影视英语口语:蜘蛛侠or超人?

Edward: It means if you were smart, you'd stay away from me.

【34】背景知识：Edible art
Edible art直译就叫做可食艺术，听起来有点深奥，就是将食物码放成图案状，这么说来咱中餐好多摆盘都能算是edible art咯，还包括日本寿司很有讲究的那种装盘。

日本和台湾那边很流行的漂亮爱心便当都算在其中哦，下面这个是很有Twilight特色的一个蛋糕~~
【35】词汇讲解：your mood swings are kind of giving me whiplash. mood swings很形象，就是情绪波动，指的是爱德华对待贝拉的态度忽冷忽热。

而whiplash本意是鞭笞，这里是一个引申出来的意义，表示伤害、伤痛。

整句话翻译出来就是：你老这么忽冷忽热的我可受不了。

【36】口语讲解：for argument's sake that I'm not smart
for XXX's sake是个很常用的词组，表示看在什么的份儿上。

for heaven's sake 就是老外超爱说的一句口头禅，见过有翻译成“饿滴神啊”或者“要了亲命了”，都很传神。

这边for argument's sake则是表示为了不再争论，我就退一步承认我是很不聪明。

【37】背景知识：radioactive spiders and Kryptonite.
受到过辐射的蜘蛛和氪星用以指代蜘蛛侠和超人，彼得·帕克被一只变异的蜘蛛咬了之后被赋予了蜘蛛的超能力，而超人则来自外星球氪星。

【38】词组讲解：I can see what you're trying to put off
put off是个大词，我们最早学到的意思就有“熄灭”，后来还学过“延期”等等。

这里则是作为“搪塞”来解释。

【39】口语讲解：Why don't we just hang out?☀
hang out也在口语中用得非常多，动不动就会在美剧里面听见。

表示和朋友一起出去玩，不管是逛街啦、K歌啦、还是看演唱会打球什么都算在其中。
