人教版高中英语Book6 Unit 5 The Lake of Heaven reading 说课稿一、教材分析(一)教材概述:本单元以“The power of nature(自然界的威力)”为中心话题,旨在通过本单元的学习,了解火山、飓风、地震和洪水,听说读写等语言知识和语言技能主要围绕“自然灾害”及如何预防和利用自然灾害这一主题设计的。

本单元引导学生讨论这些问题,目的在于让他们了解自然界的威力,认识到人类只有保护自然,才能有效地预防自然灾害并改造和利用自然。

本课时为泛读课。

教学材料Using Language 的中Reading ---The Lake of Heaven, 描写长白山的天池这个景点。

针对课文一个自然段一个自然带段的分析,层层深入,逐步展开针对学生Fast reading 和Careful reading 等阅读技能的训练。

同时是阅读材料为景色介绍,引导学生在阅读的基础上,发现描写景点的有用的短语和句型,知道描写景色的结构。

课文脉络清晰,学生易于学习,从而掌握阅读技巧。

(二)教学目标:(1)学习长白山的天池----地理位置、自然环境和景观。

(2)知道如何描述一个地方。

(3)发展学生的阅读能力(三)教学重点和难点:(1)学习长白山的天池----地理位置、自然环境和景观。
