Unit4 Reading (Trees in our daily lives) 评价和反思本单元以保护树木为话题,以树木对人类的贡献为主线。

学生阅读一段学生和科学家之间关于树木在我们日常生活中的作用的访谈,了解树木对人类的重要贡献,从而加强爱护树木的意识。

我分析了本班学生的学习现状,大部分学生英语基础较为薄弱,所以我注重运用多媒体、多资源手段提高学生学习兴趣。

为了吸引学生的学习兴趣,提高学生的学习主动性和积极性,我充分利用多媒体教学平台音频、视频、图片、课件、互联网等教学资源和手段。

本节课我首先播放一段关于保护树木的视频,提问学生该视频里的内容,并引导学生谈论和意识到保护树木的重要性。

这大大吸引了学生学习兴趣,使学生从听觉和视觉上进一步加强感悟,明白关爱自然、树木的重要性。

接着,学生进行略读、找读,回答课后问题。

通过教师略读、找读技巧指导,有效提高了学生回答的正确率。

第三,通过填写表格并运用表格的重点词汇和关键词来找出树木的在我们日常生活中的作用。

第四,让学生迅速找出文章中重点短语,通过完成句子加以巩固,并运用这些短语来讨论如何保护树木。

最后,布置作业:利用图书馆或互联网等资源,寻找有关人类毁林的行为和我们如何保护树木的资料,准备下一节口头汇报。

学以致用,学生有了主动学习、研究、发现问题和解决问题的学习动力。

本节课中,大部分学生学习积极性高,能主动参与课堂活动,但是仍然有一些学生基础实在太差,无法跟上课堂学习,还需要教师和同学课后辅导。

At about 3:00 am on July 28,1976, some people saw bright lights in the sky. The sound of planes could be heard outside the city of Tangshan even when no planes were in the sky. In the city, the water pipes in some buildings cracked and burst. But the one million people of the city, who thought little of these events, were asleep as usual that night.

All hope was not lost. Soon after the quakes, the army sent 150,000 soldiers to Tangshan to help the rescue workers. Hundreds of thousands of people were helped. The army organized teams to dig out those who were trapped and to bury the dead. To the north of the city, most of the 10,000 miners were rescued from the coal mines there. Workers built shelters for survivors whose homes had been destroyed. Fresh water was taken to the city by train, truck and plane. Slowly,the city began to breathe again.

Then, later that afternoon, another big quake which was almost as strong as the first one shook Tangshan. Some of the rescue workers and doctors were trapped under the ruins. More buildings fell down. Water, food, and electricity were hard to get. people began to wonder how long the disaster would last.

It was felt in Beijing, which is more than two hundred kilometres away. One-third of the nation felt it. A huge crack that was eight kilometres long and thirty metres wide cut across houses, roads and canals. Steam burst from holes in the ground. Hard hills of rock became rivers of dirt. In fifteen terrible seconds a large city lay in ruins. The suffering of the people was extreme. Two-thirds of them died or were left without parents. The number of people who were killed or injured reached more than 400,000.
