get along/on with 相处, 进展 他们彼此相处得很融洽。 They are getting along/on well with each other. 他问我们工作进展的怎么样?
He asked us how we were getting along/on with the job.
➢special adj. 特殊的,特别的, 今天报纸上有什么特殊的消息吗? Is there anything special in today’s newspaper? 看来做这个好像有一种特别的方法。 There seems to be a special way of doing it.
➢They’re kind and very careful not to hurt the students. 他决定不回家。He decided not to go home. 我叫他不要开门。I told him not to open the door.

c.以重读闭音节结尾,字母拼写呈现“辅+元+辅(w, x, y除 外 drawing, fixing, paying,)”结构的动词,先双写末尾的辅 音字母,再加-ing stop -- stopping sit---sitting run--running forget--forgetting begin---beginning
➢Saying n. 格言,名言,言论,说法 言行应该一致。 Saying and doing should agree with each other. 常言说“眼见为实”It。is a common saying that seeing is believing.
➢Make + n. + adj. 使得…… 我们将尽力使教室干净又整齐。 We ‘ll try to make our classroom clean and tidy.
语从句,而manage的宾语是后面的动词不定式短语。 manage 设法,管理,安排 没人帮忙他可应付不了。 He won’t be able to manage without help.
manage to do sth 我们设法及时赶到那儿了。 We managed to get there in time. manager n. 经理 management n. 管理
➢But time is more than that and it’s a valuable resource. More than 不止,多于 她何止是漂亮。She is more than pretty.
一千多人参加了会议。 More than 1000 people attended the meeting. ➢That is why people like to say, ”Time is money”. 这就是他为什么没来这里的原因。That’s why he didn’t come here. ➢limited resource 有限的资源 company limited = Co Ltd 责任有限公司 ➢It seems that… 看来似乎是…… 经理似乎很生气。It seems that the manager was angry. ➢to make the best use of 充分利用 我们将尽力充分利用资源。
➢Believe it or not 信不信由你 如果你不信,可以问别人。 If you don’t believe me, you may ask somebody else.

➢Miss v. 思念 你不在时,我非常想念你。 I missed you very much while you were away. 我肯定人人都会想念他的。 I’m sure that everybody will miss him. 错过,没赶上 他来得太晚,错过了约会。 He arrived too late and missed his appointment. 他昨天误了火车。
We were surprised to hear that he failed in the exam. 我真想不到会在那里见到他。 I was surprised to see him there.
➢ feel like sth/doing sth 1. 摸起来象是…… 2. 这东西摸起来像是木头。It feels like wood. 3. 2. 想要某物 想要做某事 4. 他想要睡觉。 He felt like sleeping. 5. 我现在不想吃苹果。

➢a bit 有点儿 用法相当于副词 天气有点儿冷。 The weather is a bit cold. 她感到有点儿累。 She is feeling a bit tired.
➢be surprised 感到意外、震惊、惊奇 得知他考试不及格,我们很震惊。
d. 特殊:die – dying, lie – lying 3. 过去式(常规动词的过去分词同过去式)
a. 一般情况下,动词词尾加 -ed ,如: worked played wanted acted
b. 以不发音的 -e 结尾动词,动词词尾加 -d,如: lived moved
