本课难点在于要让学生学会be good at表示擅长于做某事,并意识到英语中形容词介词短语的常见性。
通过本课的学习,学生将会学会用英文评价他人的优势。

1.课前准备:调试光盘与课件、给学生分组、为学生布置预习作业等;2.教具学具:光盘、大卡片等。

《英语》(新标准)(一年级起点)三年级下册Module 8 Unit 2 She’s quite good at English.一、教材分析本课是外研社新标准英语(一起)三年级下册第八模块第二单元的巩固课,本节课是外研社版小学新标准英语一起第六册,Module8 Unit2的巩固课文.本模块的话题是谈论和描述自己或者他人学科的表现。
本课的情景是Lingling的父母收到了Lingling的学业报告,学业报告显示Lingling的数学、英语、语文、体育成绩都不错,科学课也很努力,就是学习美术部不太努力。
学科的单词,学生在2年级接触过,如English、Chinese,但是仅仅是单个的出现,本节课的内容是用be good at、work hard、try hard与学科单词组成简单句式描述学科学习情况,会出现第三人称单数形式,相对而言略有些难。
通过本节课的学习,学生能够运用已学语言调查他人擅长的学科和弱势的科目;能够积极尝试使用英语进行自我和他人学科表现评价。
二、学情分析三年级的学生已经有了两年多的英语学习经验,词汇上有了一定的积累,但大多数词汇都是在听、说、读、认的基础上学习、记忆的,缺少背写和运用的能力。
三年级的孩子因为有了一定的英语基础,这个时候的他们对英语既熟悉也好奇,对于贴近于他们生活经验的事物兴趣更高。
学生在本册书的第一模块学习过描述人物性格特点的词汇,如naughty、clever、nice等,在本模块的第一单元也学习了单词lazy、good的用法,能够在图片的提示下正确的描述人物特点。
本课的语言综合性比较强,需要学生用已学语言评价他人的性格特点和学习表现,学生在能够读懂表格的基础上,复述学业报告单。
三、教学目标1.语言知识目标:语音:准确的认读quite,区别于quiet的音、形、义。
语法:… be good at …..,… try(tries) hard at…,…work(works) hard at …. 这样简单的句式描述学科学习情况。
