Leave the ANISOLM in the containers at room temperature for about an hour. Then make sure that it does not risk condensation before using it. 2) C onnection resistance: The table indicates a half of the resistance between neighboring circuits. Current measured: 1mA. Includes the circuit resistances of the TCP and PWB.3)Tack strength: Pre-bond an ANISOLM sample to an PWB, peel its separator off, then tack TCP to it at room temperature. Then measure the tack strength of this sample. 4) O perating range: As per reliability tests using Hitachi’s test pieces.(This range varies according to the material used and external stress applied. Check the reliability of specific pieces.)The values given above represent typical measurements, not guaranteed ones.. (2) Use a head slightly wider than the ANISOLM piece to be connected.-Example: ANISOLM width, 2.5mm• head width, 3.0mm(3) Tip the head with a thin and hard cushion, not a soft and thick one. Silicon rubber(about 0.2 mm thick with a hardness of 70 degrees or above) may be used for example. The use of too soft a cushion or excessive pressure in connection will drive adhesive in the space toward the end, resulting in insufficient adhesion. Be particularly careful when the space is wider than the circuits.Q .‚S . Misalignment of Opposite Circuits (1) Align opposite circuits well. Do not let them get misaligned.(2) In designing TCPs(FPCs), allow for the misalignment of opposite circuits due to their expansion during connection.(3) Keep the circuit misalignment at or less than the circuit width.. MAXIM Evaluates MAX2056 说明书
现货库存、技术资料、百科信息、热点资讯,精彩尽在鼎好!General DescriptionThe MAX2056 evaluation kit (EV kit) simplifies evalua-tion of the MAX2056 general-purpose, high-perfor-mance, variable-gain amplifier with analog gain control. The EV kit is fully assembled and tested at the factory.Standard 50ΩSMA connectors are included at the input and output of the EV kit to allow quick and easy evaluation on the test bench. This data sheet provides a list of equipment required to evaluate the device, a straightforward test procedure to verify functionality, a circuit schematic for the kit, a bill of materials (BOM) for the kit, and artwork for each layer of the PC board.Features♦Analog Gain Control♦Up to 44dB Gain-Control Range ♦800MHz to 1000MHz Frequency Range ♦Fully Assembled and Tested♦Input and Output Internally Matched to 50ΩOver Entire Band Of Operation ♦50ΩSMA Inputs and Outputs for Easy Testing of All MAX2056 FeaturesEvaluates: MAX2056MAX2056 Evaluation Kit________________________________________________________________Maxim Integrated Products 119-3552; Rev 0; 2/05Component ListFor pricing, delivery, and ordering information, please contact Maxim/Dallas Direct!at 1-888-629-4642, or visit Maxim’s website at .Ordering InformationComponent Suppliers*EP = Exposed paddle.E v a l u a t e s : M A X 2056Quick StartThe MAX2056 EV kit is fully assembled and factory tested.Follow the instructions in the Connections and Setup section for proper device evaluation.Test Equipment•One DC power supply capable of supplying 5V and 0.3A•One DC power supply that can be adjusted from 1V to 4.5V for gain control•Two digital multimeters (DMM) to monitor V CC and I CC , if desired•HP 8648 (or equivalent) signal source•HP 8561E (or equivalent) spectrum analyzer•HP 8753D (or equivalent) network analyzer to mea-sure return loss and gain over frequency (optional)Connections and SetupThis section provides a step-by-step guide to testing the basic functionality of the EV kit. To prevent damag-ing the device, do not turn on DC power or RF signal generators until all connections are made. Do not apply VCNTL without V CC present (see the VCNTL section).Testing the Supply Current1)Connect 50Ωterminations to J1 and J2.2)With its output disabled, set the voltage on one of the DC supplies to +5.0V (through a low internal resistance ammeter, if desired) and connect to the +5.0V (TP1) and GND (TP2) terminals on the EV kit.I f the power supply has a current-limiting feature, set the current limit to 200mA.3)With its output disabled, set the voltage on the sec-ond DC supply to 1V and connect to the gain-control connector VCNTL (J3) on the EV kit. This configures the device for its maximum gain setting. If the power supply has a current-limiting feature, set the current limit to 1mA.4)Enable the V CC supply, then enable the gain-control supply; the V CC supply current should read approxi-mately 136mA.Testing the Power Gain1)With its supply output disabled, set the voltage on oneof the DC supplies to +5.0V (through a low internal resistance ammeter, if desired) and connect to the +5.0V (TP1) and GND (TP2) terminals on the EV kit. If available, set the current limit to 200mA.2)With its supply output disabled, set the voltage on theother DC supply to 1V and connect to the gain-control connector VCNTL (J3) on the EV kit. If available, set the current limit to 1mA.3)With the generator output disabled, connect the RFsignal generator to J1. Set the generator to a 900MHz output frequency, and set the power level to -13dBm.4)Connect the spectrum analyzer to J2. Set the spec-trum analyzer to a center frequency of 900MHz and a total span of 1MHz. Set the reference level on the spectrum analyzer to +10dBm.5)Enable the V CC supply. Next, enable the gain-controlsupply. Finally, enable the RF generator’s output. A 900MHz signal with a magnitude of approximately 3dBm should be displayed on the spectrum analyzer.Be sure to account for external cable losses.6)Vary the gain-control supply voltage between +1.0Vand +4.5V. The output power should vary by approximately 22dB.7)Gain can also be determined with a network analyzer. This has the advantage of displaying gain over a swept frequency band, in addition to displaying input and output return loss. Refer to the network analyzer manufacturer’s user manual for setup details (optional).Detailed DescriptionFigure 1 shows the schematic for the MAX2056 EV kit.C1, C3, C5, and C7 are DC-blocking capacitors for the IN_A, IN, AMP_IN, and OUT pins. To reduce the possi-bility of noise pickup from the power supply, capacitors C2, C4, C6, C8, C9, C10, C13, C14, and C15 are used to decouple V CC . Resistors R1 and R2 are used to bias the amplifier’s first and second stages, respectively.Current-Setting ResistorsThe MAX2056 amplifier section is a two-stage design whose input stage current is set by the external resistor R1, while the output stage current is set by resistor R2.These resistors were optimized at the factory to pro-duce the highest OIP3 for a given current. The current of the device can be reduced by increasing these resistor values (see the Modifying the EV Kit section),but linearity performance degrades.MAX2056 Evaluation Kit 2_______________________________________________________________________________________VCNTL The VCNTL pin is used to control the gain of the amplifi-er. The nominal operating range for the VCNTL pin is from 1V to 4.5V. Limiting VCNTL to this range ensures reliability of the device.Due to on-chip ESD diodes, do not apply VCNTL without V CC(+5V) present. If this con-dition is unavoidable, then change R4 on the EV kit to a resistor no smaller than 200Ω. This resistor will limit the current into the VCNTL pin for cases where V CC is grounded or left open.Modifying the EV Kit I ncreasing the value of the external current-setting resistors, R1 (first amp stage) and R2 (second amp stage), can reduce the current draw of the amplifier section of the device. Doubling the values of each of these external resistors cuts the DC current drain approximately in half but at the expense of approxi-mately 5.4dB lower OI P3. Since the linearity of the amplifier is set by the cascaded performance of the two amplifier stages, one must be careful to balance the current distribution of the two stages to optimize OI P3 at the lowest current. The MAX2056 EV kit has been designed and assembled to add the flexibility of measuring the device in different configurations. The kit has been assembled to cascade one attenuator section followed by the output amplifier. Some other configurations can be set as follows. Configuration A) To use two attenuators followed by an output amplifier: Move capacitor C3 on the EV kit to con-nect pin 2 trace to pin 35 trace of the IC. Apply the RF input signal to SMA J4 and take the output signal from SMA J2.Configuration B) To use only the attenuator between I C pins 2 and 8: Move capacitor C3 to connect the pin 2 trace of the IC to the trace of connector J1. Apply the RF input signal to SMA J4 and take the output signal from SMA J1.Configuration C) To use only the attenuator between I Cpins 35 and 29: Move capacitor C5 to connect the pin 29trace of the IC to the trace of connector J5. Apply the RFinput signal to SMA J1 and take the output signal fromSMA J5.Configuration D) To use only the amplifier: Move capaci-tor C5 to connect the pin 26 trace of the IC to the trace ofconnector J5. Apply the RF input signal to SMA J5 andtake the output signal from SMA J2.Configuration E) To insert a function between one attenu-ator and an output amplifier, configure the board for bothconfiguration B and D. I nsert the desired functionbetween SMA connectors J1 and J5. Apply the input sig-nal to SMA J4 and take the output signal from SMA J2.Layout Considerations The MAX2056 evaluation boards can be used as aguide for board layout. Pay close attention to thermaldesign and placement of components on the PC board. The exposed paddle (EP) on the MAX2056 packageconducts heat away from the die and provides a low-impedance electrical connection. The EP must beattached to the PC board ground plane with a low ther-mal and electrical impedance contact. I deally, this isprovided by soldering the backside package contactdirectly to a metal ground plane on the PC board.Alternatively, the EP can be connected to a groundplane using an array of plated vias directly below theEP. The MAX2056 EV kit uses nine evenly spaced,0.016in-diameter, plated through holes to connect theEP to the lower ground planes.Evaluates: MAX2056 MAX2056 Evaluation Kit_______________________________________________________________________________________3E v a l u a t e s : M A X 2056MAX2056 Evaluation Kit 4_______________________________________________________________________________________Figure 1. Merrithew Pilates 设备移动指南说明书
Things to Remember When…Moving Pilates EquipmentIt is worth remembering that a successful move of your Pilates equipment is one where your equipment arrives undamaged and you accomplish the move unhurt. With that in mind, this tip sheet is divided into safety tips for moving and packing tips for shipping Reformers and other large Merrithew equipment pieces.Moving Pilates Equipment SafelyWhen rearranging or relocating your Merrithew equipment,it’s important to keep your back safe to avoid potential injury. Here are some tips to help make the process smooth and risk-free.• Check the move path for objects or floor irregularities that could put an abrupt stop to a loaded move or damageyour equipment.• Avoid using a Reformer with easy-roll wheels as a trolleyand loading it up with accessories.• When lifting keep your back straight and bend your knees. Grip firmly and lift slowly.• If using an elevator, confirm beforehand that the equipment will fit into the space available. If using stairs, check that both ends of the stairwell offer clear passage.• When loading the equipment into a vehicle, make sureit will fit before you lift it.• When in doubt ask for help! Do not attempt to lift heavy equipment on your own.NOTE: If extra space is required when moving a Reformer, the feet, wooden standing platform and pulley posts can be removed. Removing the carriage out of the rails will make the load lighter. It is recommended when possible to use professional movers and leave the sometimes tricky heavy lifting to them.Moving Your Reformer Damage-Free and Parts Loss-Free Here are useful packing tips to keep your Reformer safe andall its small bits present and accounted for:• Remove carriage from the rails keeping carriage parallelwith the rails until the carriage fully clears the rails.NOTE: carriage removal is a two-person job.• Remove the floating rollers and shoulder rests from the carriage.• Wrap the carriage in a protective covering such as a blanketor bubble wrap.• Affix a sign to the top of the carriage that says… “Do not put anything on the carriage top”. Any weight left on the carriagetop will permanently indent the underlying EVA foam beneaththe vinyl covering.• Store carriage on its side.• Remove feet, shoulder rests, traditional gearbar, carriagestopper, pulley posts and floating rollers and put items in a bag labeled “Important Reformer Parts”. Make a clear mental note where the parts bag has been stored for the move.• Wrap rails and wooden standing platform in bubble wrap toprotect them from scrapes and gouges.• If using professional movers make it abundantly clear to themthat the pieces of equipment they are moving are veryimportant to you!• If upon arrival at your new location you find you need a bitmore room to get around a tight corner, the feet and thewooden standing platform can be removed to gain a bit more clearance. Tipping the Reformer on its side to negotiate acorner should also be tried.• Any small scratches or abrasions to the black, powder coated, front and back support ends of the Reformer can be effectively hidden by using a black Markal steel marker.• Should you need to reference an assembly manual, the various manuals for each piece of equipment can be viewed at: /support/equipment-manuals-assemblyWhen moving other large pieces of Pilates equipment takethe precaution to protect sensitive areas with bubble wrap suchas padded vinyl surfaces, Cadillac vertical poles, Stability Chairand Ladder Barrel side panels etc.Questions about equipment maintenance?Need a quote on replacement parts?Contact our Customer Care Department1.800.910.0001 ext. 288 (North America)1.416.482.4050 ext. 288 (International)**************************PM-4K-2™/®TrademarkorregisteredtrademarkofMerrithewCorporation,usedunderlicense.Allrightsreserved.For more information contact our Customer Service1.800.910.0001 ext. 288 | 0800.328.5676 ext. 288 (UK) | 416.482.4050 ext. 288 (Customer Care) *****************************|。
