylight, fresh air and temperature levels to make sure that we're safe and comfortable in buildings.
It will also warn of dangers and, in so doing, let us realize how our immediate environment is affecting us.I imagine this as a sensor (感应器) system that both collects information and
communicates it through whatever personal communication technology we're using in 50 years.
Today this would be communicated through an app (应用程序), but who knows? In the future we may be receiving information directly to our senses through implants (植入物).

3.What does Ben van Berkel probably design in reality?
A.Alarm systems.B.Buildings to live in.

As an old English saying goes, “Honesty is the best policy”.It is more than an old cliche (陈词滥调), but __1__ good way to live your life.
First, honesty is the __2__ (easy) choice that we can make. When people get caught in lies, it always costs them something. Many relationships are destroyed by lies.
Second, honesty gives us much __3__ (free). Many people believe that being honest limits them in life, but that is not true.Sooner or later those dishonest people __4__ (pay) a price for their acts; on the contrary, when we are honest, we are __5__ (true) free.
If there were two people __6__ (stand) before you, a person with a record of being honest and a person __7__ is known to be dishonest, who would you be more likely __8__ (believe)? I'm sure most people would side with the honest person.__9__ we live in the truth or we live in lies.Truth sets us free and lies leave us in nothing but more troubles.Honesty is a choice that we make each day.The choice is __10__ (you). What will you choose?

4.will pay sooner or later“迟早”,根据其意思可知,该空应用一般将来时。
6.standing此空在“If there were two people”后,说明要用非谓语动词;people与stand 之间为主谓关系,因此用现在分词standing。
7.who/that先行词为“person”,因此应该用关系代词who或that引导定语从句。
8.to believe be likely to do为固定搭配。
10.yours
