【精解】so much意为“如此多的”，修饰不可数名词。so many意为“如此多的”，修饰可数名词复数。

【拓展】（1）so....that...意为“如此……以至于……”，引导结果状语从句；so that意为“以便；为了”，相当于in order to，引导目的状语从句。
