最后,又进化成为智人,它们的脑容量与现代人一般大小,更像人类。目前,达尔文的进化论在科学界占有重要地位,但仍不能得到绝对肯定。从古猿到南方古猿这段时间,其中有近400万年找不到化石,这又怎么解释呢?所以,又引进了一种新说海猿说。这段时间,因为各种环境因素,从而形成海水蔓延,淹没了陆地,地球上几乎找不到陆地,但是人类要生存,就必须适应环境,所以猿类必须下海生活,造成这几百万年间都找不到化石。又经过多年蜕变,海水下沉,陆地又露了出来,于是,猿们又在陆地上繁衍。
