The Kite Runner is Hosseini’s first novel which makes known for us. It also is the first English novel written by an Afghan writer. In this novel, Hosseini use many images to express indictment of the war and revelation of racial and religious issues. More importantly, this novel reflects the human nature and the salvation of humanity, especially the handling of the image of the kite. After reading this novel, the author of the paper develops a deep interest in The Kite Runner. What strikes the author most is the symbolism in this novel.
