My Favorite Season Picture Artist
Art class is my favorite part of the school day! I love getting my hands messy with paints, clay, crayons, and anything else Mrs. Garcia puts out for us. But my absolute favorite art activity is drawing pictures of the seasons. There's something so fun about capturing the changes in nature through my artwork.
The best season picture artist in our whole class is definitely Lily. She has a true talent when it comes to drawing the four seasons in vivid detail. In the fall, her pictures always have the most beautiful orange, red, and yellow leaves you've ever seen! The trees look like they are on fire, burning bright against a crisp blue sky. She adds in little squirrels scurrying to collect acorns and pumpkins sitting plump on the vines. You can practically smell the apple cider when you look at Lily's fall drawings!
For winter, Lily is a master with her colored pencils. Her drawings show a wonderland of freshly fallen snow, covering the ground in a smooth blanket of white. She adds in fun details like
snowmen, sleds, and icy icicles hanging from the roof tops. My favorite part of her winter scenes are the delicate snowflakes - each one is unique and intricate. I'm always amazed that Lily can make such tiny designs with just a pencil! Her pictures definitely capture the magic of playing outside on a snowy day.
When spring rolls around, Lily's artwork comes alive with cheerful colors. Vibrant greens fill her drawings as new leaves begin to sprout on the trees. She adds beautiful splashes of pinks, purples, yellows, and blues with the flowers popping up across the landscape. Butterflies and bunnies hopping through the grass are cute touches that make you excited for warmer weather. I love how Lily uses her paints to create muddy puddles for the animals to play in after the snow melts. You can really imagine the sweet smell of spring blooms when you see one of her masterpieces.
However, Lily's summer pictures are definitely my favorites. They are so full of energy and life! The sun seems to radiate off the page with its brilliant yellow hue. She uses warm oranges, reds, and blues to paint the beach scenes - crashing waves, golden sand, beach umbrellas and towels scattered about. My mouth waters looking at her drawings of picnic spreads with juicy watermelon slices and red gingham blankets. Lily's summer
artwork makes me long for vacation days spent swimming at the lake and catching fireflies at night. She really knows how to capture the carefree joy of summer through her illustrations.
I really admire Lily's impressive artistic skills. She has a fantastic eye for detail and uses her colors in such clever ways. Watching her draw is like witnessing magic happen right on the paper! While I'll probably never be quite as talented as Lily, I'm going to keep practicing my season pictures. Who knows, maybe someday I'll be the one drawing the most amazing spring, summer, fall, and winter scenes that everyone admires! All I know is that Lily has definitely inspired me to keep creating and discovering my own artistic abilities.

My Favorite Season and Painter
Winter is my favorite season of the whole year! I love when the cold air nips at my nose and cheeks and the pretty white snow covers the ground like a soft blanket. Everything looks so clean and sparkly after a fresh snowfall. Building snowmen and having snowball fights with my friends is the best fun ever. We run around outside for hours, laughing and playing until our
fingers and toes are frozen. Then we go inside for hot chocolate piled high with marshmallows to warm up. Yum!
On snowy days when it's too cold and icy to play outside, I like to curl up by the fireplace with my colored pencils and sketch pad. Drawing is one of my very favorite activities. I can get lost for hours creating pictures of whatever I imagine - fairies with gossamer wings, unicorns with swirly horns, or dragons breathing plumes of fire. Sometimes I look out the frosty window for inspiration from the winter wonderland outdoors. The bare tree branches look like spindly arms stretching up to the grey sky. Icicles glisten and drip like crystal teardrops from the roof edges. Snowflakes spiral lazily down to blanket the ground. I try to capture the stark beauty of winter in my drawings.
My art teacher Ms. Wilkins always raves about my winter scene sketches. She says I have a real talent and can use shading and perspective like a professional artist. That makes me smile really big because I work really hard on my drawings. Ms. Wilkins knows I love winter and she encourages me to keep practicing sketching cold, snowy days. Maybe I'll be a famous artist someday and people will buy my winter landscape paintings for millions of dollars! Okay, maybe that's a little too dream-big. But a kid can hope, right?
Speaking of famous artists, my absolute favorite painter is Walter E. Disney. Okay, okay, I know Walt Disney wasn't really a painter in the traditional canvas and brushes sense. But he was the ultimate artist if you think about it! Disney took inky black scratches and smudges and magically transformed them into the most wonderfully whimsical animated characters and worlds. With just pencil lines, he could bring goofy dogs, flouncy princesses, and juggling elephants completely to life and make you believe they were real. Disney's movies are like 3D paintings that sing and dance! How crazy talented is that?
I've watched all the classic Disney movies like Cinderella, Peter Pan, and Sleeping Beauty about a million times. They never get old to me. Every time I see the stroke of genius that went into designing quirky characters like Tinker Bell's pointy nose and Meeko the pesky racoon, I'm blown away by Walt Disney's godlike gift. My dream is to one day have that same kind of brilliance with a pencil and sketchpad in my hands. I want to craft creatures, heroes, villains and kingdoms so vibrantly alive that they seem to leap off the page or screen. Just like Disney did.
When I put on an old VHS tape of Bambi or The Jungle Book, I like to grab my drawing supplies and sketch along with the animated scenes. I'll pause it every few seconds to intently study
the way Bambi's gentle eyes are shaped or how the wind ruffles the wise owl's feathery 3D brows. Then I'll try to replicate those details as perfectly as possible with my pencils. My drawings are still pretty choppy and amateurish compared to the polished genius of Disney's artists. But I'm learning little by little with every sketch. Who knows? Maybe my crude pencil scratchings now will blossom into something incredible if I keep practicing like Walt Disney did as a boy. A kid can dream, can't she?
So there you have it - winter is 100% my favorite time of year for dreaming, appreciating nature's beauty, and working hard on my animation drawing skills. I love snuggling inside sketching spring flowers, summer sunsets, fall harvest scenes...but there's just something truly magical about trying to capture the sparkling stillness of a fresh snowfall on paper. When I see my pencil depict the frosty winter landscape taking shape, it's like the whole world has paused to give me a chance to really study and appreciate it. Those quiet, cozy, snowy days are when my artistic soul feels most alive and inspired. Wintertime is a creative wonderland and I'm its biggest fan! Maybe someday I'll be as respected for bringing my winter dreams to life as Walt Disney was. A young artist can hope, right?

My Favorite Season and Artist
Summer is my favorite season of the year! I love when school is out and I can play outside all day. The sun feels so warm and nice. Everything is green and blooming. Flowers are popping up everywhere with bright colors like red, yellow, pink, and purple. I love going to the park and running around on the playground. My mom takes me to the pool and I can splash and swim for hours. We go on picnics and have barbecues and eat popsicles that get all melty and drippy. It's so much fun!
Another thing I really love about summer is all the beautiful artwork made by my favorite artist, Claude Monet. He was a French painter who lived a long time ago in the 1800s. Monet painted so many amazing pictures of summertime scenes. His paintings make me feel like I'm right there in the middle of a sunny meadow or floating on a lake.
One of my favorite Monet paintings is called "The Water Lily Pond." It shows his flower garden back home in France. There's a bright green lawn, and a huge pond covered in pretty water lilies. The water looks so clear and refreshing. The purple and pink flowers are dotted all over. You can see the puffy clouds reflected in the still water. I wish I could dive right into that painting and swim around in the cool pond on a hot summer day!
Another incredible Monet painting is "Wheatstacks, Snow Effect." Even though it's a winter scene, the golden haystacks in the snowy field remind me so much of summer. It makes me think of lying in a dry, sunny meadow and watching the wheat sway gently in the warm breeze. The bright yellow color is just like the sun's rays beaming down. I can almost feel the heat radiating off the canvas.
My favorite Monet painting of all is probably "The Walk, Lady with a Parasol." It shows a young woman in a pretty blue dress strolling along a country path. She's holding up a bright parasol to shade herself from the sun. The scene looks so peaceful and relaxing. All around the path there are tall poplars casting long shadows. Wildflowers are blooming in the grass. It makes me want to grab my pail and net and go hunting for butterflies and ladybugs on a lazy summer day.
I'm so glad we learned all about Claude Monet in school this year. My teacher showed us slides of his most famous paintings from his garden at Giverny. She told us how Monet loved to paint outside in nature, especially scenes with water like rivers, ponds, and the ocean. She said Monet used thick brushstrokes and bright, dazzling colors to capture the way light dances on
the surface of water. He wanted his art to look alive and vibrant like the real outdoors.
I've tried painting my own outdoor scenes too, just like Monet did. For my last art project, I worked really hard on a picture of my backyard. I used short thick brushstrokes and vibrant colors like emerald green, sunflower yellow, and robin's egg blue. I tried to make the sunlight look warm and glowing. I splattered some water on the paper to make it look shimmery. I even attempted a little waterlily pond in one corner. My painting didn't turn out anywhere near as amazing as Monet's masterpieces, but I felt proud that I worked really hard on it. art is so much fun and relaxing!
When I grow up, I want to travel to France and visit Monet's house and garden in the village of Giverny. I'd love to see the actual waterlily pond and weeping willows that are in so many of his iconic paintings. I can picture myself strolling along the same paths and bridges that Monet walked every day to find the perfect lighting and subject to paint. In the warm summertime breeze, I'll gaze in awe at the lush flower beds, bursting with poppies, daisies, irises, and of course plenty of Monet's beloved water lilies. I'll feel so inspired by the magical surroundings that
I'll whip out my portable easel and try to capture the beauty just like the great

My Favorite Season and Painter
Hi there! My name is Tommy and I'm 10 years old. I love art and all the different seasons. Each season is so pretty in its own special way. But if I had to pick my absolute favorite, it would have to be autumn. The colors are just amazing! The leaves turn bright red, yellow, and orange. It's like the trees are on fire, but not in a scary way. In a really beautiful, warm, and cozy way.
I also really like how crisp and cool the air gets in autumn after those hot summer days. It's perfect weather for wearing a big, comfy sweater. And don't even get me started on all the delicious fall foods like apple cider, pumpkin pie, and candy corn. Yum! I can almost taste them just thinking about it.
Autumn reminds me a lot of the paintings by this artist that I really admire named Claude Monet. He was a French painter who lived a long time ago in the 1800s. Monet helped start this art movement called Impressionism. The Impressionists tried to capture the momentary effects of light and movement in their
artwork. They used short, thick strokes of paint and lots of bright, vivid colors. Kind of like autumn leaves!
One of my favorite Monet paintings is called "Autumn on the Seine, Argenteuil." It shows a little boat on the river Seine in France during fall. The reflections of the colorful trees in the water are so pretty. The whole scene looks warm and glowing, like it's basking in the golden autumn sunlight. I love how the dabs of bright paint make the leaves look like they're shimmering. It's an absolutely gorgeous painting that really brings the beauty of fall to life.
Another Monet masterpiece I adore is "Garden at Giverny." This one shows the lush gardens surrounding Monet's home in the French village of Giverny. There are tall green willow trees swaying in the background and vibrant splashes of red, yellow, and purple flowers in the foreground. You can tell it's fall because some of the willow branches are starting to turn orange. The scene is so peaceful and inviting. It makes me want to go strolling through Monet's garden paths, smelling the crisp autumn air.
I think the reason I connect so much with Monet's autumn paintings is because of his unique style and color choices. He was a master at capturing light and giving his artwork this incredible
vibrant, glowing quality. Just like the autumn sunlight makes the whole world look warm and alive with color. Monet's brushwork is loose and free, with dabs of paint creating this brilliant shimmering effect. It reminds me so much of autumn leaves waving and dancing in the breeze.
I have a little art kit that I use to try painting like Monet sometimes. I go outside when the leaves are changing color and just observe all the breathtaking reds, oranges, and yellows. Then I break out my paints and brushes and try recreating what I see using thick, dappled strokes. It's really hard to do it as beautifully as Monet! But it's also really fun and relaxing. Painting the colors of fall makes me feel so happy and calm.
In conclusion, autumn is hands-down my favorite season. I'm completely in awe of the incredible warm hues and vibrant displays of color. It feels like the whole world is glowing. And the paintings of Claude Monet, the famous French Impressionist, bring that autumn magic to life in the most amazing way. His shimmering brushwork and glowing depictions of colorful trees, gardens, and rivers are pure fall perfection in my book. I hope I can keep practicing and one day create autumn masterpieces as lovely as Monet's. But for now, I'll just enjoy soaking in the
real-life autumn beauty all around me!

My Favorite Season and Artist
I love all the seasons, but if I had to pick a favorite, it would be summer! Summer is the best season ever. It's when school is out and I get to spend all day having fun and playing outside. The weather is so nice and warm. I can go swimming at the pool or lake, have picnics and barbecues, go camping, catch fireflies at night, and do all my favorite outdoor activities.
Summer means freedom! No more waking up super early and rushing to get ready for school. No more homework or tests to worry about. Just endless days of fun, relaxation, and adventures. I get to sleep in late, stay up past my bedtime, and my parents take me on fun family trips. We usually go to the beach for a week where I can build awesome sandcastles, play in the ocean waves, and eat ALL the ice cream I want!
My birthday is in July, which is right in the middle of summer vacation. That means I get to have the best birthday parties with my friends - like pool parties, sleepovers, or renting a bouncy castle! We run around outside for hours, getting filthy but having an absolute blast. Then we stuff our faces with cake and ice cream until our stomachs hurt. Those hot summer nights seem
to last forever when you're a kid. We stay up late watching movies, telling scary stories, and dreaming about all the fun we'll have the next day. Those are some of my most cherished childhood memories.
Summer does have its downsides though. Like when it gets SO hot and humid that you're just drenched in sweat after five minutes outside. Or when my mom makes us do endless yardwork and chores in the heat because she says we have "too much free time." There's also the constant battle with mosquitos, bees, and other creepy-crawly critters that seem to multiple like crazy when it's warm out. But those minor annoyances are a small price to pay for the awesomeness of summer!
What I love most about LeRoy Neiman's art is how utterly joyful and celebratory it feels. His paintings explode off the canvas with life, motion, and saturated colors. You can sense his immense zeal for sports and his admiration for the skill and athleticism of the players. Neiman had a true talent for distilling the essence of a game or event into energetic yet refined compositions. His brushwork is aggressive yet controlled, spontaneous yet meticulous.
I'm particularly drawn to Neiman's depictions of baseball, which was always my favorite sport growing up. The way he
captures players' faces and body movement mid-swing or throwing a pitch is simply mesmerizing. You can almost hear the crack of the bat and the roar of the crowd through his paintings. Neiman's love for the game shines through every strike of the brush. Baseball may be America's pastime, but Neiman's art makes it look like the most thrilling show on Earth!
When I look at LeRoy Neiman's artwork, I see the essence of what I love about summer - joy, freedom, vivacity, and being outdoors enjoying your favorite activities. His paintings capture that euphoric, carefree feeling of just

My Favorite Season and Artist
Summer is my favorite season of the year! I love the warm sunny days, the school holidays, and all the fun activities we can do. Every year, my family goes on a big vacation during the summer. We pack our bags, jump in the car, and head off on an adventure to explore new places. Last summer, we went camping in the mountains. We hiked along trails, roasted marshmallows over the campfire, and slept in our cozy tent under the stars. It was so much fun!
Another reason I love summer is because of all the yummy foods we get to eat. My mom makes the most delicious backyard barbecues with juicy hamburgers, hot dogs, and corn on the cob. And of course, no summer is complete without ice cream! I could eat ice cream every single day. My favorite flavors are chocolate, strawberry, and mint chocolate chip. Sometimes we even make our own ice cream at home using an old-fashioned
hand-cranked machine. It's a lot of work, but it tastes so creamy and delicious when it's done.
When I'm not on vacation or stuffing my face with ice cream, I love spending summer days outside. I ride my bike all around the neighborhood, roller blade at the park, and have epic water balloon fights with my friends. We run through the sprinklers to cool off and have popsicle juice dripping down our chins. Those hot summer days are the best!
My absolute favorite thing about summer, though, is the amazing artwork I get to create. You see, my favorite artist is Claude Monet, the famous French painter from the 1800s. Monet is best known for being one of the founders of the Impressionist art movement. His paintings are filled with bright, vibrant colors and unique brushstrokes that capture the beauty of the outdoors.
I love Monet's artwork because it makes me feel so happy and peaceful just looking at it. His paintings of water lilies, gardens, and landscapes are like windows into a perfect summer day. When I gaze at one of his works, like "Water Lilies and Willow Branches" or "The Water Lily Pond," I can almost feel the warm breeze and hear the buzzing of bees. The colors are so vivid and cheerful, like the orange and purple hues of a summer sunset.
That's why every summer, I spend hours outside with my art supplies, trying to paint just like Monet. I set up my little easel, squint my eyes to see the colors and shadows, and carefully brush stroke after stroke onto the canvas. I mix different shades of green for the leaves, dab white for the sun's glimmering reflection, and use thick strokes of blue for the sparkling pond.
My paintings are not nearly as amazing as Monet's masterpieces, of course. But that's okay! Making art is all about expressing yourself and capturing those tiny, special moments in life. To me, summertime is filled with precious memories and the most wonderful sensations – the heat of the sun, the sweet scent of flowers, the melodic trills of birds. When I paint outside during the summer months, I'm bringing those memories and feelings
to life on the canvas. I'm creating my own vibrant, joyful impressions of my favorite sunny days.
Spending summers outdoors with my art supplies, basking in the warm weather and colorful scenery, makes me feel so grateful and happy. I get to have fun adventures with my family, indulge in tasty treats, and most importantly, express my creativity just like my favorite painter, Claude Monet. His artwork has inspired countless artists around the world, and it motivates me every summer to create fresh, new, happy impressions. I can't wait for school to let out so I can return to my favorite season and pick up my paintbrushes once again!。
